Is that?...
Layus stood there silently looking up at all the amazing buildings. Everything here was so tall, he felt like he was being dwarfed by the structures. He cocked his head to the side as he looked up, bumping into people as he walked down the sidewalks. I wonder...what these buildings taste like. Maybe if he ate them, he would grow taller? It was simple logic! His head nodded in agreement to his thoughts, bouncing his blue hair up and down as he stood in the middle of the sidewalk. Layus didn't seem to notice the crowds of people bumping into him, still transfixed at looking towards the buildings. He spun in a circle, wondering how how things would look then, and his eyes caught a glimpse of the sun glaring down on him. He immediately winced and covered his face, while at the same time lowering his head, so that the sun couldn't harm him anymore. Stupid sun... When his eyes were no longer hurting from the sun, he lowered his hands. He looked around him at all the crowds of people. They all looked tasty as well. Maybe he could eat them, as well as the buildings. A people-building sandwich! Yum... Layus then noticed someone in between the mobs of people. Hey wasn't that....

Re: Is that?...
Someone that didn't fit in at all with the swam of people flowing down the street? Yes. Kira's dark figure slunk in the shadows of the large building to escape the midday sun that sliced into his black eyes and reflected their true dark blue color. He dragged his feet lazily and cursed today's weather, wishing it would just rain already! It hadn't rained in a week... He also didn't get to see Zeeva today. This set his spirits even lower. He looked up from the cracked pavement to see a sudden flash of light blue. He blinked, focusing his dull eyes on the object. Was that...a human? He tilted his head to the side slightly, contemplating this until someone smashed into the side of him. Kira stumbled into the oncoming crowd and somehow ended up standing in the middle of the mobs of people. He sighed, getting dizzy and swaying slightly. He had also forgotten to wear his tie around his neck today... He looked back up and noticed the blue-haired troubling guy was approaching. Kira made a move to escape before something even more annoying occupied his time.

Re: Is that?...
Layus watched as the familiar man started to turn to move away. Awww...all he wanted was to say "hello". He watched and thought the man was moving rather sluggishly though, maybe he could catch up to him?
"Hey!! Wait up!!"
In that instant the wind blew, and Layus caught a bit of the man's scent. That's what it was...he smelled different. This man was definitely not human...maybe that's why Layus didn't feel the urge to eat him. It would also explain why he didn't smell as delicious as the people around him. He ran towards the man, his blue hair bobbing as he took each step.
"...are you...like me?" he asked staring at the man, and cocking his head. He just had to be! He had a similar underlying scent as Layus. If Layus was wrong he'd eat his fingers...no wait...he'd eat his arm. It was tasty anyway...He then looked past the man and his eyes followed a bird flying by...Hmmm that looked good to eat too.

Re: Is that?...
"..." Kira blinked at the strange blue-haired bother that currently was stalking him. He slowed further--if that was possible--until he eventually stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. People were rushing passed and into large corporate buildings like rivers flowing into the sea. How Kira knew this, he had no idea. From where he stood, the homunculus stared intensely at the other, hoping he would scare the creature off with his eyes alone. It usually worked, but the thing was watching a bird. Kira took a step to escape, but to no avail... He turned almost black eyes back to the metal-nosed guy, his curiosity peaking. What if he was another one of those...homunculi? Zeeva had never mentioned him...but she also hadn't known about Ever. As he paused, he realized the danger of wasting precious escape time and moved to place his foot back down on the pavement and lift the other one up for the next annoying step.

Re: Is that?...
Layus looked back towards the mysterious man with the familiar scent. He had lost interest in the bird since it had flown too far for him to see. He stared intensely at him, trying to figure out if he had seen him from somewhere. He seemed...so...familiar. He bent closer to investigate him, his eyes still wide. He then moved his head in towards the man who was slowly inching away, and took a deep breath in sniffing the man's scent. Yeah....it definitely smelled similar! He then noticed a tattoo on the man's neck partially hidden beneath the folded down collar of his turtleneck. That looked familiar too...Oh! Layus realized it was the same shape as the one he had!
"Hey maybe we do know each other! Look we have the same tattoo!" Layus exclaimed, he stuck out his tongue at the man and bounced up and down in excitement. "Does that mean you're a humunculi too?!" Layus was very excited, he had never met another person like himself, he had only heard about them from Father.
He then went back to staring intensely at the man waiting for his response.

Re: Is that?...
Kira spun around so quick it didn't even look like he had moved. His eyes shone like a beaten dog's as Layus began to sniff him. A cold shiver traced the bones down his spine as he clenched his fist in a struggle to hold back his desire to destroy. Kira didn't get angry. He had no temper unless it involved Zeeva, and he never acted on emotion, seeing as his were dulled considerably; Kira merely felt the need to end the annoyance--to stop whatever it was that was interfering with his own being. Killing was natural: this was what Father had ingrained into his brain before he even knew what death was. He winced as the shrill voice of the blue-haired annoyance met with his ears where he eventually deciphered the words whether he wanted to or not. Ah, so he was a homunculus too like Ever, Zeeva, Endavi, and himself with the purple oroboros tattoos. Kira was feeling less special. And oddly enough, less cursed. The bouncing had to stop though, but it seemed it never could...being as that the other was also an immortal. Kira hissed, his black eyes glinting with annoyance, no, it was too bothersome to hold it back any further. His hand flew at the speed of light and grasped the thing's forehead, streaming the two of them through the winding crowd and slamming his head and whole body into a brick wall in the back of an ally way. He had only used one arm, but he may have over done it... especially considering how loud his skull cracked and the quality of blood littering the pavement. "Don't do that," Kira stated in a cold voice, cutting like winter wind.

Re: Is that?...
Dull eyes of dark blue sat comfortably in the skull of the young detective as he walked down the crowded street in his hunched position. He really did hate leaving his home to even go to ork, but leaving work to get a new slice of cake for one of his co-workers because he accidentally ate it on purpose? Annoying, that's what.
The man let out a light yawn as a nimlbe hand rubbed his eyes, before he watched a man drag some hunger-stricken fat guy (well, Sugar was near-anorexic, so it's understandable of that thought) into an alley, followed by a deafening crack only the detective himself seemed to hear.
Crunch!
Wide blue eyes stared up as the knife impales itself in his father's throat, the sound of cracking bones and flowing blood sickening to his young mind as he quickly rolled out from under him as he fell.
The man shook his head slightly as he ran a hand through mishevelled black hair, before he found himself at the entrace of the alley; hunched over, as usual. There was blood staining the wall as the strong man had cracked the fat guy's skull, before he dimly noticed the automail nose of all things and the fact the fat guy was still alive.
He had to push down his 'J' instinct of putting the fat guy out of his misery as he approached the two with a plain, bored expression. Anything was better than preforming orders on time for a subordinate of all things, so he tapped teh strong skinny guy's arm with his right foot lightly and cleared his through, dark bags evident under his eyes as he did so.
"I hope you are aware that violence isn't permitted in this city,"

Re: Is that?...
It happened in a flash, and before he knew it Layus was on the ground, with his head split open. Blood oozed from the wound that was created by the wall he had slammed into. Why? Why was this happening to him? All he wanted was to be friends with the familiar man. He felt his head reform back onto his body, and the wounds that would have been fatal close up. "Ouch..." he said stupidly, "that really hurt...why did you do that?" He put his hands to his automail nose to find that it was still attached...thank god. It was such a pain to fix that thing. He wondered if his real nose would ever grow back.
Bouncing to his feet, he soon noticed another man had appeared. He looked and smelled...tasty. He was still determined to befriend the man who had tried to kill him. His step had bounces in them, and as he walked towards the unfriendly homunculus he noticed that the man had a look of annoyance on his face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to annoy you that much...but look on the bright side, it's like I'm part of your family now!" He was very happy and was showing it, a smile etched along his face as his hair bobbed up and down. He poked the homunculus with his finger, "It's gonna be so much fun! We can do all sorts of things together! I can introduce you to all these yummy things to eat!"
He then cocked his head towards the stranger who was also there with them. "Violence? I wasn't doing anything violent! I'm perfectly harmless!" he said joyfully, bouncing up and down. "And this guy here wasn't hurting me, look I'm fine! Perfectly fine!" He skipped around the other homunculus, wanting to show that he was well to the man.

Re: Is that?...
"Family?" Kira hissed, ignoring the obnoxious foot-poking guy on purpose. He had no idea what a family was, but he sure as hell knew that metal-nose was not a part of it. The rest of what the blue-haired idiot had to say was irrelevant then and Kira tuned it out to deflect his divided attention to the hunched-back of Central. Blinking confused blue eyes at the random person, he said nothing in response until he realized with slight shock that the other homunculus had healed with freakish speed. It was a bit surprising considering it would have taken himself at the very least twenty-four hours... He wasn't complaining though; he deserved the suffering. Most of all though, Kira deserved to die. He missed Zeeva...almost needed her now to prevent those dark thoughts from resurfacing over and over again.
Kira wiped some blood that had splattered onto his face off onto the black sleeve of his turtle neck with the folded over collar. His tattoo was still evident to the world, but he really didn't care; the only reason why it got covered up was because he hated the cold and his neck always gave him chills. When the large homunculus decided on a whim to joyfully skip around him, Kira stuck out his foot to trip him, a murderous scowl etched onto his face.
