These people were pathetic. The way their eyes danced drunkenly on wines and other influences. Was she the only one to see such influence? A party on a playground nonetheless. A smoker to her left that earned a rather daggered look from herself. The eyes that inviting were shot down by her rigid glare that spoke a short 'Fuck off'. God she hated the smokers. They all needed to go and fuck themselves. Light tan skin, dark brown hair and an obvious pissed off expression showed she was utterly repulsed by this, This was her hangout and here there were people short of having sex on the lawn. UGH! Children played here. The impulse. How could she suppress an impulse so strong. They needed to be taught a lesson, quickly and sternly. Her hand twitched. Her scythe.. her mask... She could smite them all, take it all away.

A darkness gripped at her, claiming control slowly. A soft voice that spoke sweet nothings in her ear. A velvet hand slid up her shoulders, the groaning words that wanted her to submit, needed her to submit. Her heart tensed and she fought it. Not enough time, too many witnesses, though they were all intoxicated. Inebriated beyond redemption and yet- Why couldn't she just leave them be? AN ultimate test of the control she had over herself. With some heavy breathing, she managed to turn away, but made sure to stomp hard on the smoker's foot. His scream made her feel so much better. Her heel drove hard enough to feel a few veins pop and skin puncture. That sated the animal some. The hunger was keeled if only for a few minutes. It would return stronger and the mask would be pulled on. Nemesis, she struck at the most inconvenient of times and most commonly on starry nights as such.

Her cocktail dress was slightly torn, which had happened because of ruffians from that FUCKING PARTY. Such a fowl mood she was in now. Her violet eyes stared ahead while she attempted and practiced control. It had been difficult, being in this country long enough, the blood on her hands was often unseen. No one noticed them even, the missing persons she had claimed with her scythe. For now though, it was hidden. It was always well-hidden but never too far by. She didn't stray a distance from her scythe, as her paranoia would surely eat her alive otherwise. A needed crutch that she would keep by with eyes laden in fury. The hunger would be sated, but later when the stroke of midnight hit. She enjoyed cliche's like that. The way the moon arched towards the heights to be snuffed out by moving clouds. Indeed, the red and red ensemble made her stick out as she always did. Yet, she rarely notice the comparison people often had of her. Stopping a second, she looked over and stared back. How many would be dead that wasn't even by her hand, she wondered.

He watched. He watched from the bushes, he recognized from a dossier he had seen of Valeria Diablos. They never had the pleasure to meet, but what he had gathered about her it made him merely smirk. He was dressed in a simple green long-sleeve shirt, jeans, gloves to cover his automail hands and tennis shoes. He no longer needed firearms with his abilities, nor knives considering how hard his hands were and how much force could he put through them. He walked forward as she walked away after the crunch of the drug addict’s foot happened. It made him grin for a moment, not even for any particular reason.

He walked to the large amount of people while speaking in a loud voice, his normal voice. A commanding strong tone that practically announced a don’t fuck with me attitude, it obviously wasn’t recognized.”What are you bunch of drugged up, piece of shit assholes doing in a child’s playground? Get the fuck out of here!” Many of them raised up laughing at him while they continued to laze around. He then smiled and opened his mouth to… Hear ten children’s laughter coming from his mouth? What the fuck was all across the faces around him when he stopped. Then one of them got up and just yelled at him and the others before charging,” We’re just tripping out people! Just beat him down!”

He glanced at the moon, his unnatural smile and calm nature relaxed and unassuming. He glanced and it appeared to be about midnight now. He glanced back down and then reacted. In a flurry of a second or two he had arm locked him, broke his arm and caved in his skull with his fist before flipping him over his body behind him. If anyone was watching, it was self-defense obviously. The others looked at each other before surprisingly charge at him as well. He wondered when she would return and how she would return, this would gain him only infamy and in a legal manner.

He dropped the smile, tsked and shook his head like they were naughty children. Then he punched someone else in the chest breaking their ribs and hammer fisted their face into someone’s body. Their faced crunched in a sweet sound. Like a symphony of blood and death. Battle had been joined once more upon his body, mind and soul.

Click, click, tap, tap. Her heels connected with the cemented roads repeatedly. People bustled into cars and drove away, some ran into buildings and it all left Val by her lonesome upon the world. She didn't care, her only true companion was her chimera 'pet' anyways. even if the pet was bigger than her. Oh well, it wasn't like she cared in the first place. People were not needed in the world and her only friends seemed to be chimera. There wasn't a human she'd met yet that had actually been worth the experience. They were all the same, so corrupted and indulged in their own disgusting morals that made no sense. She was born one of them, but even now, she had rose to be something different than that. She was a demon, a messenger of Satan, himself and what words did she carry? Just die, go to Hell and burn. Sweet words with the fall of mankind in the midst.

These sinners in the world, were gross, scent of death on them, even the ones living were often dead inside and the rotten stench permeated the air until Valeria would possibly get sick. She choked and gagged on it, making her utterly revolted. How others saw her as 'evil' she didn't understand. The ones closest to her, or rather, one near her, understood her. She was doing an ultimate good though, wasn't she? Weeding out the weak and pathetic and sending the dead to the Hellish grave. It was headed there already, so why? Why was it she was a bad person for speeding a motion already in progress?

These worms only plagued the precious world. Satan longed to be fed as any other person. She was simply a messenger and she knew, a certain ring of Hell awaited her, too one day. Live in the now. She could have fun while it lasted, often why she would toy with these victims before she slew them. Who would be today's toy? Her heels upon the oddly silent night when suddenly, a shout of a riot and there it was-. A scream, blood-curdling that made her whole body tingle in a delightful sensation. Fear? No, something more. Intrigue took over as he inner monster fell silent, chewing on the thoughts of a dead body.

Returning to the source of noise made her angry. These disrespectful gits were attacking some man, but all was well, he seemed to effortlessly destroy them. Bodies hit the ground and she could see blood... joyous blood. The impulse hit her again, like a frenzy of sharks swarming in her body. Control..CONTROL! She screamed in her head, while she simply tensed. Frozen in place as that inner monster hungered. Her demon wishing to be released and slit the throats of these pathetic whelps. CONTROL! She spoke as a chant in her mind and yet she couldn't help but enjoy the display, ducking away at a punch as if it were nothing and then kicking the assaulter in the stomach. She couldn't be caught on who she was, but she would damn well enjoy seconds like this, where a dumbass that he could take her on. It was utterly laughable, but she couldn't blame him. It wasn't like he knew who she was, after all.

The little mob raged on, until there were no bodies on their feet and only slight groans. How unruly and not even worth it. It wasn't as if she could just murder them all. Though, it was severely tempting. She wasn't wearing her disguise, so she would be caught with blood on her body and all over her favorite cocktail dress. Not worth it, so breaking a few bones would have to satisfy the screaming demon in her mind. MORE! It bellowed as loudly as it could. DESTROY MORE! No, now was not the time. Instead, she took a slow breath and walked over with her usual charismatic smile. "So~ Were you invited to this party, too?" Well, it wasn't like she was invited. They all fucking invited themselves and acted as if she were some sort of hostess. All because Val had been waiting to go dancing. There went her night.

At least she found slight intrigue in a man who had just abruptly ended the fight with some odd mechanics. It wasn't as if she could read his emotions either. His eyes just- weren't right. They didn't lead anywhere, as if he were some sort of zombie without a soul. It stumped her, but this was no game for her, not yet. A simple conversation was nothing to her. It wasn't as if she were in some manipulating mood, but it never hurt to get to know those around her. Be aware of who might be the enemy. Paranoia.. it always rolled on her spine like the sneaky snake it was. However not a word of her inner thoughts was spoken by the nearly perfect actress. Her violet eyes closed for a minute, kindly. Not at all some sort of murderess. "You aren't hurt are you?" Because it'd be a hassle going to the hospital again. She utterly DESPISED doctors, after all. That wasn't portrayed in her voice.

Purge Empty Re: Purge

Post by Murazar Dauthi Wed Aug 15, 2012 9:14 pm

He noticed in his vision as the woman Valeria returned and defended herself quite effectively. The sight of her and the way her body seemed to scream battle-lust to him. It was akin to what he felt, another demon or devil that was kin to each other. The only difference was the why that they felt and how well they controlled its influence upon them. That was the only appearance he could discern at the moment. He suddenly broke back into the moment by entering a flurry of punches, kicks and stabs with cute little knife toys. He broke bone after bone before the last one was on the ground and he curb stomped their face to break all of their teeth.

The very little groans roamed the air and he took a slight sniff as if checking the aroma of a very delicious drink. None of them deserved to lose their souls; none of them were worth anything to him however. He raised an eyebrow and took a slight bow towards her as if a gesture of equal respect from back in time. His face neutral and merely observant with a small charming smile upon his face. Control and calm screamed from his very soul. Then she spoke in a way that reminded him of himself, or rather similar but with a more dagger-ish flair into it. Charm was what they both had, although very different. They were similar, but completely opposite. How odd.

” Of course not milady. I invite myself; these desperate souls deserve a broken life to suffer through. Death is too good for them.” He viewed death as the final escape, the one constant in life. These idiotic drug addicts would suffer with broken bodies that would never heal right because they had no insurance or large amounts of money to pay a hospital for. None of them knew anything about medicine other than what passed as injections. His eyes never changed, he hoped it had some effect. The very fact that he was quarter machine, half demon and quarter human made him grin in his charming manner. He was curious to know more about this mysterious woman. Something tugged at him and pushed at him to go to her and run away. Danger and intoxication it felt like. A warning to a man who disregarded warnings and only proceeded still, with the same caution as before.

He chuckled lightly as if being wounded was both a joke and an amusing idea, and then he responded in his calculated and calm manner. With charm delivered as always. ” Not at all, Milady. The question I pose to you is the same. Do you have any wounds that need tending?” He rerouted the same question in quite a different manner. His older wording made him seem far older than he looked; of course he was borrowing the words from the older souls in his mind. She hopefully wouldn’t know that. Afterwards he held out a hand as if to either shake or kiss lightly as if an older gentleman. ” My pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Murazar Dauthi.” If she knew his name, she would probably begin piecing the puzzle and rumors together. His name was spoken and rumors floated throughout Briggs. If she didn’t know of him at least in the basics, he would be fairly disappointed at her information gathering skills.

Certainly this man was a masterpiece well created. From violently beating these men within an inch of their lives to so kindly speaking to her. She knew there was a lot more to the man than met the eyes. Her violet orbs rested upon him, observing him and warning him. One wrong move and one of two things would happen: A) she would turn on the offensive and attack or B) she would flee. Valeria didn't like the thought of someone being too close to her. The way he acted was so far, way too bipolar to be trusted. Not to mention her only knowing him for a maximum of ten minutes. She was judgmental and her eyes only hinted at it. She'd give him a fair chance though. A temptress ALWAYS analyzed her newest pets for the weaknesses. Then again, he wasn't a pet yet. He was more her toy of the day, if she could call it that.

His manner of talking would throw most people off, but instead, Valeria found it rather appealing. Her eyes seemed to show a response equal to passing some sort of test. A man who was sophisticated always had good marks in her books. The tally was 1-1 on the pros and cons of keeping him around. He began his speech on inviting himself and how they deserved to suffer. Though she normally was the type to kill such hooligans, he was right. She could see no point in feeding these ones to Satan's stomach anyways. They were nothing, no nourishment, just dumbass-ery. Likely he would be appalled she'd even consider it, like an insult upon him. Bringing God-awful shit wine to a matinee he was hosting. She would be ashamed of such an offering.

Nevertheless, her attention was pulled from disgusting lumps on the ground to a man with pure white hair. Odd for a man obviously so corrupt. It seemed so ironic it made her grin at the idea. There was no way this man had innocence left of any sort. A darkness almost flowed upon him like baggage. His was odd though, making him seem almost.. old compared to her. Though he may have been older for all she knew. She was only 24, after all. Plenty of people were older than that. White hair from old age or natural? If he were old, he certainly didn't look it. So many thoughts racing and yet they all forged one path that led her to him once again.

Valeria was a woman of refine tastes, so as he held out his hand she let hers lay on his gently, as if eying his response, categorizing him. It was nothing personal, just force of habit. Every centimeter he moved was placed in her mind as if it had significant importance. His words asking to make sure she was fine. She simply smiled similarly to his laugh. "I'm more capable than I look." She stated softly in her sweet lilt. Her eyes closed and a soft chuckle escaped her throat; feminine and true.

His next words made her curious. An introduction of the man was Murazar Dauthi. A name she'd heard vaguely of upon little bits of research, but not much since she hadn't really cared. Valeria wasn't into knowing those in a book, she was more for living in the now and then. Oh wait-! This man worked with Ayden, her idol! Now whether that was a good or bad thing, she was uncertain yet. The usual charisma was in her voice with her each word. 'Oh, I believe I've heard the name before. My name is, Valeria Kline." She half lied with ease. Not a bat of an eyelash, not the twitch of a muscle. So smoothly as if it were the truth and in all honesty, it half was. "I visited Briggs a few times, a close friend of mine lives there." Well, they weren't really- She really didn't know WHAT they were. She guessed more of just disciple and teacher. She was after all a learner of chaos.

"'Tis a pleasure to meet you, Mister Dauthi." The conversation itself made her tongue tingle. It wasn't often she caught a man that seemed to know what he was talking about. Most times the people she interacted with were lucky to even know how to tie their shoes. How irritating it had been to be the leader with no real person to lament with. A person who could actually speak on a fourth grade level. Okay, she was being a bit harsh, but damn. Some people were just too easy to learn. "What brings you this far away from home?" Her voice held a bit of teasing in it. She was FAR away from her home, but all her records were long gone. After all, she was considered dead. With how many people wanted her so, it was amazing she was still alive! Valeria knew her acts well. This time though, was no real act and was in all purposes a normal conversation.

Her eyes warning him ever so kindly as he spoke to him, he had met a fellow wolf upon the trails and they were sniffing at each other. Taking heed, observing, analyzing and would eventually come to a conclusion. For now it was rather non-violent and he hoped to keep it that way. If not, this would perhaps be a challenge. Or in most cases laughable. His posture warned her since his eyes could not. His posture bespoke a prepared reaction of maximum destruction. It was obvious he would not flee if it came down to it, he however was controlling himself with a restraint rarely seen that didn’t affect the way he also talked and spoke. He kept the gentlemanly posture while secretly donning the reactive one.

He liked that fact that she seemed to accept his well-mannered tone and wording. It hopefully mean’t he wasn’t about to enter battle or a chase. Well, he most likely wouldn’t pursue this lady of the night. It wasn’t worth destroying a town to chase a dangerous person in hopes of what? Answers to nothing and a worthy battle. He kept the check in mind as he continued on. At the moment he felt like he had entered another battle altogether and he couldn’t tell if they were sparring or warring. Or it was just a friendly conversation between a lady and gentleman.

He raised an eyebrow that complimented his smile and left what the gesture mean’t in a hundred different directions. Confusion, acceptance, calculated maneuver, he was an enigma of sorts. He felt the darkness practically permeate from her. The souls felt it and seemed to desire it, not the darkness but the power it held. They wanted more power in there to keep his control from them and to try to destroy him from within. He wouldn’t let it happen, not today. He spoke softly in reply to her comment.”I saw that earlier, impressive fighting. Mi lady.” He bent his head and kissed her hand gently and dryly before pulling back and letting go.

Goodness she sounded seductive. The way she talked, moved, spoke and the very fact that danger screamed at him made him want to take this challenge. In whatever manner it ended up on. He saw the blank thoughts on his name before it seemed to click in her mind. So she did know of him. That was well to some point. He smiled to her as she spoke of recognition and introduced herself. The name screamed true and yet wrong, the souls in his mind seemed to feel and sense it as did he. He couldn’t place it entirely however. He would research later. He nodded an acceptance and spoke again with his own equal charisma. ” Ah, I believe I have heard of you as well. Miss Valeria Kline.” He tasted her name in the air. It almost seemed as if it rung out slightly when said. It was as if it was delicious and yet interesting at the same time.

He however would not speak directly of how he knew her. Let her assume what she would, if she was as intelligent as he presumed at this juncture. Then she would understand. It was slight maneuvering as if to tease her of a greater challenge. The teasing in her voice as she posed her own question made him grin mischeviously whilst answering.”To hunt and study. To read and speak. “ Then he motioned around him before saying,”And to take out the trash.” He offered his arm to her before speaking once more in an offer,”Care to walk with me, Miss Valeria? I do believe we don’t want to stay here when the police investigate and I enjoy your company on this fine night.” He spoke her name with title of respect and yet her first name. While not quite proper in terms of etiquette, it was still respectful and a bit teasing all on its own. In what direction, no one could say.

Post by Emmelin Thu Aug 16, 2012 11:16 pm

The way they posed seemed to be predator versus predator. A battle between the two near, but not yet started. They paced each other mentally; defense versus defense. Which would launch the first attack upon the defender? A sword fight with eyes, a battle of words unspoken for only a moment. The auras even seemed to clash, yet as he moved onto the territory, it was only an action of tasting scents. His lips met her hand and yes, that scored major points for her. Valeria LOVED when a man had the manners to kiss her hand like was proper. It warmed her to know that not all people in this world were worthless slobs that didn't know how to do anything without a disgusting bellow of what they wanted. No one had the courtesy to ask anymore, it was all demands. Actions like this showed manners and God KNEW how Val appreciated good manners. Those without them, barely got past two minutes before she wanted to rip their eyeballs from their sockets.

Her eyes gleamed with a devilish charm only akin to that temptress aura she had. Violet upon blue met and she showed approval and her guard seemed to inch down only a bit. Good job, Mr Dauthi, her eyes seemed to say in the least offensive ways. It was as if he passed a test and she definitely was glad for that. After all, that meant he obviously wasn't retarded. Alright, maybe this night would be more interesting than most. She was calm as her hand slid away and she grinned, so pleased with this action. So many ways to Val's good side, use your manners and treat her like a lady. After all her tastes were of higher caliber than most.

He spoke upon her, a compliment. OH~! Her lips pulled more into her saucy grin and her eyes lit up. The way he spoke, she couldn't help but outburst. "Please, go on. Flattery will get you everywhere." She seemed to twirl her voice in the usual inviting manner. Not that it was intentional, it was simply instinctual. Habits that never died. Crossing her arms to her chest, showed no hostility. One hand moved to rest beneath her chin while she listened to his worming words. What was he attempting? And what had he heard of her? She knew there was nothing to worry of. There was no way he could track down her real name and even if he had, her name would not be in the Amestrian system. She was deceased in the Esparian one and it wasn't like she did anything in Amestris that required her citizenship. After all, she didn't work, she kept to herself and laid beneath the radar with her actions.

His voice teased her, challenged her. She was definitely intrigued by what he could offer. It would certainly be a night to remember. Her hands moved as he offered his arm, inviting her out. She grinned again. She couldn't get over how charming this man was. Was she falling for a trap? Paranoia.. it always ate her. This left her to second guess her judgement.. but was the worst that could happen? She had left exactly NO clues as to who she was and even if they knew, what could they do? It wasn't their place to take her to the court for her crimes. The few murders there she had committed were expertly hidden and even if they had some sort of hint, she was not in their system.

She took the offer. Her arm reached and elegantly wrapped around his. How giddy she felt at the oddest sensation, yet the feel of his body under her fingertips. A jolt of lightening warmed her. Her eyes closed and she suppressed and whimper of pleasure. The oddest for things pleased her, this was one of them. A smile was presented to him, a challenging grin. "Lead the way, my dear sir." Her words held an accent to them. Of course, she prevented herself from laying her head on his shoulder. That was too much. There was a bold line between creepy and cute. A line she practiced well. As well, Val wasn't as keen on physical touch the majority of the time. "Your own company might amuse me." She winked as if a dare unspoken. The usual games she played, only hers were never a full joke. Depending on the situation created her responses. Who knew what would be the outcome.

Purge Empty Re: Purge

Post by Murazar Dauthi Fri Aug 17, 2012 12:13 am

Oh how he just saw an appreciation for his manners and gentlemanly nature. She was a lady for sure in this regard. One who loved class and flair. One who would ensure a rather interesting night. The approval and the slight decrease in guard was all he needed to slightly decrease his own in the same manner. He liked how she was calm as he was with her own devilish charm and that grin. Her very being permeated seductress to his mind and soul. He however liked the murderous feelings that permeated away from him and towards the goons on the ground that had caused too much self-destructive and pointless havoc. She was more than just a bait and blade, more than just a huntress looking for prey.

The outburst was something of a pleasant surprise, the inviting manner and her face. It seemed to brighten up as if it was the absolute perfect thing he had said. The obvious interest and way she spoke said that he partially unintentionally had struck a beautiful sounding chord in her being. He left mystery and charm with well-done maneuvers that were only normal to him now. This was one of his many beings. One of the most dominant mixed with a few that were not his own to add the diversive nature. Her charm and his own mixed, he was almost sure they thought alike. Or at least parallel. He was unsure if this was a trap he was falling down or that this was for real. Would she seduce him? Kill him, try at least? Or just leave like a ghost and to be seen again perhaps? Who knew.

Finally she took the offer, little hesitation was there. It was actually more of a thinking process she was going through. The look about her bespoke caution to some extent, yet she threw it to the wind like he had. Was she doing that for real? Or as a act? He would find out eventually, if at all. She was quite a show wrapping her arm around his, he felt a bit ecstatic to have such a gorgeous and dangerous lady with him. He of course would still be careful. Her eyes closed and he wondered what exactly just transpired. He assumed something pleasant at the moment, it seemed to be the right thing to think of.The challenging and yet pleasant smile made him return it in his own manner.

This was getting fun. The accent seemed to kick the exotic nature of her further up and into his psyche. The daring comment... Or compliment? Was interesting, she however seemed to be desiring something. Some small act to do, the slightest of hesitation pointed him right off into it. He was like a man who silenced all distractions to hear a pin fall in the room. The wink ensured his next words would be interesting to say the least. If not slightly flirty in return to her. ” And here I was hoping my company would be more pleasing. Than amusing.” He paused lightly before continuing,”Or is that one and the same, Lady Valeria?” He made his smile one that was challenging, mischevious and slightly flirtatious.

As he spoke he was leading them down a small walk across the street and to a street full of places to eat and relax in for a time. As they leisurely walked down the cobblestone walkway. The moon was bright and half full, like a sickle. The environment alone after they had left the bloody playground behind was creating that atmosphere that yelled romance. If not a darker romance or at the least the background of it. He spoke again, his eyes surveying her in a respectful manner that spoke more of an appreciation for beauty than just a horny outlook. ” So my Lady. What are you doing out on this dark night? I would think if you had a date, you might have lost the poor soul.” He obviously mean’t the statement as a joke and the question he expected no truthful answer. He was just probing for a response with his own personality.

Well placed words and slightest of actions. This man was just too good. A most delightful meal, not that she'd eat him. Valeria never stooped to cannibalism, a slight vampirism, yes, but that was only when the demon took over. Sado-masochism made life all the more interesting and the variations of screams usually made her smile like a sick monster. Then again, she was a monster; a cruel and heartless being that enjoyed slowly torturing those who opposed her or the ones that were too boring to keep around. If they provided nothing to her, she sent them all to the same place, hoping maybe Satan would get amusement out of them. Valeria got bored easily, one of her downfalls. She had to constantly search for new ways to amuse herself, since no one was ever up to par with her.

She was one of a kind. Ahead of most by many steps and a strategist that was rarely outwitted. Then again, she never used her real plans and worked on impulse, the adrenaline far more exciting than the plans she sat and created for hours. Besides, it deterred any sneaky bastards who were trying to spy on her plots. It was so much fun to fuck around with people and make them worry about themselves. Make them squirm and writhe in more ways than one. Though, right now, she was in her normal mentality. Her calm demeanor, the need of just company for now. Valeria had spent years alone, she needed company now.

Unintentionally, she yawned. When was the last time she'd slept? Three days? That sounded about right. She'd have to find a safe place to crash and bring her guard dog with her. Her most loyal pet that she couldn't sleep without, like a child's night light. Valeria hated sleeping, it took time.. time she laid in a weakened state. So easily, she could be killed when sleeping. It was not an option, yet her body needed it. Oddly, she still functioned perfectly for a woman who slept maybe three times a week at the maximum. Her mind was getting off topic again. Shepherding it back to where it had been, she found herself holding a man to herself. His arm against her chest with both of her own laced gently, though one simply rested on his arm, almost in an old fashion of her own. It was things like this, that Valeria appreciated. As well, the man wasn't exactly hard to look at. What was HIS story though? Curiosity surely sat in her very being as she always had it.

Pleasing compared to amusing? That was a difficult one, but she grinned nonetheless, a playful gleam in her eyes. "Ah, that's where you're wrong. I am easily amused, but hard to please. I get bored easily." Her voice would state in its own challenging manner. Which was oddly true. Because of her boredom, often times Valeria was never pleased. Amused was more akin to impression, while pleasing was akin to pleasure. That road was not something she wandered down often. After all, most people were eaten by the black widow before they got a chance to please her in any way. Pleasure was so much more than amusement.. Something hard to obtain, hard to maintain and easily lost by even a slight of the wrong word or thought. So much more fickle than amusement and yet more solid. Amusement had a wider range, but the long-term affect was a short experience. Pleasure had a narrow alley line of what could fall into it and yet, it lasted so much longer.

Once done speaking in her mind of pleasure and amusement, she found her attention tugged back to the man. Right, why she was here. The un-date she had. Her eyes rolled and a sigh fell from her lips, obviously unsettled by the thought. A hand ran through her dark brown locks while her face frowned. "Unfortunately, I did have a date for the night, but I fear he didn't show." She let out a sound similar to clicking her tongue. "Some people are so unreliable." Amusement slid onto her face quickly. "Then again, maybe I'm just intimidating." A pause, while she laughed softly. The hand having run through her locks once again rested on his arm and her face turned up to him. "Not a lot of people can keep up with me." Which for all intensive purposes was true. Then again some people were done before the race started. What game she was playing, was always a mystery. Even then, she had no clue what she was doing or saying; impulse. Her reactions were from her soul, she supposed. However, she had manipulated them by spurning the words into the nature of the topic.

She stopped walking a second and arched a brow, "Hopefully I don't scare you off too." Beneath the moon, the oddest of atmospheres, she certainly felt relaxed. However, at any moment it could turn and she would be left to find a new person to play with.

Purge Empty Re: Purge

Post by Murazar Dauthi Fri Aug 17, 2012 3:46 pm

In a way this was a funny sort of irony. Their meeting, it was by no means completely by chance. Plenty of risks and running around, but interestingly enough it wasn’t like anything you’d see in a movie or comic. This was far more interesting to himself, at least at the moment. They were circling each other as if to still try and tell if they had to strike, yet they were having an amusing and delightful time just by talking and interaction. Two monsters that were like walking death-traps that baited those to come to them with an ease that was almost ridiculous.

He wondered how good she really was at manipulation. Was this by design or just on feeling. Either way was only a method and didn’t deter him whatsoever. The only difference was in terms of reactions and pro-action. He liked to combine the elements together and make them blend like a wonderful cake and its icing. He felt as if she was feeding and returning the calm demeanor he himself put out. Was she really so calm or just reacting? Either way still didn’t matter, simply because of one reason. He planned and reacted himself, and he still considered himself at the very least an equal.

Her yawn set him to analyzing her, and he quickly came up with the conclusion she was simply sleepy. It didn’t effect her thinking process or hamper her conclusions. If she was bored she would have ended the little game and dance they played. He did like the feel of her soft arms linked through his in such a feminine manner. They matched in terms of old-worldly manners so far. Both not completely adhering, yet adhering to the rules that mattered. The day dreaming look that was very brief in her eyes only focused his own mind and sharpened it. She had let her guard down for the briefest of moments and he let it pass simply because he didn’t know whether it was worth leaving a blow or not. So far it wasn’t worth it.

He chuckled lightly at her challenging response as he delivered his own in reaction,” Picky lady then. That means you know what you want when you want it.” His tone was slightly in answer to her own challenging tone. The words however were of insight and intelligence. He took something most people would only find the negative and lugged out the rare positive trait. For himself, he felt as if amusement was rarely obtained and pleasure was easily obtained. Sex, Combat and Conversation of intellectual minds was obtained fairly easy. Amusement was like listening to a persons jokes. He was guessing however they were just defining the words differently and it was one and the same for them both.

He grinned upon her words and watched her every move, observing, analyzing, then discerning if it was an act or actually real. He decided finally to just react, his intuition was right more often than not. He replied, his eyes unsettling for most as they seemed to pierce her being and into her soul. His reply was however charming and such as his eyes contradicted it. At least to most, his head was initially tilted as if to get a better look for but a moment. ” I believe most people cannot handle you or wish to be handled by you because of dread or for a feeling of danger."

He smiled again as he paused and spoke once more, his free hand brushing aside an errant hair that was as hard to see as a fishing line behind his ear before letting it swing gently at his side. ” I do believe I can keep up with you...” He left off the unsaid, ‘Or outrace you.’ As it was easily thought of upon the moment, then he continued.” Now then, if you would like. I would like to be your date for tonight. Milady Valeria.” He winked slightly to accompany his question that wasn’t spoken of as if it was a question. A feat few people had the brains to accomplish.

He grinned as if there was an oddity in what she said, an anomaly. He spoke in reply to her wishing comment.”I was actually hoping I wouldn’t scare you off, my dear lady. I have no fear. Only caution to make up for it.” You could almost tell from his very nature fear did not dwell in his mind and soul. If it did, it was so well-hidden and buried it no longer mattered anyway. The slight stop also made him stop before they continued once more to the district of resturaunts. The souls seemed to actually be alternating for once around this woman. Some screamed at the top of their proverbial lungs. Others were deathly silent and some merely at the same level as usual. It was an oddity of a musical cadence in his mind. He found it both soothing and shocking in some manners. Interesting overall.

Post by Emmelin Fri Aug 17, 2012 9:40 pm

His deductions were clever and her eyes showed it. This man proved himself so far as not some trash to be thrown out. That could be made or broken at a second's notice though. At any time he could break and she'd get rid of him. A foundation was hard to earn with her and her trust, even harder to earn. Only one person in this world she trusted and even then, not fully. There was no one in Val's life that wasn't expendable, they all grow to betray her. The way her mind simply showed the ones who lasted longer than others. Maybe this man was fun for now, but later he may as well betray her too. Stab her in the back. After all, this world was one that she was abandoned by her own family. There was nobody then, why would someone be there now?

Sadness hit her for a second, her inner being screaming the story out that she caged. Only a single soul knew and not even the full story. Everyone else she killed and guilt- was that guilt she had felt? At fourteen she'd killed her own parents, even if it wasn't REALLY her fault. She had wanted them dead the day they died. It made her feel conflict. Should she feel bad for killing them? It didn't matter. Those ghosts were suppressed and she was once again with a man who knew nothing of her past. A new start. No one here new of Valeria Diablos or her need to get rid of the heartless bastards that deserved to join her parents in hell. The guilt was gone and replaced by rage; an odd balance so fickle under her weights.

The man had a challenge of his own; checking and then raising the stakes upon two poker faces. Well, this certainly was appreciated, for a woman bored in her world. His face looked around hers as if he wanted a better look at hers then spoke of how he could keep up and even more. Her eyes shone, telling her own 'Oh really, prove it' response. She doubted him, but on purpose. How far would this man go to prove how far ahead he was? The game was always more fun when they were on even playing field. The games that were over before they were done were lovable but after so many, it got so.. pointless. There was no more point in pursuing a done deal. It would come back. No fight was enough lately, especially.. when she wanted to bleed...

He offered to be her date. A wink from his eyes and a further word of him scaring her off. Haha that was fun. Valeria was scared of no person. The ones she should have been afraid of, were all long dead. None left. Her eyes told none of that, though and instead she turned her eyes back on him. Amusement. So easily attained. He was entertaining for now, but who knew how much longer until it wasn't there? Would he remain a constant source of amusement? Or like all others fade away into boringness. The trough was so simply fallen into. Those who made one didn't even realize it, until they reached up to try and break free. By then, it was far too late.

"My date?"
She repeated, as if debating on it. "Hmmm~" Her voice was a soft hum while she fawned fake interest. She knew her answer, but she liked to play hard to get. "Depends on what your intentions are." She was teasing. Would she get a hint on his own mental patterns? It never hurt to ask. She played a new level with her arms tugging at him playfully. "I'm open for tonight, anyways. I guess a little date couldn't hurt."

His eyes seemed to accept her approval for but a moment. His mind noted that she had actually jotted down somewhere his deductions. Being strong in something and showing it around in any possible manner was dangerous. To her he noticed he had to show his cards while she showed hers. If but one or two at a time out of the hundreds they held in their hands. He noticed some sort of sadness. Or guilt even hit her, as if some random memory came flying out of nowhere like a squirrel jumping on your head from a nearby tree. Then just as sudden as its onset it vanished like a puff of smoke in thin air.

He noticed the appreciate she only hinted at from his challenge. The returned challenge just from her expression wanted to set him off on a fast and hurried journey of enjoyment. He however remained as he were if not a bit more excited, as if this was a true challenge or a true opponent. Which could not be discerned. Then she winked and she seemed greatly amused by his own returned comment. They were quite similar, more so than he originally thought. Then he noticed something underlining. She always looked conflicted, it was strange. None of it pertained to himself, it all seemed to be as distant as the ocean as if some philosophical thought or past memory. He had far too many of his own to not recognize the signs in a mirror or window.

He liked the fact that she was playing hard to get, playing that was. She was extremely difficult, but the fact that his personality. Whichever variation or side meshed with hers was his ‘in’. Then she teased him he smiled and winked in return as he spoke once more,”I think you know what my intentions are. You should have already guessed that I like to go as far as I can with the limits.” It was true, but who’s to say that the whole answer was just a cover-up? This was a game of maneuvers, like two powerful wolves who meet and cant decide whether to eat the other, run away, fuck or start a pack together.

Her arms tugged on his playfully and his free hand touched her forearm lightly and stroked it while speaking,” Very well then, what should we eat? I’m in the mood for something i’ve never had before.” They were already in the middle of all sorts of smells wafting in from the nearby buildings that churned food out as if it didn’t run out. He smiled and motioned with his free hand around them. Deciding to give the lady the first pick and if she couldn’t chose then he would.

Purge Empty Re: Purge

Post by Emmelin Wed Aug 22, 2012 11:32 pm

The touch of his hand on her forearm made her hair stand on end. As if some sort of electricity flew through her body. Her eyes were closed and she tried to resist the instinctive blush. What was it that made him so.. so charming? Like a pull into the unknown and maybe- JUST MAYBE- that was what it was. The adrenaline, the drive to battle the unknown. It excited her and entranced her. After all, Valeria had a thirst for knowledge that could rarely be sated. She had to be on top, hold all the control and when somebody impeded that, it made her.. odd. She had to learn better moves, learn the being's weakness, even if she never used it. It was simply a part of her to know just HOW everything worked. What broke the toys she loved to play with. In ways it made her a sociopath, but in others, she was simply a scientist playing with variables.

Here she was though, shivering under the touch of a man she barely knew. It was so rare that sort of thing happened, she wanted to know what made him work. How did he have her chasing this trail of crumbs to a trap. A hunter out-hunted. So.. odd. She wasn't experienced in such endeavors. She didn't fight it though. Val was the type to live for the battle, to throw the inhibitions to the wind. Throw out the plans at last moment and play the game by ear.

He had a very legitimate question. She had to think about it. What did they want to eat? What did SHE want to eat? Her eyes furrowed and she went deep in thought. There were so many choices from bitter to spicy and tart. As if she knew where she was going, she let her legs lead her way, though she only followed him. "Hm.. It depends, really. I could go for some sauce or.. a type of steak." Steak sounded amazing though. she hadn't had one in a while. Money wasn't an issue for her, she made an income that was surprisingly good for no real job. Mainly from knowing her way with words. She wasn't feeling malicious though, so instead of manipulating the man, she would just enjoy a dinner.

"I would rather a steak, but ultimately it's YOUR final decision." That was her opinion, anyways. She would be gleeful if he decided on steak, but should he decide something else, she wouldn't complain. Or maybe she would, but later on. Her head rested on his shoulder while she thought. What was to be for beverage? Alcohol? Was this a rare alcohol day? She had her cocktail dress and high heels that brought her to 5'9 at the highest point. Yes, she would try a glass. It seemed the day called for it. After dealing with treachery by her un-date and brutes, alcohol seemed oddly appealing. "Hmm? Are you a wine person or a beer person, I wonder?" She teased as casual conversation.

He saw the blush barely appear, so he was charming to her. She was just resisting her feelings and using her head. Which he admired, it was something he did quite often rather than not. He felt excited around her, something he had rarely felt. Was it because he found someone so similar of the opposite sex? Or was it simply the fact that she was one of those rare beings who still had manners and enjoyed them as well as he did? He would discover that later and in time as he kept going.

He smiled as he found her eyes furrowing to be very cute as she thought deeply and seriously about his question as if it were life or death on the line. Then she answered he followed the direction, letting her subtly guide him as he pretended to lead. He kept the smile as she said sauce or steak. He figured he could enjoy a steak tonight as well. He hadn’t had anything that so much as resembled good food. He listened to her say that it was his decision. Which was surprising and pleasant. He winked before speaking softly,” I think I could do with a steak as well, I haven’t had the chance to enjoy a fine dinner with a lovely lady in quite some time. “

He let his body and mind lead the way to a steakhouse that was going to be crowded as all hell because of the simple fact that it was super fancy and required blazers and such for men. Of which he was going to ignore. He liked how she rested her head on his shoulder, his heart rate skipping a beat for just a moment. This was like sky diving for the first time or getting shot at for the first time. Scary, fun and immensely excitingly pleasurable. He winked again as she asked a question as if it was only a thought spoken aloud. It made him smile as if he was really enjoying being teased. Few people enjoyed being teased, most enjoyed only dishing it out.

”Neither actually, I prefer whiskey. “ He touched her arm once more as they began to near the steakhouse. Everyone outside of it seemed to be wearing suits or dresses so that at the least they gave the appearance of being rich. He didn’t need to give the appearance; it would only make him a target. ”But since I’m guessing you’re a wine person, I’ll have to have a glass. After all, I can’t let the lovely lady take on a bottle alone can I? It wouldn’t be right.” Alcohol. His old demon and nemesis. The thing that he had held onto for years to keep numbed out from the world. This time however he would control himself. He wouldn’t let it keep latched on like a parasite, like some drunk in a bar on self-pity. Like before. He could handle it this time.

As soon as they reached the entrance he just flashed his military i.d. to the bouncer, who then paled and opened the door for them. As they walked in he simply showed his i.d. to the waiter who immediately proceeded to get the manager to wait upon them. He just pocketed his i.d. back as he looked to his lady and smiled,”Which seat you want in this house, Lady Valeria? I’m a panic corner man myself.” That’s what he liked calling it, the one seat in the building where you saw everything and it took a moment to spot you from anywhere else. Plus no one could sneak up on you. He made it sound as if it was a joke even though it was purely serious.

Purge Empty Re: Purge

Post by Emmelin Sat Aug 25, 2012 11:39 pm

It was agreed. Steak. A plus for her, as she did enjoy getting what she wanted. Then again, who didn't? Everyone liked to get what they wanted, it was just a matter between acting like they didn't or simply submitting to the greedy tenancies each human possessed. She was still human even if at times she didn't believe it. It seemed impossible at times, that she had a humanity to her; a morality. A conscious that she often drowned and the paranoia that replaced the conscious. She was fueled by cunning, control. Her life was all about control. Control the demon, controlling others. Even at the time, she was controlling her instincts that normally longed for death or manipulation.

She had slowed her steps and let the man lead ahead of her. His footsteps guiding her to.. somewhere. All she knew was there would be steak. The quality of said steak was unspecified so she simply assumed they were going to some borderline fast-food place. It was what she was used to. The last minute thing usually put a damper on reservations when she wanted to get things done quickly. After all, she didn't have a lot of patience. An odd thing she'd found about herself. She may have feigned it, but any longer than twenty minutes in a waiting room and she was ready to kill people. That was undoubtedly not a good thing. After all, she was the woman who despised grocery stores with a passion. A store full and two fucking lanes open, lied up to the back. No fucking way. Fuck them and their way of running business. The cashiers never got anything right either. Always, they scanned twice or forgot something. They could notice a stolen candy bar but not someone lugging out a T.V? JESUS CHRIST. The memories that replayed. She LOATHED shopping.

On a separate note, this wasn't shopping. This man was winking, which was much more acceptable. The alcohol mentioned was explained that he was more of a whiskey man. How intriguing and as he stated she was a wine-woman, she laughed. "Actually, I dislike wine and beer. They're both too light and wine is too over rated. I actually prefer stronger stuff like a spiced rum or a vodka type." She laughed softly and grinned. "I do add in a bit of flavor though. Sometimes the flavor isn't good alone." She paused to think, a sheepish smile on her face. "I actually don't drink much. I just figured I'd ask, but if you want we can split some wine."

Being around him made her feel rather talkative. It felt good to socialize with someone on a more than average basis. The simplistic level seemed so drawl and often times her partner would look at her dumb or comments would fly over their heads. Honestly, it was ridiculous, so she'd confide in not talking. The less she spoke to them, the less likely she was to snap their necks. This man was in the major 'brownie points' category which allowed for good conversation and a more comfortable atmosphere.

They approached a nice looking joint, which admittedly surprised her. His hand moving on her arm and sending more chills up her spine. Oh the sensations of the spine were always the most effective. She bit back another blush from the automatic response while her hair stood on end, excited. Oh how she hated and loved the feeling at the same time. Her guard dropped, but never completely. She simply eased herself more against his arm, burying her face in his shoulder. Looking onto the other couples and families so intricately dressed. She fit in, he.. not so much. It didn't matter though, it was interesting to watch him make his way and flash a card.

A second passed and she could have sworn he nearly peed himself before grabbing a waitress. Another flash of a card and another man turned pale, ran and grabbed the manager. Her date turned and asked her where to sit, suggesting the panic corner. Just by the name alone, she couldn't help but giggle. "Sounds delightful to me." Her fingers covered her lips; a dainty and feminine action. She didn't mind where they sat, she was there to simply enjoy herself. A smirk to the man waiting on them as she did not let go of Murazar's arm. Her violet eyes almost teasing the nervousness of the man.

She laughed which sounded a bit musical to his ears. Pleasant. He had to grin at her preferring stronger drinks, then putting a sheepish smile on while saying they could split some wine. He spoke in answer to her,” I’ll have some spiced rum with you, its something I can enjoy as well. After all, if we both dont like wine. Why drink it?” Simple, easy and to the point. He liked her little smiles and laughs, they accented her very well. He’d hate to see her frown or be expressionless all the time. That was the feeling he got from her before when he watched her from before the massacre back there. He could faintly hear sirens in the distance.

Her company was pleasant, there were few enough people to match his intelligence and level of social skill. She seemed to be at least high enough on the bar to make a match for him. He felt like being more comfortable with her as such and because of that. After all, when could you find a classy intelligent woman who pulverized idiots into the ground and was beautiful? Rarely. He however was still cautious and on guard, all of those quality’s might be true. That didn’t mean she was just being on a date with him, this could result in death on his end. You never knew.

He noticed her hair standing on end, the only sign of excitement he visibly caught from her. He felt like she would blush if she let it happen. He complimented her lightly,”If you blush, it would bring out your beauty more.” Couple that with a smile and he hoped she would blush more. It was nice. He noticed and relaxed more as she eased into his arm and her face in his shoulder. Then they began to make way, him creating a massive path with everyone scrambling about. People all over looked over wondering, “who the hell are they to enter like that? “ and “Who the hell is he to dress like that and get that service?”

She giggled at the nickname for the corner he called it. After her lovely action and words he motioned with his free hand and walked to his corner with her. The waiter following in their wake rather than leading them. He liked how she was teasing the waiter behind them as if actually trying to make him pee himself. Which would be hilarious all around, regardless of who it was watching. He pulled his arm free of hers like water flowing from a jar and pulled out a chair for her to sit and watch him as he took the corner to watch everything else. After she sat he would push her chair back in comfortably and seat himself.

How could she be more beautiful? She thought about it playfully. It was a flattering thought, though. The way he smiled at her and spoke sweet words did earn him a bit of a smile from the temptress and her violet eyes shone with a satisfied gleam. Yes, she enjoyed those compliments, the flattery was better than the dining. She could devour every single one and still not feel full. A hint of rose flickered briefly, yet was buried as stray strands of her hair fell forward over half her face. She disliked when her hair did that. It was annoying to see the brown locks block off her eyesight and blind her from the world about her. Naturally, she simply moved a hand through her tresses and pushed them back.

The waiter looked pale and sickly. Poor man. She wondered if she had hit on him if he would kill over. He was so weak.. then again it seemed her date had a reputation. Oh well, it happened. Her eyes turned back to the man with a smiled that showed she was enjoying herself. Was it true or was it fake? Sometimes even she, herself couldn't tell the difference. The man was a quick learner though. She could just tell by the way he was interacting. The fact he noticed something simple. He knew she loved the way his hand moved on her bare arms. Otherwise he wouldn't have done it twice with that smile. It was a challenge almost. It rose the stakes for the night.

As they reached their spot, simultaneously they were disentangled. He pulled his arm away while she released him and straightened himself. Chairs were pulled and one was offered to her. Oh the manners again. She smiled softly, approving of it. She slid into place and scoot herself forward, a hand outstretched to the waiter. In the second she took her menu she intentionally brushed her hand against his, then gave her look that almost seemed as if she would eat him. Why not? It was fun to terrorize people sometimes. Rolling her eyes after, she flipped it open to the first page and became immersed. She had the general idea of what she would get, but some smaller details had to be made.

Her eyes rolled over the choices. Desserts, she contained her inner child and switched to the next page, away from the temptation. Her eyes rose to the man across from her and she laughed softly. "You're quite the charmer, hm?" A slight accent flavored her words, barely detectable. As if she caught onto him, but she merely laughed it off. Hm.. now what to do for casual meal conversation. She was the kind who could dine in silence, but was her date? She of course wouldn't let him leave feeling ignored. She had morals against that. She'd had dates that were far less attractive and yet she treated them all just about the same. Yes, she WAS picky and yet at the same time, she wasn't.

As if she had OCD, she unrolled the silverware and rearranged them as according to the proper state. That always annoyed her about the restaurants. It was quite possible they lost a lot of silverware from just laying it out and the petite packages made most women giggle and swoon. Valeria found it annoying, a little pet-peeve.

Her violet eyes scaled his body again, taking in all it could, while shutting her menu. A trained man, who didn't look a whole lot older than herself. Her eyes batted a couple times and she laughed softly, to a silent joke. "Not a smoker, I take it?" Please god say no. She really couldn't stand smokers and the last couple she ran into she had brutally burned with their own cigarettes. It was something she utterly hated, DESPISED. Most were so arrogant and ignorant. Blowing smoke into the faces of others as if it were some sort of sexy thing. Watching someone exhale chemicals that were killing them? Not attractive at all. And man, did it smell. Not like regular smoke. Fire.. pleasant memories for a second. No. She was NOT a pyromaniac... so she'd say.

He saw that the flattery was working, although his was not for any true intent other than an honest compliment. It was easier to find details about someone and compliment their attributes that stood out from the rest. It was honest and real, something few people understood. He chuckled lightly as her hair fell over in front of her and blocked her vision; she was kinda cute pushing them back. Quite elegant as well. He commented lightly,” Hair giving you trouble?” Its light and just a touch of different waters that were nearby. As if he was just looking for boundaries and such, but in a careful manner that bespoke skill rather than clumsiness.

The stakes were continuing to rise, especially as she was smiling in a rather interesting new way. It resembled her previous smiles, just a little bit different. Was it false or still real? It was difficult to tell, he’d have to wait and see. Play and watch. This was like two cats playing games instead of a cat and mouse game. He liked yet again that he was correct about her liking manners; it was something to keep in the back of his head. He held a hand against his face in such a way that the waiter couldn’t see it but she could just catch a glimpse as he took the menu. It was a mischievous grin that was bordering on laughter, the look she gave the waiter made him want to just start laughing out of his mind. He however controlled himself simply because it was impolite to draw more attention than he had already with his presence alone. It wasn’t classy.

Afterwards he decided to settle on something rather similar to what they would have and put the menu down and off to the side.

The slight hint of the accent made her a bit more delectable and a tease to his more curious nature. He winked at the compliment and smile slightly before saying,”A wonderful compliment coming from you.” His eyes alone said “thank you”. He however didn’t let it get to his head in terms of pride or arrogance, it wasn’t worth it. Her laughing it off as if it was a joke kept the smile on a few more moments. As if he enjoyed her laughter all by its self.

Almost in unison he placed his silverware in the correct corresponding places. Then discarded to the side the silverware he wouldn’t require and rearranged it. Slightly different, more practical as well. He didn’t like all the extra clutter of silverware and wished that the waiter would pick them up along with the menus if possible, he highly doubted the poor kid would remember to do that since he was half-way to shitting his pants.

He felt her eyes look upon him, and then as he finished placing his silverware he looked upon her as she shut her menu. Giving her a moment to take him in without him interrupting. The soft batting of the eyelashes and laughing softly made his hair stand on end before dropping back down almost as fast. It was a warning, truth to be told the question sounded like a yes or no to the entire evening rather than just a simple question. Interesting, he decided to stick with the truth. He raised an eyebrow and smiled ” Not at all, I just like to create fire.” He moved the candled from the center to the center of the side and snapped his fingers to create a small flame on the wick. The precision and silence alone without even looking at it was a testament to his potential strength and power. He was taking a chance on the truth here, plus he was revealing his type of alchemy. Which honestly wasn’t that big of a deal anymore. It was widely known he was a fire alchemy user and that the rumors about his soul stealing were already spread. It was hard to hide the rumors that were true. The only good thing was that his abilities were hidden. It saved him many times over. Now he awaited her answer with a mischievous smile.

" Hair giving you trouble?” She laughed softly at the thought. Yes, her greatest nemesis was her own hair. The way it indignantly refuses her every whim. Aa.. the acursed hair that just had a mind of its own. She sought to smite it and it only grew more persistant in its quest to bind her. Eh, it happened more often than not. The twitch of her nose showed a bit more amusement, before she watched him more. The way he reacted, the way he spoke. It truly was a scene to behold. Such mannerisms had become lost to the world. To see someone so easily following them and being a bit flurty as well, it was endearing to say the least. Val liked it and glowed with an enjoyment she didn't always have.

”A wonderful compliment coming from you.” A wink and a charming smile later and she found herself further entranced by the white-haired beauty. Perhaps.. Just perhaps he would prove more than amusing. Maybe she would be entertained and maybe even pleased? She couldn't tell at the moment. Things were still too gray, yet she was fine with that. Her purple eyes shadowed each distinct figure and aspect of his body. How appealing.. how.. different. There weren't many white haired people she had met. The ones before were simply Ayden and that military official she didn't know.

"
Not at all, I just like to create fire.” The showing off had begun. Seas of relief sank upon the woman. The night could go on. No smoke, no worries of burning people and best of all, no smoke. Her satisfaction with his answer was obvious through the way she grinned at him. The fire created on the candle was most amusing. Back home, the man would have been murdered on the spot, but this was Amestris. Alchemy wasn't forbidden like at home and there was no inquisition to further execute him on spot. She was of course glad for that, because having your date murdered was a serious downed in most cases. ..MOST cases.

"I see." She murmured with a trill of enthusiasm. "I dislike smokers, tis why I asked." The moment of tension long since slipped past and instead, she seemed happy as a loon. Beaming, grinning and simply waiting for the waiter to return for their orders. In fact, why was he so terrified that he hadn't even asked for their drinks yet? Her eyes turned to rest expectantly on him, wondering when he'd get the hint. Some people were just so... simple.
