      DESCRIPTION:
        → Have you ever felt dozens of pairs of eyes upon you? No? Well, then it might be alittle hard to relate to Kasumi because she knows that feeling all too well. From admirrer's examining her curvacious frame, height, and long flowing black hair, to the judgemental stares of her peers as she competed to get to where she is today. Her back is always straight and tall, posture perfect as her oddly blue eyes (her fathers doing) stare out calmly at a crowd. They can be as hard as ice, and as gentle as a flowing stream depending on the situation or the person involved. Her lips are petite and the color of sakura blossoms, either pursed in a thin line, or warm in a small demure smile.

Her body may seem slender and squishy, it is, in truth, hiding the muscle that lies beneath. She has trained all her life with the sword, and it reflects upon close inspection. Her hair is technically black, but no matter what, it always seems more like a very deep purple instead, the length flowing down to at least the base of her plump rump. Her bangs both frame her face, and peak just between her eyes so they peer out quite clearly from behind her hair. Her blush usually just barely tinges her cheeks, and she always just has an air of cute, at least until she is serious and down to business. Then... she is far more intimidating than one would think upon initial inspection.

Her clothing choice can vary quite widely from ripped black leggings (that aren't see through thank you VERY much) with a white off the shoulder shirt, to a garter belt with black stockings, a short dress with a slit up the side anyways, black gloves, a black leather collar, and distinctive black combat boots. Basically, she can go from dominatrix worthy to a proper lady and modest. Oh, she also has a softspot for yukata and other kimono's.

        PERSONALITY:
        → One can do their best to be the best daughter one can be all their lives.... or they could rebel. Kasumi has been both, and her parents have come to accept who and what she is. She is a girl whom would have fitted perfectly into the crowd of the Moulin Rouge. A girl of the bright lights, the cries in the middle of the night, of can-can dancers. She practically exhales in a room, and men sigh in the dreams of possibilities she seems to exude naturally. She loves looking and feeling sexy without being terribly open about it. Thus came her hobby of finding sexy underwear. She could wear that underneath a turtle neck and long skirt and still feel like a million bucks. This doesn't mean she'll go out looking for a fresh bed every night (so to speak ^_~), but she does love a good roll in the hay much to her parents chagrine.

But thats just how she is. A confident young woman whom doesn't always listen well to the directions given to her, or imposed upon her. She did well throughout school, she got her high grades, she did well in ROTC. They had no room to complain with what she did in order to unwind. This was also Kasumi gained a vague understanding and appreciation for the criminal underworld that existed beneath the polished surface of Aerugo. She wouldn't go so far as to say she really condoned everything, but she at least gained perspective. She worked as a hostess for a while, and boy did she make good dough from it. It reinforced the lesson of being highly aware of your surroundings, people, place, or atmosphere.

Now while a girl loves her fun, she also loves the structure that training with her katana gives her. The sense of family, an honor code, a harmony to the chaos. Her job as a police woman offers the same calm and... well.. warmth. She really enjoys helping people, and helping the community. It doesn't hurt to work out some frustration by beating some heads in either, hehe. Her parents are proud of her in any case, and that is one of the things that satisfies her. That, or a good cup of tea and a book. Thats always a welcome thing as well. Yes, she is a girl who feels and acts much older than she is. As most humans are, she's complicated.

        HISTORY:
        → It's never easy being born into a military family, and the Sasaki household was no different. Her mother was a ninja, and her father had been a general. They had very high expectations of their daughter from the minute she was born. Aye, straight A's and enrolled early into combat classes. Yet she felt no resentment towards her parents. Quite the contrary, she seemed to have some sort of abnormal understanding of the situation. Mom and Dad are a certain way. They expect me to be like them. If I am like them, my life will be easier and better.

So she bore through it, the endless classes, the bruises, the cuts, the social exile she imposed on herself. Oh she had friends in school, especially middle school and onward. She had it all. Money, intelligence, power.... but it was boring. Very boring. That was why while in high school, she began to take a little more time for herself doing things that she wanted to do. Occasionally going out late with friends, karaoke places, and the popping of her cherry in junior year. When she first started dating, her parents weren't quite sure how to react. At first they chastised her saying it would distract her and she'd just end up pregnant, but then they seemed to realize that having a romantic relationship was actually, god forbid, HEALTHY. So they permitted it. Kasumi - 1. Parents - 0.

She did go to college and enroll in criminal justice as well as the ROTC program, though not necessarily for the reasons her parents thought she was. They were expecting her to follow in their footsteps, join the military, yada-yada-yada but she had a bit of her own spin on that thought. Oh she'd be pseudo military alright. College was when she really began to rebel even though she was at one of the most prestigious universities in Aerugo. After all, she didn't live with her parents anymore. She stayed in the dorms, and during breaks she remained in an apartment nearby with other ROTC friends because they wanted freedom. It was when she turned eighteen that she took up a job at a local hostess bar, and boy was that one of the best decisions of her life EVER. Men drooled over her, she got massive tips, and indulge in some sides of humanity that she didn't get to normally see. Oh sometimes it was like working for a pimp, but it really wasn't that bad. It was fun when you could point out all the flaws of the establishment and then blackmail your boss into letting you continue to work on your own terms. Hehe!

She graduated from college with Summa Cum Laude much to her parents pride, and they had come to accept this rebellious streak in their daughter. Oh aye, they knew. They weren't dumb or blind. She would sort out her life like she wanted to, and she was even going into law enforcement. She had been an intern during her senior year to the police and she knew that was what she wanted. She had ended up on a case where there was a shoot out aaaand that was when she discovered her weakness for the battlefield, her love for it. Her late birthday threw some people off, but she was hired with ease into the force. She couldn't be happier. At least... until her father died in the last RIOTE war. He shipped off and didn't come home. It was... very sobering for her. But her mother and her are sticking through it, though she is far gentler with her than she used to be since they both hurt. They will overcome it, as they have every other obstacle. Given their lines of work, her mother is used to it, and Kasumi will soon be. Death is a part of life. Just like where there is shadow, there is light. So is the dichotomy of life as it goes ever onward.
