I'm off to see the Wizard!
{{Note:
South City was one of the most lively places she had ever seen, and it was certainly the warmest to be sure. Her usual gothic lolita style had been adjusted for the heat with a few less layers, a garter belt to hold up her tights that were white to match with little navy blue bows at the top. Her skirt extended to her knees with a little ruffle along the bottom and accenting navy blue stripes extending in two rows up the bottom of the skirt. You could tell that she was wearing something to help poof out the skirt, but it wasn't certainly visible unless someone pulled up her skirt or she fell. The bow about her waist was a thinly stripped white and navy blue tied to perfection, a lacy longer-short sleeved shirt underneath her dress. It too had accenting navy blue lines about the bottom of the sleeve above the ruffle, and on the folded down neck. The buttons were the same shade of blue.
She carried a white, mostly solid parasol with lace edging, the handle and core a light cherry wood. It was open and shielding her pale features from the warm sun of this beautiful city, her black wings folded as tight as could be to her body. The feathers were rustling impatiently, wanting to stretch and expand except that they couldn't. Not in a crowded place like this. Today she had decided to explore this amazing place! She both wanted to sight-see, and look for any wizards. She really really wanted to accomplish her quest and be able to return to her papa, and her home country. Unless Wolfy would want her to stay here? She couldn't imagine that he would, shouldn't the Head of Intelligence be in their country of origin? It wasn't like she wasn't doing her job while she was here, she was diligently filing her paperwork and employing one of the pirates help! She was a delightful woman with purple hair and crimson eyes, and she could speak to robots! Or at least.... thats what it seemed like to Shokolat.
Her white heels clicked softly in the pavement as her iridescent eyes seemed to shimmer violet at this particular moment, her eyes looking from stall to stall at the various wares that were being sold. Some things were familiar, other things weren't. She certainly drew stares with her wings and albino features, but she didn't really mind. She was used to that. Her long white hair was pulled back into two braids, blue ribbons tied at the base of them, a lacy headband in her hair with blue accenting. A little white backpack held the essentials of her things as she wandered about aimlessly, slowing as she seemed to approach a larger square that was bustling with people. But what caught her eye the most was the largest grouping of people that were clearly watching someone towards the center of the square. What could it be? A street performer? Striding forward, she slowly approached the group of people, having to slow down as she had to pass through the crowds to get there, wanting to be extra sure not to hit anyone with her wings. A face full of feathers wasn't a pleasant thing in the least bit!

Re: I'm off to see the Wizard!
Magic was easy, or so Bronzes father had always claimed, it was misdirection, flashing lights and cheep and not so cheap props. In fact his father had once said he could teach a chimp to do magic, and to prove it he had(Bobo the magic ape was still talked about all these years later....In all actuality that monkey may have surpassed his father in fame...It was a fucking monkey that did magic tricks!!!), the part that was actually hard and took not only practice but an inborn talent was the art of showmanship. When and how did you smile? Frown? Flourish? When was interest in the show flagging? And maybe most importantly when did you bring in the big guns....When did you prestige? Luckily for him not only had he been born into a family of showmen, he had been born into a family of Romani who where not only known for their own showmanship, but for the spectacular illusions, and props they made(Among other less savory things like death curses, the evil eye, and well assassination.).
Today, Bronze was dressed the part of the Romani wizard(Minus the goofy facial hair) with his beaded vest, head scarf, long flowing pants and piercings going up the side of his left ear(Most of which where fake, but no one could tell the deference), and his makeup was done in such away that it made him seems almost ghostly. His feet where encased in rather simple saddles made of leather and wood. All in all he was the ideal image of a royal vagabond. To say he played the part well would have been an understatement, his accent was spot on, his eye contact intense and for the most part he was silent but when he spoke the voice sounded disembodied and it was always accompanied by bright flashing lights. His father would have said he was juicing the special effects, but hey the crowed was eating it up....And thats honestly what mattered the most!!
So he stood there in a center of a rather large crowed doing trick after amazing trick, everything from the vanishing person, to teleportation(That one was a doozy it required not only alot of set up...but some rather harsh set up) to controlling fire balls and making shadow people appear and dance. But all that was nothing compared to his last trick, climbing a ladder made purely out of fire(Or so it seemed). In actuality it was a vary strong, thing invisible wire set up that allowed it, but no one needed to know that little tid bit of info!! So with some rather swift alchemy, he made what appeared to be a burning ladder from thing air and started to "Climb" it. Once he reached the top he smiled at the gathered crowed, "jumped" Down from the top of the ladder and bowed to toe gathered crowed."Thank you for watching i hope you enjoyed the show". He didn't put out a collection hat, he didn't wait for applause, he just started walking away....

Re: I'm off to see the Wizard!
Shokolat was completely entranced by this oddly dressed man before her performing his tricks. She had never seen anyone like him before, at least not in person. Sure she had read stories that described people with their flowing clothes, jewelry, and interesting hats. Gypsies were what registered to her mind. But her pale brows could not help but furrow at how.... pale.. he seemed. Was he alright? Healthy? He did not look healthy to her. Though he was so lively! And she had never seen such tricks before. How did he vanish so suddenly? How did he suddenly appear over there? Why, there was only one explanation to her. He was a wizard which she sought!! That had to be it right? Had to had to HAD TO!
Her suspicions were only confirmed as he seemed to climb a ladder made of fire! How..... How?! She couldn't even comprehend it and was certainly the most enthusiastic to clap as he jumped from its heights. With all his wondrous tricks, could he..... could her quest finally come to an end? Oh papa.... would she get to see him soon? The "fire" made her eyes sparkle like gems, the color swirling between albino pink and violet as her wings folded even tighter to her body to avoid those flames. If they caught on fire, it would be the end of her. She just knew it. "Thank you for watching i hope you enjoyed the show". Ah! He was leaving! No!
For once in her life, Shokolat actually pushed a couple of people out of the way as her hand reached out to touch this wizard who could answer all her hopes and prayers. "WAIT!" She cried, her voice beginning to get lost amongst those who were leaving now that the show was done. Oh god this could hurt.... Her wings suddenly spread and forced people to give her room, flapping them a couple of times as she ran forward in her tall shoes. Just a little.... AH! CONTACT! She stumbled a little but did not fall, her grip surprisingly light against his shoulder even though her hand was firm upon him. "Please wait... I.. " Oh goodness. She had been so rude! Her wings immediately shrank against her tiny form, her hand lowering away from him as she curtsied and did not rise. Not until he said so. "Great wizard I must speak with you. Please forgive my rudeness, but its.. urgent. Um... Is there.. perhaps somewhere private we could speak?" She asked in a clear, if not slightly uncertain, voice. Hesitantly her eyes raised enough so she could look at him, blushing in embarrassment at the slight scene she had caused.

Re: I'm off to see the Wizard!
Ahh yes......That was a job well done, he not only left them clapping and giggling, but screaming and cursing? Wha......What? Did he start an angry mob? Where calling him a witch? What...What did he do?!?!?!?!?!?! He honestly had no idea and for what ever reason he could here the flapping of ravens wings....Yes he knew they where a ravens ...The Morigan was coming for him!!! The lady of death!!! The mistress of battle.....THE MORIGAN AND AN ANGRY MOB!!!!! Ohh this was just his lucky day!!!!WAIT!! No no he wasnt going to wait!!! How could anyone even suggest something like that? He was about to die!!! So with out a glance back words he picked up his pace some and tried to get a little distance between him self and the rushing crowed(Not that he heard a rushing crowed, but he was shure it was there none the less).
Finally he was home free or so he thought but then....But then a hand closed on his shoulder and he could feel his soul leaving his body, he could feel his heart stat to slow as his essence was drained....He could feel....None of that. What the fuck? All he could actually feel was a soft hand on his bare shoulder and a slight draft......Okay maybe he shouldn't drop acid right before a show... Because as soon as he was done he always had the most vivid hallucinations.... He hadn't heard the wings of a raven, and an angry mob wasn't about to tear him to shreds....."Great wizard I must speak with you. Please forgive my rudeness, but its.. urgent. Um... Is there.. perhaps somewhere private we could speak?"
Hold on wizard? Maybe he was sill hallucinating...But the hand didnt change and the feeling of a presence behind him hadn't changed ether so.....It must be real....He turned slowly a smile slipping over his features (the hand looked cute and it was best to make good first impressions with people who had cute hands) and he put a sparkle in his eyes. The first thing that hit him was the fact that she was cute (Lolita being one of his more...ahem favorite mods of dress) the second thing that hit him was the fact that she did indeed have raven wings.....Ah well if he hadn't been wearing the makeup he would have looked like a ghost right then......But with it he managed to only look slightly startled."I...i think youve gotten me mixed up with someone else"
Of course she had...The Morigan was after a wizard!! And he was just a humble(Not so humble) Magician and alchemist.....What could a goddess want with him? He was no warrior she had no claim to his soul!! But he wasn't about to say that!!
"But if you'd like to talk anyways...Well im sure i can find us someplace to relax..." Ohh god....ohh god he was hitting on a goddess of death!!! WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!?!?!?!?!?! He blamed the drugs.....And the fact that this bloody goddess was a HOTTIE!! That just wasn't fair!!! So he winked, bowed and looked his death in the eye.My names Marcus...But you can call me Bronze". Yes...it had to be the drugs....Only they could make a man so stupid....He beat him self inside his own head then....Fucking Drugs...

Re: I'm off to see the Wizard!
AHH! HE WAS RUNNING AWAY!! Why was he running away?! She gave chase, her wings flapping helplessly at the air as if to make her take flight. But she would never take flight. So she ran as hard as she could, somehow managing to follow him until she FINALLY caught up with him. Her delicate bones were throbbing, angry at her for the sudden exertion that they were not made for. Panting, she bent over a bit and braced her hands on her knees, willing for the pain to stop. It didn't matter if she was accustomed to it, it was something that still was an annoyance. Her eyes appeared more violet at this point in time as she stared up at him, forcing herself to straighten as he turned to face her. His smile made her believe that he was quite healthy and he was just wearing makeup to look like a zombie or ghost, taking that as her sign to stop curtsying. "I...i think youve gotten me mixed up with someone else" Her expression fell, panic filling her, had she gotten it wrong?
No.... No she couldn't have gotten it wrong, could she? He had just performed magic in front of her very eyes! He had to be one of the wizards she was looking for! But.... she couldn't be so positive now. Biting her lower lip, she lowered her eyes to the ground, her wings drooping ever so slightly even as they hung close to her small frame. "But if you'd like to talk anyways...Well im sure i can find us someplace to relax..." Blinking, those were words that Shokolat did not expect to hear, her eyelids closing a couple more times before she stared at him with a look of surprise. Wh... why? Well... if he wasn't the one she was looking for, maybe he could point her in the right direction. Yes, yes that was an excellent idea! She found herself blushing at the wink, watching as he bowed to her like a proper gentleman should to a lady. Now she couldn't decide if he had proper manners or not! For one sort of counteracted the other.... Oh goodness... My names Marcus...But you can call me Bronze."
An interesting name. "I'm Shokolat Anguissola, but Shokolat is fine. Perhaps you can point me to a wizard then? I really need a wizards help and I'm still new to this country. I would greatly appreciate it." She answered softly, praying that he could aid her on her quest for it seemed as if it would continue. No! She would find a wizard, he or she would be able to fix her, and then she could go home to papa!

"I'm Shokolat Anguissola, but Shokolat is fine. Perhaps you can point me to a wizard then? I really need a wizards help and I'm still new to this country. I would greatly appreciate it." Now....Setting aside the fact that she was looking for a wizard....He could have sworn he had heard that name before....On a post card? No....From a friend perhaps?Maybe but he didn't think that was it ether. Maybe they had met before, but some how he didn't think that was likely, how could he forget a character like this one? Gothic lolita dress and shoes, pale skin that looked(And felt) as smooth as porcelain, and well she had wings, thats not something you forget. All in all he had a hard time believing she was for real. " Well i cant say i know any wizards...Could you mean alchemists by any chance? They could be considered wizards of a sort and if your looking for an alchemist, well youve found one!"
It was true, an alchemist could do wonderful things that could seem like magic if seen from the out side, hell they had once been called wizards way back in the day...But Why would she still be using that antiquated term? She seemed...Slightly out of place standing there, like a person out of time and place. Still he could not place that name!!! It was driving him crazy!! Shokolat Anguissola......Shokolat Anguissola.......A unique name, for a unique person....so why couldn't he place it? He would have blamed it on the drugs but.....No no it was more then likely the drugs.
"And i just got here a little while ago as well!!" He smiled his most dazzling smile, the smile he used to put people at ease, the smile that had won him more then a few conquests in his day."I got in from Gelemorté my self, been wondering the streets here for two or three weeks now"
Well more like two or three months but he was not going to let that little piece of information slip...IT could get him in more then a little bit of trouble, and he just hated trouble....Well trouble of that sort at least others he was just fine with, but he never liked dealing with the police force's of other nations it just got messy. Speaking of messy the summer heat was finally getting to his and he could feel sweat start to run threw his makeup.....[color=red]"Do you mind if we take this some where a little cooler Shokolat? I feel like im about to melt!!" He laughed a little then...Maybe he was a witch....That could explain a lot!!

Re: I'm off to see the Wizard!
Though... wait a moment... she knew that name from somewhere. " Well i cant say i know any wizards...Could you mean alchemists by any chance? They could be considered wizards of a sort and if your looking for an alchemist, well youve found one!" Her confusion switched tracks as now she was puzzling over what he said. What was it with these people? Alchemists brewed potions and stuff! Not do crazy things like wizards! They didn't cast spells. "I've had this discussion before with someone from this country. To me, alchemists deal with potions and the like. Wizards cast spells. He claimed the same thing you did, and that there were also healers called "alkahestrists." They are white wizards to me." She sighed lightly and bit her lower lip, turning slightly away from him as she tried to puzzle out this constant discrepancy between what she knew, and what these people knew. So.... wizards were alchemists in Amestris. That seemed to be the only logical conclusion and he had even said so himself.
Unease began to fill her for reasons unknown to her, the feeling like a terrible storm was brewing in her mind growing until he spoke again. "And i just got here a little while ago as well!!" His smile banished away that darkness that seemed to encroach upon her mind, returning her to the land of pure light that was her life at this point in time. "I got in from Gelemorté my self, been wondering the streets here for two or three weeks now." He was from Gelemorté? Marcus... known as Bronze... Oh yes! She remembered now! "Really? I was in West City, but I followed my friend here. Can you believe he is an actual pirate?" She clapped her hands together, brightening completely from her moment earlier. "I hope you don't mind that I switch to our native tongue. Do you happen to know Cerisian?" She asked him before she realized something. She was excited, and she was rambling. A blossom of color rose to her cheeks as she cleared her throat, "I apologize, I just threw a lot at you."
He did not seem the worse for wear though, except for his make-up. She had tentatively looked up to him and noticed the streaks of pale and color that were running down his skin. "Do you mind if we take this some where a little cooler Shokolat? I feel like im about to melt!!" Her eyes went wide in shock at herself. How could she just accost this poor man in the middle of the street and incidentally force him into discussions in heat like this?! She was truly losing her manners! "Oh! Of course! I'm so sorry. Where do you have in mind?" She hoped it was somewhere that could fit her wings otherwise that could get... awkward. Very fast.
