From a Prince to a Princess
It was Tuesday the 14th of February.
Which meant it was the hallmark holiday Valentines day. A sickening day where you brought loads of expensive stuff for a loved one and for most people meant they didn't have to do didderly squat till next year.
But Acra still wanted to treat his loved one. Better yet he had gone through so much trouble for her gift. Well gifts but he didn't mind. One was technically to be shared with someone of her choice. Knocking on the office door he poked his head in to see her sat working away as usual. Hiding the gifts behind his back he walked in.
"Hey Princess..." The aged long nickname he had given her since there meeting almost a year ago. Shock a year ago he became a state alchemist too. Leaning down he pressed his lips to hers briefly offering her a simple red rose. "Happy Valentines." He smiled. "And before you pout that I got you gifts don't...I wanted to and I don't expect anything back."
He placed to sweetly wrapped boxes in front of her. One larger then the other. He couldn't help but wait to see her open them. The larger book had a gorgeous sari that he caught her eyeing once online. With the beautiful jewellery to go with it. Including a hair piece in the shape of a heart. He taught it suited the day a lot and heck she deserved nice things.
The second was the shared gift. And the hardest to get. Her favourite band Niveus Corvax, was doing a concert nearby but the tickets had sold out in seconds. He couldn’t bare to see her upset so he had gone through all his contacts. Heck even his fathers contacts, looking for some. He had finally after much relentless hunting had acquired them. Great seats too. She and who ever she chose to go with her wouldn't miss a thing. He had placed the tickets in a jewellery box to throw her off so the surprise would be even bigger.

Re: From a Prince to a Princess
Tuesdays sucked, but not half as bad as Monday, unless you didn't finish all the paperwork from Monday and still had stack and stacks leftover due to go along with the work that needed to be done by the end of Tuesday, lest it all be piled higher on your desk on Wednesday. And unfortunately, even with many departments below her and people who would come do work if she asked them to, Shula knew that everyone in South HQ was already busy enough without her asking someone do help do her work for her. Besides, what kind of boss or person would be be doing that?
She sighed heavily, working through the stack and almost wanting to start doodling on the painfully dull paperwork when a small knock came to her office door. Red eyes blinked, looking up from the dizzying lines of black ink against white paper. She didn't have any appointments this morning, and the secretary hadn't buzzed her about anyone coming. The door opened, and Shula smiled tiredly. Acra! She pushed herself away from the desk, glad for the distraction. But what'd he need? Surely he wasn't so bored he'd come looking for more work to do. "Hey Princess..."
Shula couldn't help but smile. That nickname would never go away, would it? "JIffy Pop~" She was graced with a small kiss, and a single rose that smelled heavenly. Her cheeks dusted a warm pink... What was the occasion?
"Happy Valentines." Wait, that was today?! Shula internally sighed. Yeah, she wasn't tired at all. At least she knew what month and year it was. "And before you pout that I got you gifts don't...I wanted to and I don't expect anything back." Dman he knew her too well sometimes. Shula fidgeted; if she'd remembered she would have at least made him a baggie of chocolate digged espresso beans..
The two boxes were placed in front of her on the desk, very prettily wrapped. A flower and two presents... Her feelings batted back and forth for a minute before she caved, her insatiable curiosity demanding to know what was in the boxes, and Acra had that look in his eyes that was quietly egging her on to open them, knowing she wouldn't be able to resist. "You really shouldn't have.. I forgot entirely." Almost shyly Shula reached for the first box, the larger of the two, and undid the paper as slowly s she could. Sure the suspense was killing her, but Acra stuck around to watch her open them, so it would probably tease him, too. But once the paper was pulled aside there was little hesitation to lift the carboard lid of the shirt box. And there she froze in momentary wonder.
Her sari. It was the one she'd been looking at online some weeks ago. Her fingers trailed down the delicate, sheer fabric, gently tracing the velvet roses and satiny bands, entranced by the mauve and soft red hues. The jewelry laid on top of it was just as stunning, copper leaves with gentle tones of red and pinks to go with the sari, the maang tikka dripping down in the shape of a heart. "[color=green]Ohh.... Acra. It's beautiful" Not the most eloquent of things she could have said, but Shu was honestly stunned. The sari was gorgeous, as was the jewelry set that came with it. She had no idea he'd even known she was window shopping... when did he see this over her shoulder? Her smile warmed even more, still petting the velvet as she looked back up at him. "Acra, thank you... This is beautiful." She looked over at the small, long box beside the box with the sari. "Are you sure I get both? This is already so much on its own..."
The smaller box was opened much more quickly, but instead of a bracelet in the longer jewelry box, what laid inside of it almost made SHula choke on air. Those.... Those weren't... TICKETS!! Section A seats, too! Ever since the bombings Niveus Corvax had gotten more and more popular, their stardon booming now along with their public image from the charity concerts. This one was set to be huge, and had sold out in hours. Two tickets. Niveus Corvax. Prime seating. Did Acra sell his soul to the devil for these or something?? Shula couldn't help but let out an excited squeak, finally taking in a breath she'd been holding. "OHMYGODACRA! How..?! How'd you get tickets to this show! They sold out in record time and people were lined up for days!" She squeaked again, standing up and throwing her arms up around his neck, suddenly yanking him down to her level in an excited, speaking and yipping hug. She squeezed tightly, somewhere between happy and elated. Thank you, Acra... this is the best! Thank you." She squeezed agian, pressing a soft kiss near his ear. Maybe Tuesdays weren't so bad after all.

Re: From a Prince to a Princess
He smiled as she rejoiced over her sari. Oh yes he knew she had been watching it online. And how you ask? Well He been doing routine history checks to make sure people where working and not spending to much time on facebook or worse...porn. There he had seen Shula had spent a few breaks looking at this sari and the matching jewellery set. After making sure she hadn't brought it he got it for her knowing she would look beautiful in it.
"Are you sure I get both? This is already so much on its own..." He nodded. "All your's princess." He said watching with fasinated eyes. She would surely hit the roof when she saw it. The paper was shredded with more speed this time and her breath caught. Oh those tickets where such a bitch to find. "OHMYGODACRA! How..?! How'd you get tickets to this show! They sold out in record time and people were lined up for days!" He chuckled softly. "What's the use of contacts if you don't use it." He laughed before she threw her arms round his neck yanking him down while she squeaked and yipped happily into his ear. His arms snaked round her waist hugging her back. "Thank you, Acra... this is the best! Thank you." She kissed near his ear and he held her tighter nuzzling her softly. "Anything for you my princess."
