What are you saying?
It was warm, but not too warm. And sunny, but not too sunny. It was a perfect balance between the two, and she liked it that way. Peyton was walking down the streets of La Cerise, feeling pretty good and excited to look around. She had decided to take her vacation here. She had also been saving up a bit of money to go, so it was exciting that she finally had enough. Most of the time she was saving to go to college someday, but occasionally she set aside some other money for a vacation.
But, there was a problem. She couldn't speak Cerisian; not one word. So she had taken it upon herself to buy a Cerisian to Amestrian dictionary. She didn't have enough money to pay for someone to translate for her, so she'd just do it herself. Sometimes it got a little frustrating when she couldn't say something correctly, but it was alright. She was here to relax and have fun. But, at the moment it wasn't very fun. She had no idea where she was. She looked around, trying to figure out what street she had stumbled into.
"Darn it, lost that stupid map..." She mumbled to herself as she dug through her pockets to pull out her phone.
She checked the time and saw that it was getting late. If she didn't get back to her hotel soon she might run into trouble. Trouble was something she wanted to avoid at all costs, since she was pretty vulnerable at the moment. She could handle maybe one guy trying to mug her. But a lot, hell no.

Re: What are you saying?
Aa how Caj LOVED to be home. The sun beat on his tan skin, glinting off his pink hair. All his blonde dye had faded out, The slightest yellow tint was in place of the once strong blonde color. Sometimes Caj wondered why his hair was so oddly colored by nature. It wasn't as if his parents had those colors, but then again, Cajetan could not and refused to remember said parents. Nevertheless, the pink-haired man wandered through the streets, looking for time to kill. Currently, his uncle's casino was empty, so Caj couldn't exactly gamble like he wanted to. Not like he ever lost money. the games were always fixed and Caj knew JUST the way to play the cards into his own winning hand. It wasn't cheating, it was creative play. At least, that's what Caj lived by.
His tank top held loosely to his toned body, days surfing obviously paid off. As well, Caj had a tenancy to keep a workout, just to burn off those late night sundae escapades, After all, he couldn't resist ice cream, just like a handful of other people. Naturally that wasn't important right then, but what WAS important was a very lost looking tourist. Caj only assumed she was one through his sharp eyesight and the look on her face that was both confused and distraught. Time to make a move.
"Hello, Miss. Having trouble?" He swept in as a bird, grinning at her. Naturally he assumed she understood Cersian, if only a bit. Who came to La Cerise without a bit of knowledge of the language? That was just silly.

Re: What are you saying?
"Uh sorry what?" She replied to the odd man who had just walked over to her.
Her freckled face flushed as she got a good look at him. He was... well damn he was hot. His tan skin was a beautiful golden brown. His eyes were alluring and a bit mischievous. And his body, good god don't even get her started. He was tall, lean, and toned. Her heart raced as she traced each line that was etched into his body. His pink hair was odd, but it worked for him. The heat in her face increased as she realized she had been staring at the Adonis. "This is exactly why you will end up being cat lady Peyton, you're a creep," She mentally scolded herself.
In a hasty effort to distract herself, she dug into her bag and pulled out her trusty Cerisian to Amestrian dictionary. She flipped through the pages a bit and found the words she was looking for.
"I lost, can help?" She asked in terrible Cerisian. She really had chosen poorly for a vacation spot. Next time around, she'd just go somewhere where people spoke Amestrian.
Peyton nervously scratched the back of her head and ruffled her red hair a little. She felt so embarrassed and awkward. This hot dude had walked up to her and talked to her, and all she could do was stutter something in horrible Cerisian and act stupid.

Re: What are you saying?
"Uh leid, was?" Damn. For some reason this girl wouldn't understand him. He was tempted to just shrug his shoulders, wave it off and go find the next big thing, but the girl brought forth a book and flipped through pages. "I lost, can help?" Oh, this would be rich. So Caj could at least sort of understand what she had to say, but she would have to search determinedly to find what he had to say. If he really wanted to mess with her he'd speak in a faster manner, but it seemed that was no what he wanted to do. Instead, Caj would try and be patient. How out of character, he could almost hear his uncle say something along those lines. Caj wasn't so sure why his uncle hated him so much, Well, really he could kind of guess. Most people were pissed when their nephews were 22 and without a real job. Even though Caj strongly believed his job WAS a real job, not to mention dangerous.
Nevertheless, he needed to speak. After a moment of contemplation, Caj formed a simple sentence, to the best of his ability. "Where are you headed?" His eyes stared at her gently. Caj was no vicious man, despite being a card shark. It was an awkward moment and the girl was blushing as if her natural blood flow went straight to her face. Well, it was pretty possible, but she'd been fine a moment ago. Naturally it had to be his good looks and charm. Caj knew well how he looked and the effect it could have on unsuspecting victims. A grin formed on his own face. A hand rested on her shoulder and he peered over her shoulder. Translation books weren't that great, but they would hopefully get the jist of the conversation.

Re: What are you saying?
The hairs on the back of her neck stood up straight as she felt his hand slide onto her shoulder. Peyton's face grew hot as the sun. She almost didn't catch what he had asked since his touch distracted her so much.
"Dove sei diretto?"
Dove, yes she knew that meant where. She had used that word a lot on her trip so far. She was constantly finding herself lost, so that was why. Peyton assumed he had thankfully understood what she said, so she dug around her pants pocket until her hand touched a piece of paper. She slowly slid it out and unfolded it. After examining the crumpled paper for a moment, she scooted her way out of his shoulder grip (as she would do with any man, she really had no skills with them) and turned to present the paper to the attractive pink-haired man who was trying to help her.
It was the address to a hotel that was actually on a different side of the town, unbeknownst to Peyton. Which just goes to show how terrible she was with directions. She gave out a small nervous chuckle and she comb her fingers through her crimson locks. Wow, she was more awkward than usual.

Re: What are you saying?
There it was. The woman pulled out a map and was pointing to a spot. Clearly, she had given up in trying to speak in his language. That was good, because he sort of felt bad, making her butcher it. He rolled his eyes and smiled at her. Of course she was going the wrong way, completely and utterly. Her spot was about a mile from where they were and Caj wasn't exactly near his car. Well damn, he had to walk this foreign chick to checkpoint A and the maybe grab his car, because there was no way in hell, he was walking a mile or so to get her to some place that was out of his damn way. Why did he have to be such a great guy? It was okay, though, because other people could continue to spite him. Oh the jealousy he knew people felt for not being him. There was a second passing and he ran his hand through his pink locks, helping him to think by some strange magic.
Next step problem.. How was he going to tell this woman he wasn't a creep when they went to his house so he could get his car. If he just left, she'd likely be freaking out and think he'd abandoned her, but just taking her there might make him look like a creep. A FAR-FETCHED IDEA, to think ANYONE would see him as some weirdo or creeper, but it was better to avoid such uncomfortable circumstances.
A brilliant idea! He grabbed a pen out from his pocket and snatched her paper, flipping it over, to draw stick figures and a car. After she'd seen it, he pointed desperately, a but energetically towards his place. Of course, he was also jumping and down like a lunatic, but that was okay, he seemed perfectly in place and only earned more stares. LET THEM STARE! They could take him in all they wanted, as his hand slid around her waist, slowly guiding her towards the vehicle that saved his sanity. He made a mental note to take Miming, maybe that would help in the future, one day.

Re: What are you saying?
She watched as the strange, strange pink haired young man was jumping around in front of her. She looked at his crude drawing, and could make out a person and a car. He was going to drive her there? She raised her eyebrow a bit in suspicion. It was nice.... but she didnt exactly know him. Could she really trust him? What if it turned out he was some sort of psyco? Well, she just had to take her chances. It was a good thing she had decided to pack that pepper spray too. If it came down to it, she'd use it.
She gave a curt nod, to say that she'd go along with his idea. She was pretty desperate to get back to her hotel soon too. She was dog tired, and her stump hurt. "Yeah let's do that."
