DescriptION:
→ An asian girl with long red hair that flows down her back, usually free flowing. She has a heavily scarred body, mostly on the arms and legs though also on her back. Her eyes are a vivid green and ever so slightly feline in appearence. She has an athletic, hourglass figure with a small chest and hips. Her skin tone is your typical asian skin tone usually associated with someone from china or japan.

She will rarely be seen in a skirt preffering the comfort and security of trousers. She also likes the fact that she has more pockets in trousers. Despite her good looks she will rarely accuent them with makeup or show them off with low-cut or tight clothing. Instead, she will most commonly be seen wearing loose clothing and boots. Her arms are nearly always covered by clothing and if not will be covered by bandages. She also carries with her two sword which are strapped to the back of the waist. These weapons are actually gunblades allowing for both close and long range combat. She also wears a grey scarf. The gloves she is rarely seen without, one black and one white, have transmutation circles stitched onto them.

PERSONALITY:
→ She has a playful yet cheeky personality that often causes her to get into fights not that she minds this too much of course. She has a stubborn streak refusing to give up even if it is hopeless. If she does start losing she gets really angry and will often lash out viciously. She also has a slight alcohol problem that developed when she first came back to Amestris after training across the world. She is also quite impatient possibly due to her high level of intelligence.

She is a blatant lesbian and when drunk, or sometimes even when she is sober, she has a tendency to grope women especially those with large breasts. She is fond of riddles and will often try to confuse her opponent with these or even her allies when she is just messing around.

She has an intense hatred and distrust for all males and it will often take her a long time before she will trust any male. Surprisingly, this also includes her idol Roy Mustang. She sees him more as a target to beat then anything else. However, it is likely due to her respect for his skill that she would trust him more quickly then just some random guy.

As mentioned earlier she has a great love for fighting that developed on her journey to become a strong alchemist. When she is not training her alchemic skills she will be seen working her body or training in her combat skills. She is good at several martial arts and will rely mostly on her feet and her sword when fighting without alchemy. She is very fond of her sword, which was a gift from her parents on returning home to take the state alchemy exams. One of her favourite techniques is to coat it with fire and launch a blade of flame at the opponent.

HISTORY:
→ Her life was rather ordinary with a father and mother as alchemists. From a young age she was trained by them to eventually join the military as a state alchemist so as to follow in their footsteps. She was quite skilled and her parents called her a prodigy due to what she could do. At the age of 15 she left her home and began to travel across the world using her alchemy to try and help people and to try and develop her skills further. It was on this journey that she read about the flame alchemist Roy Mustang and began to use his achievements as targets because she too wanted to be a flame alchemist though she already had an idea for a unique name: The Phoenix Flame alchemist..

It was on her journey that she developed a love of fighting and a hatred of men. This was due to on several occasions men trying to take advantage of her due to her apparent vulnerability. At first she did not want to use her alchemy for violence, but realised it was the only way to defend herself so she began to train her alchemy for more combat-based abilities, such as throwing fireballs. She also began training her body to try and increase her strength incase she could not use alchemy for some reason. Whilst training and defending herself she gained the many scars that now cover her body and changed her clothing style in order to hide this. This was not due to her being shy of them, but instead not wanting to show she was weak enough to get so many scars.

It was due to her hatred of men in general that she became a lesbian though she only realised this at age 18 when she groped a woman by accident and liked it. It was just after this that she headed off to try and become a state alchemist. She is currently waiting to take the exam in order to qualify as a state alchemist. She is confident she will succeed due to her alchemic prowess especially with fire based alchemy.

Whilst on her journey she began to play video games and her favourite character was Yoshi. She currently has a portable game device with multiple games for it all which contain her favourite character Yoshi. It is due to this and the fact that her name seems so similar to the game character that she gained the nickname Yoshi from people she met on her journey. Due to the pronounciation being similar and the fact that she liked the character this did not bother her. However, she doesn't like people she doesn't trust using it.

She joined the Fort Briggs team whilst awaiting her state alchemy exam and quickly became the right hand of Daigoro and their best scout. She enjoyed it there and got on well with most of the officers even the male ones. She especially got on well with Daigoro and Reila.

When the incident in South City occured Houka was one of the people sent to assist and whilst there she was one of the first to call out Xan as a traitor. Her actions afterwards however proved she knew little of military leadership and was better at following orders. Due to her lack of foresight Xan was able to escape along with Scion Grey. During the south city incident she damaged her shoulder which took over a few weaks to heal.

However, whilst she was waiting for it to heal she decided to develop her alchemy and discovered by a slight change of her transmutation circle she gained the ability to manipulate the temperature of the area around her and with another alteration she gained the ability to create rain. Through much experimentation she managed to combine these two abilities into one transmutation circle in order to be able to make it rain, snow, sleet or hail on command with ferocious intensity.

However, this was not all she learned. Reila, her commanding officer, taught her the ability to manipulate wind which when combined with her other abilities and her swordmanship made her a much more fearsome fighter. With the help of Reila she combined the wind transmutation circle with that of her precipitation to make what was known as the Blizzard circle though it could do much more then that. This was then tatooed on the base of her blade's hilt making it the object she used for transmutation rather then the gloves. She still wears gloves, but they no longer have the flame circle. She has foregoed her previous title of flame alchemist and is now known as the Blizzard Alchemist of the Briggs Brigade.

When Fort Briggs was attacked by Drachma and the Drakkar Houka used her weather manipulation combined with Reila's ice manipulation to launch operation CrossScour using their combination technique known as a Nailstorm. During this even she found that Mura had switched sides due to money and was given the task of paying him off in order to return him to their side. However, in anger at his betrayal she launched a ball of wind at him that sent him flying into the wall. Normally, this would knock someone unconcious, but unfortunately it put him into a comatose state. This put Houka into a deep depression that she is still recovering from.

After the fateful dinner where she and Briggs were introduced to Wrath and discovered the truth behind the Fuhrer Houka recieved something she did not expect, a promotion to the head of North HQ. This did not change much as she still stayed at Briggs and served under Reila Tsukino, but it did give her much more authority and with it a larger amount of resource to use in the upcoming battle against Father. Little did she know that before that could occur another battle would come. One that would reveal much about Reila's past and truly test Houka's skills.

With her promotion came a desire to become even stronger and thus she went back to her roots in flame alchemy and created her Water Bomb technique though this could also be used for Ice. She also split her Blizzard Circle into two parts, one to manipulate wind which she kept on the blade and one for precipitation which was stitched onto her black glove. The water bomb circle was stitched onto her white glove.

Her sword which she only had reforged after the south city incident had once again been reforged though this time as a gunblade giving her much more versatility in combat. However, she no longer wields just a single weapon. Instead, she dual wields these gunblades.

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ Her alchemic ability consists of the manipulation of temperature, precipitation and wind to give her almost complete control of the weather over a small area. She has also developed the ability to make water and ice explode using her alchemy.

1. The picture has to be from an anime. Unfortunately no real people pictures. =/ You can draw it though. [Is that you btw? Awesome~ The sword looks nice, but the grip should be much further down from the tsuba =D]
2. The description limit is usually 150 words, but you're so close that it's not worth adding 6 more words. If you want, you can.
3. Personality: I know this is the hardest part. The word limit is 300 though, so try to elaborate about everything, you can even tell a story about why certain things are so.
4. History: You need 450 words here so just add details in here and there and you should be good!
5. Alchemic Ability: Sounds interesting, make sure you make a Transmutation equipment app!
