Requiem for an ex
Most people didn't speak with their exes. A normal person would avoid them like the plague, delete their numbers off the phone and act as if the never existed in the first place. Bitter feelings and often sour words tainted and otherwise perfect relationship. How could it be that someone would still hang around their ex, text them a smiley face and heart once and a while and even now- Caj stood outside her door, bracing himself for what could possibly turn terrible. It didn't matter to him, after all, he was pleased with himself and even if she hated his guts, he could never feel in such a way. Even if they were broken up, there was still a special place in his heart, like a home she'd carved with the shiv of a personality she had at times. It was something he might sit and think of at somedays.. but for now he was just enjoying himself. He hadn't a worry, standing there with a bouquet and smile befitting a date as compared to a casual meeting. It took him a second to think of what her reaction might even be seeing him. Knowing her, it was likely she might be violent and bludgeon the hell out of him, but he was okay with it. What was some bruises to seeing a friend's face? no matter the status, he would always care for her, right? Maybe he was just being cheesy. Like those damn soap operas he (admittedly) watched. Secretly, he wanted a taste at times. A true romance that he would probably never find again, but hey.. life was life.
Nevertheless, a hand full of pretty flowers (she'd probably destroy) was sitting in his hands and his casual look of douchebag ghetto appeal sat on his body. A large tank-top with baggy cargo pants and some old boots. Around his neck, rested a silver chain and his bushy hair was pulled back and out of his face. The pink and blonde mix was always odd when the dye faded and his true colors shone. The golden orbs of his own standing out and kind of almost making his appearance look like a pink and yellow tie-dye. His tan skin seeming almost out of place at times. However, that didn't get him down. NO! Caj was quite confident he'd at least get a smile out of the woman. The sun was fading down and the cascading pinks and oranges seemed to almost match his own natural colors. That was pretty odd in his own opinion. The way the colors moved and morphed like a mini-movie around the world. Somewhere it was completely dark and somewhere else, the light was shedding.
With a raise of his hand, he rapped twice in the door and waited with a grin.
