Here we go again - Page 2 Empty Re: Here we go again

Post by Murazar Dauthi Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:59 pm

He frowned slightly as if in worry, her excuse and gestures along with blush all indicated to a crush on him. Which made him blush slightly, not many women have or could do that. He walked over and set his glass down as he felt her forehead, pushing strands of her hair aside as he felt her forehead was warm. Their faces were almost touching and although he was focused on telling whether she had a fever or not he figured in his own way he'd try and tell her she wasn't sick at all.

" Not a fever, not the alcohol or adreneline. Probably something else." He paused as he backed up a step the blush of his own fading, he spoke up again taking a sip of his drink." We're more than mercs, we're like a family. If your in grab your belongs and we'll go. I'll fill you in on the details on the way and you can grab a few hours of sleep. As a warning it'll be on a helicopter, like Xan had. That alright?"

He smiled to her, nothing but genuine at this point. He downed his glass and set it on a table as he motioned he would follow her. He had not once shown any indication he called for a helicopter. Keeping true to his theme of "Magic" he was making it appear out of the night. For the moment he hoped this one would be warmer than the last one the way there.

Amity blushed again. It had broken through again; the weakness. Her eyes a bit wide as she could almost feel his skin touching hers. Oh how she could feel her heart speed a bit. A bit of a panic in her veins. His hand pushed some of hair out of her face. Her breath shivering a bit as she would close her eyes. There was that fire again; a feeling more addicting than adrenaline. He spoke of how she didn't have a fever. Was it poison? That was the only other reason she could think of; that she knew of. Yet she didn't mind.

After a minute, the man backed away and drank some of the contents of his glass. Soon it was empty and he was motioning her to follow. Like a family? that sounded satisfactory. Amity would nod and walk after him, leaving the contents of her glass. She was sort of excited, a new job and a new friend. Even though she felt weird around him, she liked it. Her eyes closed as she would smile and push away the remnants of her own blush. She needed to get rid of it, how ridiculous she had to look!

"I see no problem with that." She'd say, her voice still showing the accent. She would soon follow the man. Learning more about this business should help get her mind off the sickness anyways. She was a mercenary anyways and now it seemed she'd have a more paid job. Something steadier and able to keep her from overspending herself again. As she often never made enough to support herself. Maybe she could finally pay up those debts she owed. "Uhm.. How you gonna call in the flyin' beast?" She would ask out of curiosity. She saw no phone call happen and wondered.

Murazar grinned slightly as they exited the building. He turned his head as he headed for her horse, but stoppped before completely reaching it. He spok to her with a grin,"Already called it in. Should be about ten minutes, you should hear it about...now." As soon as he said 'now' the low thump-thump of the helicopter was audible in the distance as it steadily got louder.

Ok, now he was showing off. Just a little bit, after all one did not explain magic. She would find out later how he did what he did on her own. In the meantime he motioned for her to ready herself, he also looked at her face closely before deciding to say with a shy kind of smile."You know, you look really cute when you blush." He figured a straight out flirt and some of the truth might as well be delivered at the moment.

After all he guessed her feelings were for him and how he was developing feelings for her as well. He wondered how this would work out before he stopped himself and forced himself to pay attention to the present. The future could wait.

Here we go again - Page 2 Empty Re: Here we go again

Showing off his skills was obvious. Somehow though, even knowing this, Amity would still be impressed. A bit of shock on her face as on call the helicopter made the approaching sounds. The repetitive noise filling the air as slowly, wind would pick up. Amity couldn't believe technology these days. Maybe he had a button that was hidden. After all, true magic was all smoke and mirrors. Or so her uncle always told her. It was usually the truth and she found that applied to most little magical get-togethers. The magician had secrets, but that always made him more alluring. Her mouth pulling a grand smile to her ace as she'd call him in it. "Showin' off, are we?" She'd state. Her lips moving before she could stop, but luckily silent enough that there was a chance o him NOT hearing her. "I like a man with guts."

Now was the time she would act as if she said nothing. It worked rather well. Well that was until he looked to get a better view of her face. A slight teasing manner about the blush she had. Immediately alarm set through her body. She wasn't blushing.. was she?! A hand would move and spread over her mouth, nose and cheeks as if hiding something already seen. A shy action that would make her look even more guilty. "E-eh?! I-I ain't blushin'! Must be th'booze." She stated stubbornly with a thick and obvious lie. Amity after all was a terrible liar. What was with the odd reaction in her stomach anyways.

Of course his magical words had made her blush spread and the main hint to it all would be in her ears. The burning in her head almost dizzying. It would take a few seconds before the odd sickness fluxed down and she would laugh softly. "Okay.. maybe a lil." She would admit in a playful tone, pulling her hand away. There was no need to deny something so obvious. As the helo came closer, Amity found herself close enough to brush arms with the man. Even though it was unintentional, she would laugh softly and smile as if she had rammed into him. "Sorry."

Even if he didn't hear her second line he did hear the first. He smiled and shrugged with no embarressment. This was something he had done for a long time, it was something he liked depending on the situation." Magicians always have to have a bundle of tricks. Or else its not much fun." This was probably one of the only times he would call himself by a lesser ranking. To him a magician was something for a childs party, a man with a few tricks and all of them fake.

He was an alchemist! A man who did what a lot of people called true magic. Or science. He figured she wouldn't know the difference until far later down the road, so at the moment it hardly mattered. He really did want to hear whatever that other thing she said, the one the damn helicopter was covering up. Blast it all! Why did he care so much about her opinion? Was it love of some kind? He'd find out later and give it some more thought.

He chuckled lightly in a teasing way as she tried to deny it and cover it up while her blush spread even further. He stopped and smiled happily as she finally agreed," Don't worry on it so much, it makes you cuter." As the boarded the helo she accidently bumped into him and as soon as she apologized he looked to her and replied cheerfully,"Nothing to apologize for, sweetheart." His hand curled around hers as the boarded the helo, he had to make sure she was strapped down and as the pilot strapped her horse down while the co-pilot made sure everything was good to go before they took off. Murazar made sure he was seated right next to her, still holding her hand.

His comment made her laugh. It seemed he really enjoyed being called a magician. He was playing with that word in such an excited manner. It might seem immature to some people, but in all honesty, Amity was having just as much fun with the little charade. He seemed to chuckle at her blushing which would make her blush more and curse under her breath. Calling her cute truly only made it worse. A fire started in her head and a fuzziness claimed it. What was she thinking about? Damn distractions! What was wrong with her?

He had called her sweetheart again. She would smile softly, his hand grabbing hers. Normally Amity would freak out with a touch from another being, but this time, she seemed calm. It was an accepted touch that she would simply allow rather than attack. A sly sort of look on her face. Well he was ahead with the teasing, so she'd get him back, even if it was a little flirtatious. "Y'know, you had a ratha pretty one earlier, yourself, sugar." Her eyes closed a moment as she followed him, half because he had her hand, half because she wanted to. It was a rather odd sensation, holding someone's hand other than her uncle's. It had been so many years? Maybe that's why she had allowed it. It brought a sense of comfort.

As they walked into the helo, she was strapped into a chair next to Mura. She could hear people doing the same with Mustang, just without the chair. She hoped her horse would be okay, but she had faith in him. Why? She really didn't know. It was a sort of attachment for the first time she had ever felt. Her hand still upon his, yet she didn't mind. This helo ride would be a little less bumpy as she had a seat-belt on. Her eyes stared at him a moment. What had happened? She felt so.. trapped by this man. Yet it didn't feel wrong at all.

Murazar blushed intensely as she returned the teasing, it wasn't that he didn't expect it. It was just his normal reaction apparently, even he didn't know that. He smiled as he held her hand and fell asleep, it seemed like something he did everytime he was on a helo. Even while asleep he held her hand, almost as a comfort. His dreams were peaceful for once and happy.

-----------Time Skip (Few Hours)---------------

Murazar awoke as they neared the Ebon citadel and a red light turned to green. He unbuckled himself and stood up as he offered a hand to Amity and spoke as he grabbed one of two suits off a wall, along with a helmet w/radio and a parachute backpack with a cord. He suited up and put on the helmet and backpack while talking to her.

"If you want excitement grab a suit, helmet and parachute pack. I'll teach you how to fly through the air and land. Its easy, pull the cord after counting to ten or when you see me pull it, a chute will open up and carry you down. The reigns on it will hang near your face so you can grab them. Leaning in a particular direction moves you that way and when you land pull your knees up and dont lock'em. "

He motioned for her to put it on while he had his on and tightened it. He decided that giving her a simple roundabout way of how to parachute. He smiled to her and grabbed her hand to jump with her as he turned and ran off the end of the helo as if it wasn't one of the most insane stunts ever done.

It seemed the man had fallen asleep rather quickly. His face held a blush after her statement but soon enough he was asleep. She couldn't help but chuckle slightly while looking out the window. Her eyes watching the land around them move. It was only her second time riding in a flying vehicle of course she'd still be strained about it, but this time wasn't nearly as bad. Not once would she let go of his hand and in fact, she'd forgotten she was even holding it as she would space out and simply absorb the scenery.

--timeskip--

The man started as lights changed colors and the scenery showed a new area or them to be. His body speedily got ready, her hand letting his go finally and feeling rather numb from falling asleep. A few times she would flick her wrist; waking the nerves as she used her other hand to unsnap herself and grab a hold of his hand. As she stood, her air land legs would shake a bit, not used to the gravity of the altitude. Her body would stumble and stagger a bit as she got used to walking about before following to the wall and grabbing a sort of similar suit. All eyes on him as he explained the procedure.

As she pulled it up and over her outfit, she would struggle a bit with her odd outfit. It wasn't too much longer before she managed to pull it on and the helmet to follow. Of course her hat would be crushed, but that was easily fixed. "Alright. Sound like fun." The bag was upon her back as he dragged her by her hand and leaped. Though she wasn't exactly mentally prepared, she had followed. A shout of surprise while her hair would whip up. What an adrenaline rush though. One thing she had really liked. Of course, that was an obvious factor. Her voice started out as a shout before she started laughing a bit. What a crazy time.

Murazar grinned as he let go of her hand seemed to turn his body in midair to look at her, he patted his helmet and spoke to her through it. "I'm gonna put a bit of distance for safety, just remember what I told you. We're going to land on your balcony for your room." He seemed to yet again turn around and then slimmed his body down to speed forward faster than before.

Almost like he had done this hundreds of times before. As soon as he felt they were the right distance he pulled the cord, leapt back as the parachute slowed him down and he landed in her balcony. His chute got stuck on the outside part of the balcony as the entire wall of it was pulled back for their landing. As he landed he quickly took anything connecting him to the chute off and turned to await amitys landing.

Several men seemed to be standing around as if ready to both clean up the mess and to see their new commander. It was a while since they had someone directly in charge of them. A long while. Murazar plopped the helmet and suit off with ease as he awaited her landing.

The woman would nod as she could barely hear him over the rush of the wind. What chaos! She liked the way the wind whipped her hair around and messed with her suit a bit. The closeness of death seeming there yet a sort of confidence in living as well mingled. She was a distance from him and for now she focused on memorizing what he said. Her body acting according to her concentration. Her chute released, knees not locked, all that good stuff, though her landing was a bit sloppily as she would stumble afterwards and fall against the railing of the balcony. Well that certainly was a rush. She would admit as she pulled off the helmet and breathed heavily.

Her voice soon breaking out with a laugh. Her face bright and letting that wild aura flare about her. "Well that was a hella good time!" She'd state in a rather loud and excited voice. Her hand soon slapping him on the back gently. Her hair was a mess and her hat a bit scrunched, but she'd fix that swiftly. Fetching it off of her head, she would push and mold the hat back to its previous form before beginning to strip off the parachuting suit. Her usual clothing beneath.

Her eyes wandered around a bit, impressed by the balcony as she would blurt out a rather odd statement. "I wonder if you're this much fun swimmin'." She would pause a moment and debate on where she was going with that thought. "If ya wanna join me sometime that is." Her usual accent flooding her words while she would continue to smile at him. She would hope he said yes. After all, she was having fun now and wanted to know if she'd have more fun on a later date. She was o course astounded by the building and though it was cold, she'd only shiver once before ignoring it.

Murazar grinned as she landed. Not the best he'd seen, but awesome for a first timer. He grinned wildly as she slapped his back. The handful of men around them quickly and efficiently took the gear and fixed it back up before damn near vanishing from the scene. He motioned for her to follow him inside before she caught a cold or worse in the incliment weather and freezing altitude.

As soon as they were in he replied by grabbing her hand softly and holding it gently as if it ws the most precious thing on the world."Sounds like a mighty good time to me, you'll have to let me know where we'll. I'll take some time off for us and get a plane or two ready to drop us off in not time flat any time you wish." He grinned as he motioned around her office, which had another door connecting to a suite.

He motioned to a computer on a desk next to a phone with a large digital map behind it. He spoke as he motioned to each object."You got a computer where any of the paperwork will be done. Everything on it will tell you how to do it as simple and quick as possible and if you need to look at it more than once go ahead. Same as the phone, I would suggest calling them up and asking for whatever you think you'll need for your office and room which is in that door. They'll help you move it all around and everything. Lastly, that map there is activated just by your voice. Ask it questions and it'll help you out. If you need some help, i'm usually around and a phone call away."

He grinned and awaited anything else from here, if there was nothing he would leave. After all he needed to schedule those flights and dates. Along with looking at the progress reports and get briefed.

His hand gripped hers and soon he accepted her proposal. Asking for a when and where, he would fall from his words. She smiled and would nod gently. "Well, how 'bout at the water park? I heard South city has a nice ol' water park there. Should be jolly good fun. Say next Tuesday?" She'd speak in a cool voice, trying to relax as her body shook from both nerves and the chilly air. What was she even doing? She was practically begging this man to spend time with her, or so that's what she saw it as. Sighing a bit, she would try and push the thought away and go back to enjoying his being there.

He would guide her around the room and point out essentials. A bit of a wide-eyed look on the young woman's face as she would take in the situation. Computer? Oh god, technology... That thing that hated her. Oh well, she probably wouldn't use it so much as look at it. Was she staying here now? Oh that meant she didn't need to mooch any longer. Well, she still might stick around. "Thank ya, alot." She would state softly as she gripped her hat to him again, pinching the rim. "I greatly apprec'ate it, Mur'zar." Again she'd smile at him, showing her manners.
