Christmas Party! (Open)

Music hummed throughout the small apartment. People chattered, glasses clinked, silverware fell on the floor. Ack! Someone broke one of the nice plates she bought! No no no! Who changed the music!? This is a Christmas party! Not a damn rave! Peyton looked around at all the guests that arrived. They were definitely not wearing tacky Christmas sweaters. Oh god! One of them wasn't even wearing a shirt!

Marcus would have some hell to pay after everyone left. He promised a nice Christmas Party, not a bunch of high and drunk idiots ruining the apartment! This was a disaster! Okay, she needed to calm down. Being stressed out was not good for her, especially when she was expecting a baby. She sat down on a chair and sighed. This was going to be a long night. And Marcus would be doing all the cleaning. She pulled off the ugly Christmas sweater she had been wearing, since she didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb, and set it aside.

Suddenly everything went dark. Then, lights came on. But they weren't regular lights. They were colorful lights that made designs and spun all around the room. Where did those come from!?
