War Stories
”A shot of Vervada Vodka, barkeep,” Helena says, sitting down at the bar. The man nods, slowly getting to it. The bar had a few patrons tonight, but people seemed to be preoccupied elsewhere. Maybe drinking themselves to a stupor elsewhere.
The bartender slides the shot over to her, eyeing her medallion hesitantly. ”You’re an inquisitor?” he asks, keeping a relatively neutral face.
”Indeed I am,” she says before knocking the shot back. Slamming it down onto the table, she slides it back. ”Don’t worry. I’m here as a patron, not on business.” Sighing in relief, the bartender removes the shot from the table.
”Ever been to Panei?”
”It’s a forsaken island that should be burned down.” Her voice was layered with anger and distain for that place, and she meant it. If she could, she’d destroy the island without a second thought. ”The things over there are… unnatural.”
”Hm,” he replies, simply nodding. A well-trained barkeep, indeed.
”Just give me a beer,” she says, slumping over the counter. Today just wasn’t her day.

Ah, Esparia. Her mother's homeland, and a place that held a special spot in her heart, even if she rarely left Carraig long enough to visit. It is a beautiful place, Molly had to admit, and the music. Molly, musically talented and enamored as she was with all things musical, had learned how to play music with a combination of Creig songs and the lively music of Esparia. Thus, she'd always had a bit of Esparia with her, no matter where she went. But for TODAY, she was vacationing in Esparia, and was going to have some tequila at a bar!~
Upon entering the bar, Molly sat down at a barstool near some girl, as the bartender and the girl were speaking. Not really paying mind to what the two were saying, Molly waited for their conversation to end before ordering a glass of tequila. As her drink arrived, she sipped it, and smiled. Happy Molly was drunk Molly, and Molly was going to be happy today!~ Glancing to the woman beside her, she gave a little wave and a friendly smile. Yes, randomly meeting people is fun as well.

Seemed that the music box had been cranking out some tunes from the local legends, those special few in Esparia whom had been really famous singers and song composers. The music had it's qualities, and for the most part the songs that played had invoked lost memories. As the head of Alucidos seemed to bob and sway from left to right. In his hand a dark and hard liquor that had not been properly named, for it was considered to be heavily illegal. However as someone whom had dabbled in the fights between what was allowed and not allowed back during the days of the Kamehan war, he had found himself being allowed to do whatever he wanted. As long as it didn't push certain boundaries to badly. He was a elder to these lads in this bar for sure, and he would allow for that to be known by his very presence. He was giving off a aura of malice towards the bar, he didn't want to even know why someone was in here that was being so friendly. But he was interested in the antics of this female none-the-less. He felt the urge to indulge in his curiosity, and he would lift from the booth he was at. Which was located at the back of the bar itself.
He would walk across the paneled floors and reach the area in which both females where sitting, taking his seat on the opposite end as this Helena female. He would place his glass upon the counter-top and would speak out with a thick Esparian accent. His eyes watching the bar-tender only. "Hola, senoritas." He would then peer to the one with the bright hair, and speak even further. "I can safely assume that you are not a militant, and you do not come to this bar often." He would then peer to the other female as well. "You on the other-hand, yes I overheard your duties being called out nicely. You have the job that I aspire to have within our great nation." He stated calmly. He would look at the bartender and give a little grin. "Buy a round for everyone in here. I believe that today we will bask in the radiance of our nation. Celebrating events that will soon transpire." He made clear that he was very astute on the politics here.
