Once upon an Orphanage
At this point Luc only knows Rouen and a little bit of Cretan
Long ago in a land called Xing there was a girl. A small girl that no longer had a home or a family. Her body had been captured by the waves of cascading seas and she had luckily survived being swept away. Her mind reeled and her brain seemed to spasm a bit. Where.. was he? One minute she was on the boat.. sleeping next to him and the next.. "URURI!" Her voice had screamed as she reached for him. Her small fingers aching to reach his. Her fingertips just out of his reach before the salty water swept her way. She was gagging and flailing in attempts to swim in the wild water before a drift dragged her under the water. Her hands flailing and reaching. She tried to gasp for air and water flooded in. Was she going to die? The water sure made her think so. A black unconsciousness filling her mind. Death.. she didn't want to die... She was terrified as her sleepiness was slowly covering her eyes.
Luckiness was there as she would be swept over her mind. She was just lucky that another ship was by. Her body floating and her body soon grabbed by the lone fishermen. They took her body to Xing and concerned, dropped her off at a hospital. She was quickly patched up and soon she was placed in an orphanage. Yet she was unable to give anything other than her name. They assumed she was from Gelemorte due to her language and how she could only speak in its context.
Sadly Lucrezia was not accepted so easily by the other orphans. They picked on her because she looked so different. Her face, her body structure and hair color. She looked simply odd, like a white sheep among the black ones. Yet Luc was immediately ready to jump into the battle. Meeting new people was fun even if they bullied her and she didn't realize it. That day, they had decided to steal her food and shunned her from the bench out back. SO that day, Luc simply sat under a tree, hugging her knees to her stomach. Her eyes were drooped and sad a moment, but instantly she smiled and gazed off into nothingness. Everything would be okay.. she hoped. Maybe one day she would run into Ururi again! This made her so much happier!
Even if it was her third day not eating and she wore rags since the other kids took her clothes. She was poor, but that meant things could only get better. While receiving glares from the other kids, Lucrezia simply got up and chased a squirrel for a good ten minutes until she tripped on a rock and cried for another ten while her knee bled. That made everyone look away from her, so she was twenty feet from the other kids, on her knees and crying. "BWAHHHHH! OUCH! MY KNEE!" She would shout out in her home language.

Re: Once upon an Orphanage
Ah yes, the day had been most lovely today. Ogihci Masu walked down the road from a quite successful concert that had caused him to come from his home in the East City Slums, where his beautiful wife and two kids reside. He still held deep regrets for having to give up the other of their sons but... sadly it had to be done. His wife couldn't choose and it was left up to him. The decision had quite literally destroyed him, though he was a man and still happy most of the time. He was still a shadow of his former self. But, from that turmoil came the beautiful music he played. He would never forget his son, he hoped he was living well. As the 29 year old continued down the pathway, violin container and backpack in hand he heard the strange sound of crying. Not just crying but... Rouenian?
What was a speaker of Rouenian doing in Xing and why were they crying on such a glorious day? Curiosity got the better of him as he went searching for the voice. His search caused him to look over a fence at a young girl who seemed to be crying and holding her leg. Oh dear she must have hurt herself. The poor dear... In a single bound Ogihci lepted the fence and jogged over to the young girl. "Whats seems to be the problem here?" He asked legitimately worried about the young girl. He spoke in Rouenian to calm the girl with the language of what he assumed were her people, by her appearance and the cries he had heard earlier.
He then observed the young girls leg. Oh this would never do. A skinned knee was not something one simply joked about. "Oh dear I see. Well no need to throw a fit, this is perfectly fixable." He said with smile on his face and playfully poking her nose to distract her from her leg and her tears. Taking off his vest he had been wearing over his shirt he began to tear it up into little strips that were more manageable. He also left one big one. He also took out a bottle of water and soaked one of the smaller ones. "You want to see something cool?" He said with a sly grin on his face waiting for a response. Then suddenly he said, "Look confetti!" He flung the small pieces of cloth he did not wet and allowed them to fall.
Of course this was meant to distract her as he quickly cleaned the wound with the wet strip and bandaged it all up with the bigger one. By the time she would realize it, here wound would be all gone. Of course he was not done there. As she would realize that she had a bandage on her leg now he would give it a kiss. After all, kisses made all owies better didn't they? He then would give her a much needed hug. "See? That wasn't so bad now was it?" He said with a smile in his voice and upon his face. He would then realise her from the hug and ruffle her hair a bit. He would continue to speak Rouenian to her until she decided otherwise. Had to keep her in good spirits. Especially after the fall she must have taken. Maybe it was because he was a father but, he was a softy.

Re: Once upon an Orphanage
It seemed so long that Lucrezia sat there crying by herself. Her eyes closed with the tears cascading down her pale cheeks. Her hands covered her eyes as she tried to hide the tears and she did so well as no one even came to her. It had hurt a lot and her knee was bleeding just a bit, but for her age it seemed a lot worse than it was. Yet a sound came to her ears and she would jump. At first she was terrified of the man. He was much bigger than her. His body of course that of an adult as compare to her who was only in second grade. Well actually she was in kindergarten because nobody understood a word she said. It had only been a month since she started in Xing and yet she didn't quite know any Xingese yet.
Lucrezia stared with wide eyes and scooted back a bit when the man came to her. Would he hurt her? She rarely had good encounters with people in the country she was in. She didn't even know what country she was n. She was lost and confused. Her scared eyes watching him as he spoke in.. a language she understood? Lucrezia blinked a couple times to brush off the surprise. She could understand him? That made her feel wonderful and she almost smiled if it weren't for the fact her knee was still bleeding and she didn't now this man. However slowly she was accepting of him.
He took off part of his shirt and began ripping it up. Her eyes watching with deep intrigue as he would coax her through the hole healing process.
His hand poked at her nose and instantly her nose would twitch, like a rabbit's. Suddenly she would smile and laugh. "Look Confetti!" He had spoken as he threw some strips in the air. Lucrezia clapped her hands and laughed, looking in amazement. For someone to actually talk to her, it was simply.. well it made her little day. Her lips pulled into a wide grin as she would giggle a bit.
At last he was kissing her knee and her eyes followed him. Her eyes wide with a wonder for this man. A toothy smile ear to ear. "Aa! Thank you!" She would state as she felt the hug and tensed a bit in surprise. How long had it been since she was hugged? It wasn't since she'd seen.. Her heart sank a bit. A little bit of tears tracing her cheeks. Her parents were dead. She'd seen them slumped on the ground.. bleeding. Pain stung at her heart. Yet she wiped it away and acted as if it were nothing.
Her smile returned and she looked at the man before practically tackling him to hug his body. "My name is Lucrezia Dorand! Who are you?" She asked in curiosity, distracting herself from the past and hoping this man wouldn't just leave now. "Will you play with me? No one else understands me." She would ask, her eyes full of that innocent luster and glow. The blue eyes simply aglow upon him with her lips smiling. She almost seemed to be begging for attention and yet, she didn't seem upset by it. After all, Lucrezia was thrown into a world she knew nothing about.

Re: Once upon an Orphanage
Ogihci was happy the distraction had worked. No need to have her being sad over a simple fix up after all. Her thank you came so sweetly to his ears. Yes, he adored this little girl already. Her happiness simply mad him smile. The giggling and laughter, who could hate something so pure and innocent? As he hugged her he had felt her tense. Hmm, was she not used to being hugged? How could this be? A child who wasn't use to being hugged was like a bee without its stinger. Life threatening! He would certainly break her of that, that was for sure. He loved to hug his own children so why would hugging others be so different eh? But he certainly wasn't expecting what happened next.
Suddenly she was upon him tackling him to the ground and knocking him to his butt. At first he had a look of surprise. But, this quickly dissipated and and looked upon the girl with the most loving of smiles. Ah, youth, it was such a magical thing. Even the worst kinds of people couldn't resist a child's whims in his opinion. So Lucrezia Dorand was her name eh? "Well what a beautiful name." He said smiling to her. It certainly was a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl. "My name?" He asked. Hmm he had to think about this for a moment. Her cuteness had certainly taken him off his game. "I am Ogihci Masu." He said proudly.
Though his family had disowned him, he had not disowned the family name. Why would he? He still cared about his family. He had simply embarrassed them by falling for their young maid. It did however erk him that they had not even come to see their grandchildren's birth. But, that was the price of being disowned he supposed. "Play!?" Ogihci said excitedly. "You bet I will. What shall we do? We can play tag, hide and go seek, or even..." He stopped for a second getting a devious smile upon his face and turned around. He peeked around at her for a moment and went back. The air began to get tense as the anticipation beckoned her to ask what he meant...
Then all of a sudden... "RAWR!" He said flipping around and and nibbling at her feet. "I'm going to eat your little feeties off! RAWR! Nomnomnomnom." He said as he began tickling her feet and pretending to eat them. Certainly this would be a fun game to play wouldn't it? "You can not escape the lion of the forest! Omnomnomnomnom!" He continued pausing for a moment to say his speel and then began pretending to nibble on her leg as well. He loved children's imaginations, they were fun to play games with cause they actually got into the game. While adults simply decided it was too childish to play games. Now where was the fun in that?

Re: Once upon an Orphanage
Lucrezia had her eyes on the man. The blue-silver crystals upon him with such interest. Games she'd never gotten to play! Well not since she arrived in Xing. Her lips were pulled into a smile ear to ear as her body leaned forward with interest. This other game.. what was it? WHAT WAS IT?! Intrigue strangled her body as she would almost fall over from the anxiety. She wanted to know! The cliffhanger! Her hair fell over her shoulders and soon she found herself flipped.
A loud squeal of a giggle upon her lips while she felt his mouth nibbling at her toes. The girl would thrash and giggle. EGADS! Her one true weakness. Her eyes closed as she would kick slightly, laughing hysterically until tears fell from her rosy cheeks. "Ehahaha! I-It tickles! Hahaha nooo don't eat my toesss! I need thosee!" She would whine between laughing fits. Her body rising and falling due to her extreme laughing. Accidentally she'd kick him, but before she could apologize the thrill of a tickle would capture her young mind.
Continued squeaking would occur as she grasped at his hands and snorted, trying to keep from laughing too much. She tried her best not to laugh but couldn't help laughing. "AHahaaa Bad lion!! Don't eat little girls!" She would demand before moving to push his head back like children did at times. Her face bright with happiness. She'd never felt such enjoyment in the last half a year. It had been so long. This man.. reminded her a lot of her own father. The word slipping from her lips. "D-daddy stop! It tickles!!"
