Walking Around

Kenshin wanders South City with no apparent interest to look at anything or talk to anyone. As the wind blows hard into the city, Ken looks as if it doesn't affect him. He wants to do anything but walk around, but to him, the world only has so much to do. Being new in this city, Ken didn't know anyone, didn't have friends from here. But its like that with everything, Kenshin thinks to himself. Because of his cold personality, it was hard for Kenshin to make friends, especially girls. But Kenshin has learned to come from this harsh reality.
Daydreaming about his past, Kenshin walks into a nearby person with realizing it, a thug with a gruff voice who as tall as him. "Hey buddy, Watch where you are going." The thug yells at his face. Unphased by his attempt to scare him, he walked right past him with a quiet. "Sorry" The thugs caught up to him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Hey Buddy, I don't like your attitude. Looks like we are going to fix that" Kenshin's face looked untroubled, but he suddenly did a flip kick to the thugs face. "Ow, You are going to pay for that" Suddenly a metal pole appears from the ground, wrapping and subduing the thug. "What is this?" The thugs face looked surprised. Kenshin started to walk away and waved at the thug. "It's called alchemy"
Ken walked away, leaving that thug to be wrapped and enjoy the rest of his day

WALKING AROUND

"Genki desu ka?"

"Huh?" The boy asked to himself as he let his two parents walk ahead while he stopped at the side of an alley to see some thug hold a guy against the wall. Red eyes opened wide as he saw the thug yell out some threats, making the boy desperately want to go and help the poor guy, but he was a singer, not a fighter, so what was- 'Shit did that guy just do alchemy!?'

With wide eyes, he watched a watched a metal pole come from the ground and smack the thug in the head, before the man picked himself up and dropped the pole next to said thug. He then turned and walked the boy's way, making him pale a bit (cought red-handed) and look around for his parents... only to see no familiar face in sight (crouded street).

"Oh crap..." He breathed out, before clearing his throught and tapping the taller man's shoulder, "Hey, uh, could you give me a hand, I can't find my parents."

Kenshin turned around to spot a little boy, pulling on his shirt while he was trying to get through a crowd, after using his alchemy in public, which he told himself he would never do unless he was in a fight or if someone one was threatening him, like the thug. He heard what the little boy asked and did not have time to play hide and seek. "Sorry kid, you are on your own." Kenshin walked away from where the boy was standing, avoiding people asking him questions about what just happened. Kenshin didn't feel good about leaving a little boy who had lost his parents , but he didn't want to hassle himself and play babysitting. He suddenly stopped and thought about himself as a little kid in the same situation.

He found himself in a village with his dad while watching a street performer do some alchemy. Without even knowing it, his dad was gone. Ken tried to find his dad across the whole village, but could not find him. He eventually came across a stranger, who had a trench coat and a top hat on, asking why he was crying. When Ken told him the story, the stranger and Ken looked for his dad for the whole day, until they found him at the police station. Ken has never has a greater joy then at that moment.

Ken ran back the way he just came and found the boy in the same spot he left him at. "Come, lets go find your parents." Ken gave the boy a smile

"Sorry kid, you are on your own." He heard the man say as the boy gave him a sad smile and nodded; of course he'd say no, after all, not many people wanted to help about a kid like him. The teen just sighed as he noticed the man leave as he relaxed against the building with a groan. He bet those assholes were off enjoying themselves, not caring their son was gone while he was leaning on a wall near an alley, waitingfor them to never show.

Just as he was about to pick up resolve and walk off in his home's direction, the man came back with a rushed look on his feace and said, "Come, lets go find your parents." with a smile on his face. The teen blinked in confusion (after all, didn't the guy tell him no?) before shrugging to himself and smiling politely at the man. "Thanks, oh, I'm Kaid, by the way."

The fifteen-year-old boy then adjusted his scarf (he had strange fashion taste) and looked up at the sky, groaning as he felt a drop of wet hit his cheek, "Damn... Uh, I think it's gunna rain soon, so we should be quick," The singer said with an apologetic smile before he pulled a picture from his pocket with him and his two parents in it (he was wearing his microphone and on a stage, while hie parents were next to him), before giving it to the male with a smile, "These are my parents,"
