A Rainy Reunion (Silvac)
Raindrops pelted Peyton's umbrella as she stood alone. She had certainly made a poor choice by deciding to walk home. Such weather had forced her to go out of her way and buy an umbrella so she wouldn't catch a cold on the way home. Getting sick now wouldn't be good. After all, if she got sick it wouldn't just be her. Her baby would get sick too. Not to mention Marcus might catch it since he's been awful clingy and needy lately. With a small, but content, sigh, Peyton spidered her had over her bloated belly and rocked on her heels. The light sure was taking a long time to change.
"Hm... how does soup sound?" She mumbled softly to herself as she looked down at her stomach. Peyton would sometimes jokingly talk to her belly, as if the baby inside could hear and understand what she was saying. As she looked down, Peyton could see the traffic light's reflection in the puddles on the road. The stop, walk light had turned to the walking stick figure. This signified that pedestrians had the right away to walk across the street. Peyton adjusted her grip on her umbrella before starting to make her way across.

Re: A Rainy Reunion (Silvac)
Silvac felt the rain pitter patter on his snout and run down the back of his neck only to get stopped by his fur coat. He loved the rain but sometimes he felt as though he got too wet from it... Especially in the new clothing that his captain had purchased for him so far back after his old clothing had gotten ripped to shreds from all of the fighting and such. He puffed out a bit of smoke from his lit cigar amazed that it was staying lit in these weather conditions. The smoke probably didn't help the fact his throat was already horrendously damaged but it did help relax him a bit and that's what he felt that he needed. His life seemed to be nothing but stress... although that wasn't too terribly surprising considering the fact he was a chimerae. Even with that in mind he found friends all over... he had yet to meet one he could share everything; all the pain that he wished he didn't have to hold in. He had found people to lessen that pain thankfully.
His thoughts were interrupted by him bumping into a woman that was holding an umbrella. At first he was going to apologize and then he blinked a few times as her face brought a few flashes of memory to his rather hampered brain. A quick smile broke across his face and he placed a hand on the woman's shoulder, her name emerged from his lips in a greeting and from this his ears seemed to perk up a bit.
Peyton.
They had horrible troubles the last time they met trying to communicate and it eventually boiled down to silvac having to leave. She had managed to teach him her name and even taught him not to fear some of the alchemy she seemed to use. He still didn't fully trust alchemists but she was probably the only exception he had made was her though since well... she's helped him more than a lot of the humans he's come across. Save valdis. No one's helped him more than her but she was always busy it seemed... then again she had a company to run... Silvac blinked a few times before saying the woman's name again; he wanted to make sure that she recognized him.
Peyton!

Re: A Rainy Reunion (Silvac)
"Eh-?" Peyton heard her name being called. She squinted her eyes and peered through the mist and rain. "Hello?" Peyton moved her head right and left before turning all the way around. Her eyes met a huge and bulky figure, with smoke coming out of its mouth. Peyton couldn't help but stumble back a bit and gawk.
"Ah- !!" Peyton gasped as she suddenly slipped on the wet sidewalk and toppled over. Not good not good not good! She couldn't land on her stomach! As she fell, her mind flashed back to her days when she was in a martial arts class, to help with her rehabilitation after her automail surgery. Her master was teaching her how to fall without hurting herself.
"You have to stick your leg out and your arm, so that you'll fall on your back. The shock of the fall should go to your arm," Her master instructed with his thick Xingese accent.
"But won't it still hurt?" A younger Peyton questioned. "If you don't fall right it won't. Remember to tuck your chin in as well, so no damage comes to the head either."
"But-" Peyton tried to blurt out another excuse. Her master just shoved her. Peyton reacted quickly, tucking her chin in and sticking her leg out. Her arm sprung out as well. When she landed, her palm hit the mat. No pain came except a slight tingling sensation in her arm after hitting the ground.
"Very good." The old Xingese man grinned down at her. "Master you can be so mean!"
As reality came back to her, she quickly stuck her leg and arm out. The weight shifted so that she would land on her back instead of her side. Peyton tucked in her chin and waited for the impact. She hit the ground with a soft thud. No pain came, except for a slight tingling sensation in her arm. "Thank you, Master." After regaining her composure and picking up the umbrella, Peyton turned to face her greeter. As she got a closer look, his features came into view now. Those familiar features...
"S-Silvac?"

Re: A Rainy Reunion (Silvac)
Silvac watched his old friend slip and fall... He couldn't help but cringe when she caught herself. He didn't think he was that surprising to folks he's met before, maybe it was just the fact he sorta just bumped into her in the most random of place... Then again that's kinda how they met in the first place. That entire get away jazz was just insane, he was glad that she had gotten to safety after he had left her. He hoped she didn't harbor any hard feelings towards the chimerae. He started to offer a hand to help her up but when she caught herself he figured it wasn't needed. He glanced at his automail arm and winced a little; he could only imagine the pain that he would of had to go through if he had to relearn how to walk again. The chimerae drew in a breath and sighed softly as he felt rain patter against his hair making it damper than before; he loved the rain but he loved meeting old friends even more. Even if they didn't speak the same language he and peyton had figured out some very basic ways of communicating.
Peyton..
He had learned her name and maybe picked up some meanings of her language but he was still unable to talk in it. He took a couple steps forward and hugged peyton tightly around her shoulders before patting the top of her head. He had gained a couple inches of height and gotten stronger since they last met, in fact so much had happened that he felt like everything was different. But he couldn't explain and expect her to be able to understand unless she had that translation book with her, he doubted she did though. He made a book opening gesture and blinked at her as he stepped back again; just because some things have changed doesn't mean everything did...
