Sara Richter SaraA Sara Richter SaraB Sara Richter SaraC
"Can you tell me what you think?"
...........................................................................

FULL NAME:
→ Sara Abel Richter

AGE:
→ 18

SEX:
→ Female

BIRTH PLACE:
→ Dublith, Amestris

RACE:
→ Amestrian

DATE OF BIRTH:
→ May 6, 1993

...........................................................................

HEIGHT:
→ 158cm

WEIGHT:
→ 53kg

PICTURE:
Spoiler:

DESCRIPTION:
→ A short yet slim, harsh and yet soft figure. That is what one sees when they first look at Sara. From the short, deep blue hair that streams down her face, framing a somewhat-coy expression that is hidden behind blue eyes and slim glasses; to the pale flesh of her body, still somewhat young in its appearance. The harshness in her face is outlined by a quiet and childish amusement, as if everything is going all to plan, and she’s enjoying herself while it is. There’s a constant thoughtfulness in her eyes, as if she’s thinking about each and every possible step to take from this point in time. Her fingers and hands are constantly moving, whether signing or simply tapping together in a tent-shape. For this reason, Sara can often seem rather restless. If anything, there will always be a somewhat childish way in which she moves her body.

PERSONALITY:
→ Whenever one is ‘talking’ with Sara, they will always be a small part of a larger game. There is always something going on the background; whether it’s to do with a simple activity-turned-bet, or a larger part of a more sinister game, she will always strive to be the best at what she does. When thrust into a game-like situation, or a place where bets can be made, Sara will always push herself forwards at the highest rate she possibly can; putting as much effort as humanly possible into what seem to be the smallest of tasks. Although she is exceptionally competitive, she is also fair in her rewards. If she has failed a task, then she will take the punishment that she knows that she deserves, whether it is a simple token of monetary value, or even something more embarrassing. If she has lost a bet, then she obviously deserves such things.

Being a deaf-mute, Sara has difficulty expressing such things as emotion through her sign language alone. She can easily write down what she wants to say on paper, but the effect is much the same. There is no emotion portray through the medium of vision, or so one would think. For this reason, Sara can be quite animated when it comes to her facial expressions; using them in order to get people to understand her intentions. Of course, it doesn’t always work, but at least she gives it a shot.

Finally, Sara dislikes chronically lazy people. She thinks that, if someone has a job, they should be doing it. Don’t get me wrong—she knows how to have fun, and will certainly have fun when time permits. She likes parties, too, because people are happy. She honestly just wants to see all the people around her constantly smiling.

LOVE:
→ Board Games
→ Competition
→ Parties
→ Happy People
→ Working Hard

HATE:
→ Chronically Lazy People (I mean, a few breaks here and there are FINE, but actually SHIRKING OFF on your duties, without actual reason?! GEEZ.)
→ Trying to say what she wants on a pen and paper. (It’s not as easy as it looks, and it’s REALLY awkward…)
→ People who treat her differently, simply because she’s a deaf-mute.
→ Saying goodbye.
→ Trying to understand people who can’t use sign language.

...........................................................................

HISTORY:
→ It all started when a mother and a father were greeted with a newborn baby girl. The girl started to cry, and all was well. However, when they tried to get the baby to look at them, they could only get her to respond with movement. Sounds, no matter how loud, were always ignored. For a while, the doctors just thought it to be natural, or a temporary thing. Something that would go away quickly. However, that was not the case in such a situation. Weeks went by, and the baby grew. But whatever her parents did, Sara would not respond to any forms of sound. The doctors finally gave in and had a look. They were not surprised to find that everything after her eardrums were deformed and collapsed. Giving her back to her parents, they told them that Sara would never be able to hear or speak. With this in mind, they decided to continue on raising her, with as normal a life as possible.

Moved to a school for the deaf quite early on in her life, Sara found solace in the various board games and puzzles that the other children brought out. Before long, she started to get more and more competitive. Bets were made, prizes were drawn, and Sara started to get malicious with her winning streaks. She was still fair, but people started to wonder if she was, in fact, really capable of losing these board games. But still, she wanted more. She started to view everything in live as a challenge, as if it were simply a game, waiting for her to play it. When she ‘spoke’ with others, she continued to challenge their every move as if they were going to slip up at some point in time. Walking to a store became a race. Knowing that she wouldn’t be able to put her energy into her voice, Sara instead began to put as much energy into living as possible.

As she finally reached the stage where she was to decide what to do with her life, Sara finally started to see that this place in Central was not for her. She looked to South, and saw that the place was being rebuilt as a new world; a new start. Without hesitating, she moved there and attempted to make good on some sort of life. Walking into the offices of the South City Military HQ, she placed a form onto the desk of the receptionist, and signed up for something she had never thought she would do—the military. It was just another game for her, another thing to do until she got bored. For this reason, she would now serve her country.

...........................................................................

TRIVIA:
→ Cannot speak any languages physically. However, it is possible for her to use Sign Language. She can also read and write perfect Amestrian.
→ Being a deaf-mute, Sara has the ability to make certain noises (such as groans, whines or moans), but cannot go much further than that. Having never been able to hear--and as a byproduct, use words, her vocal cords have not developed properly.
→ Her deafness is purely genetic: she has been deaf from birth, due to a recessive gene that managed to make its way in and take control. Her own small bones of the ear have not formed properly, and her cochlea is also slightly deformed.
→ Her sense of balance is horrid.
→ She is very good at board games, but also gets very aggressive while playing such artifices.
→ Her finger-snapping is very loud. So much so, in fact, that it's what she'll usually use to get someone's attention.

ALIAS:
→ Dai

OTHER CHARACTERS:
→ Dai, Apos, Ace, Sablya, Vito, Fiachra, Iosif.

CREATOR'S COMMENTS:
→ Nope. :3 Well, it’ll be interesting playing her out from scratch. This is going to be a character with the bare minimum in personality, history and appearance, and I will instead be building her up. No connections originally, no known friends, no nothing—just a military rank and a position in South City. Call it my… “Experiment”.

FACE CLAIM:
Code:
[b]KATAWA SHOUJO[/b] [i]Hakamichi Shizune[/i]

CUSTOM RANK:
→ SPEAK TO ME
