Post by Wolfgang Murinyo Wed Feb 01, 2012 2:24 am

It was a cold, cold, bitter day in the land of men who bled potato liquor, and Wolfgang Murinyo despised every moment he spent here. Fortunately, however, Gelemort and Drachma had no official qualms yet, so he was free to enter the country, which he did, from the East. Why the odd path of travel, you say? Based on the last meeting, his plans for a Drachman civil war to end all wars in Drachma had been utterly, horribly declined and rejected. But he was a man of instinct, not one of ytrial-and-failure political tactics! He didn't reach his high chair as a lawyer; he got where he was on street smarts and militant skill! So if that savage demon VASCO wanted to gun down his suggestions, screw him! The Roy de Royaume was quickly coming up on a building in the not so far off distance. Why was he headed for this building? He'd devised a plan that should benefit everyone. Except for Allendy and the vodka-bleeders. And heck, in the end, vodka-blood will still lead vodka-land, even if the same vodka-bleeder isn't bleeding vodka on the throne! The carriage stopped and he and his two Mounty escorts walked to the entrance, where Wolfy knocked.

He was expected. He'd sent a message as discreetly and quietly as he could, the minute he'd heard the rumors. A girl was leading a rebellion in Drachma, and he was quite interested. This rebellion could very well lead to an uprising. And that uprising could very well be the civil war he'd prophecized and planned out. With Drachma mending its own wounds, the rest of the world would be well off. RIOTE would be eliminated, the soviets would be gone, replaced by better leaders, and Amestris would have nobody to fight. That left Esparia, which Wolfy hoped to deal with post-haste. So he was pleasantly-faced as he knocked, and when the door was answered, smiled his cheerful grin on his drugs-and-crime wearied face. "Wolfgang Murinyo, outta Gele, missy. Glad tah sees yah, glad to sees yah. So what's all this about a Drachman rebel'in?" As he spoke, he silently gestured for his guards to return to the carriage; their presence was no longer neccesary, as this was to be a friendly meeting, a good meeting of potential friends and allies.

~Okay, So My Suggestion Sucked. So?~ Empty Re: ~Okay, So My Suggestion Sucked. So?~

Post by Guest Thu Feb 02, 2012 11:20 pm

Nina Shostakovitch sat in the rather plump chair in the middle of this small and strange house. It had once been a winter retreat cabin for someone, but it was obvious it hadn't been visited in years. Dust all around, cobwebs filling the corners, it was gross to say the least. They cleaned it rather quickly, knowing they would need it soon enough. The King of Gelemorte was coming to visit, and Nina didn't want the place to look too bad. "Start a fire brother, too cold in this damned place without it," she said to one of the men, nodding in return as he set about his task. The log cabin was clean within twenty minutes, her men doing a good job of it. "Good to know we'll make a good cleaning service if this rebellion doesn't work out eh?" The men laughed in response, the hardy laugh she'd learned to love from her soldiers. She hadn't been leader of the Resistance for very long, but already she felt close to the men and women she fought alongside. A bond, call it brotherhood, sisterhood, or whatever. This bond was strong, and she knew they would need it in the months to come. Rebellion would not be easy, but if successful, it would more than out weigh the costs. Nina was wearing the new dress uniforms that had just been made for them by some of the RRR members. Dark blue all, with dress slacks and a well made button up for the top. On the right sleeve, the new insignia they had just created was sowed in, and it looked great. Nina wore it well, though hers was custom fit just for her. Her fur cap, scarf, gloves, and heavy jacket were on a nearby coat rack, unnecessary in here with the big fire going.

The door swung open as a woman wrapped in fur and coats walked in. "Sir, I've got a carriage inbound, looks to be our visitor," the woman said as she shook the snow off herself. "Excellent, places everyone!" Nina replied, obvious excitement in her voice. This could be their chance to gain a powerful ally, as well as access to supplies and weapons with which to use against the Soviets. If today went well, the Revolution would start much sooner than expected, which was definitely a good thing. The sooner the better, winter wouldn't last too much longer and the snow would melt. Their advantage would be gone, and they just couldn't afford to fight them on even terms. They were too few to do such a thing.

As she thought of these things, she could hear the carriage pull up and stop in front of the cabin. With a woosh of wind and snow the door flung open, a man dressed quite extravagantly standing in the doorway. "Wolfgang Murinyo, outta Gele, missy. Glad tah sees yah, glad to sees yah. So what's all this about a Drachman rebel'in?" Nina smiled her best smile the tall man entered, closing the door behind him. Cretan? Good thing she had learned it well in school. Show time. "King Murinyo, it's nice to finally meet you, I am Nina Shostakovitch," she replied, extending her hand to shake his. After this she continued, "Please, have a seat." Next to the fire were two red chairs, plump and comfy. As they both sat down, Nina spoke again. "Would you like something to drink? We were able to get our hands on some wine during our last raid, and I figured now would be the best time to use it." She nodded to the nearby soldier, who saluted in return. A moment later he returned with two glasses and a bottle of fine Cretan wine. After he poured them both glasses, he saluted again and backed away, showing the utmost respect. Miss Melody took a sip of wine and then spun it in her glass, savoring the sweet flavor in her mouth. "You've heard right your highness, we have begun a resistance movement here in Drachma against the communists and their supporters, RIOTE. What they've done cannot stand, and we will not allow it to do so."

"Nina..." he said with a thoughtful smile, recruiting her name to memory. As she extended a hand for him to shake, he accepted the hand, and after shaking her hand, pulled her gently into a light hug. "It's a pleasure tah meetcha, Nina." He smiled as he took his seat, glancing back to Nina as she spoke up again. Wine, eh? "A drink would cert'ly be nice, thanks youse." Accepting the wine, he took a sip and cherished the flavor. "Few things as nice's a good wine, y'know." As she explained the resistance movement to him, he nodded along, following closely as she spoke. So it was true, eh? Perhaps this was exactly the front for his plan... He smiled. "Oyah, I agree. Wholeheartedly, even. It'll only be a matter of time before RIOTE's plague spreads anyways. So I think we have similar ambitions, eh? So here's a proposal; what if I weres prepared to supply youse guys? We can offer Gelemortian arms, some of the best in the world, rations, workers, ships- anything your resistance might need, we can supply. But of course, I'm going to have to ask a favor in return. So long as we supply your rebellion, youse guys should help us out. I've been getting that feeling of restless silence, so I think we may need that assistance soon..." Shrugging back the thoughts of an impending war, he smiled and spoke again. "So, do you accept, Miss Shostakavitch?" Ah, straight to business. It was always a rather good plan to start with the deal and end with a chat, y'know...

Once Nina finished, she leaned back in her chair, feeling relatively comfortable. Well said, as always, she thought to herself. She had always had a knack for speeches, rousing the spirits in men and women. It was a gift she was proud of, and one that came especially in handy when leading a rebellion with a rag tag of farmers, soldiers, and every other occupation one could imagine. The Resistance loved Nina, and she loved them in return. For it was not a symbol, not a single entity, but a group of people, a mass of citizens unified for a single and glorious purpose; the destruction of the Soviets and RIOTE, and the belief in democracy. These defined the RRR, and Nina as well.

I've been getting that feeling of restless silence, so I think we may need that assistance soon..." the King replied. Excellent! Someone who understood the disease that is RIOTE! On top of that, he had just pledged support to the Resistance, something Nina did not think would come so easily. "So, do you accept, Miss Shostakavitch?" His terms were fair, and indeed Nina agreed wholeheartedly.

"That is excellent news your majesty! I would be eternally grateful to receive assistance from the famed Gelemortean military. Though I doubt ships will be necessary, weapons, ammo, rations, and even workers would be most appreciated! With the large rallying we are currently receiving from the Drachman populace, and our current construction in the Northwestern part of this country, your support will be most welcomed by the Red Ribbon Resistance!" she replied excitedly. This was great news! With their support, and even that of others like Amestris and Xing, they could truly win this war. Their dreams were coming to fruition today, and it was only the beginning. "You have our support Wolfgang. When the day comes you require our assistance, we shall aide you." That last of what he had said caused some pause in Miss Shostakovitch. To what could he be talking about? Then it hit her, Esparia, of course! "I would assume you are talking of the recent tensions between you and Esparia correct?" she asked, curious to whether she had guessed correctly.

FAMED!? FAMED GELEMORTIAN MILITARY!? Wolfy almost wept a single tear of utmost manly machismo. She said his military was FAMED. Take THAT Allendy, yah great big'ol scoundrel! That'll teach youse not to swipe food off another man's plate, yah Esparian pig! WE are superior! >xD Why does Wolfy have emoticons in his thoughts, nobody will ever know, but CURRENTLY, he was smiling pleasantly. "Oh, ain't no need for no formalities. Please, Your Majesty weres Mr. Invidia's name'n occupation, call me Wolfy. As for the transferr'in o' supplies, I can haves it arranged with some'a the boys in Gele, we could haves youse some stuff down here in oh, bout five days. How much'o e'rythin' yah needin', anyways?" Oh, he knew that question would please her; it said everything. He was willing to help, he could get stuff there relatively quickly, and guess what? He could supply a seemingly endless amount of anything they needed!

He was thinking over everything so much, he missed her second statement entirely, but caught her mouth move to say something else. He gave a light chuckle as he responded. "Maybe, maybe... Gele and 'Sparia ain't never had no good relationses antyways, soes perhaps there might be trouble 'ventually. Fact'o'the'matter is, I got a bad feelin' in my bones nowadays, an' I feels a storm settlin' over the seas..." He glanced out the window, looking out to his escorts. Giving a brief nod, he turned back to Nina, with a grin. "Oh, but that'll be the future! For today, how'about a sampler, eh?" That devilish grin in his face, the very grin that made him twnety-nine years younger, spread wide over the king's face as the two men entered the building with a few boxes.

Reaching first for one, he withdrew a sleek black rifle, rather long and fitted with a scope and silencer. "S'called the Morte. Gelemortian snipin' rifle" Drawing from another one a gorgeous handgun, with an elongated bronze grip and a shortened barrel. "while this babe here's the Vivre, Gele sub-machine gun. Real cute one here, wide spread, fast rate'o'fire; good for haymaker tactics, eh? hehe!" All these guns were making him such a giddy man! Guns, guns, guns, GALORE~ Drawing a small pistol from his shoulder holster, a guard handed the weapon to Wolfy. It was the prize jewel of handguns; tight and compact, with an extended clip size, classic hammer, elongated barrel, and a slightly curved grip. "This here's the official pistol'o the Gele Camelbacks, our elite team'a soldiers. Fits a bunch of bullets, easy kick, shoots like a charm. Called the LeRose, and trust me on this one; this pretty flo'er of a gun's gots her own thorns, hehe..." Now he was having fun!

Over a few more minutes, he withdrew and described a variety of weapons that they would give to the RRR. The Microhaxorr was Gele's infamous assault rifle, a short, but vertical long, assault rifle with a high rate of fire and highly advanced scope, with laser sight and silencer built into the gun itself. A handful of Cerisian guns, and the last one he brought in was a prototype of a railgun, intended to be used by snipers, which was tested as being pinpoint accurate at incredible ranges. "So, whadday'all think? Any favorites?" A grin just about wrapped up his presentation.

Wolfgang must have liked her reply, as he was now grinning from ear to ear. Hey, nothing wrong with making a man feel good right? Probably just made his day! Nina smiled in return, happy to see him so excited. It was nice to sit back and relax like this. No worries, just being happy. Of course the world didn't work that way, sadly. Things had to be done, government to topple, country to save. No doubt, only peerless fortitude and strength as the RRR pushed onward to victory! With Gelemorte's support, Nina finally started things weighing in their favor. Now all they needed was some better training, and some heavy armor. The Soviets had tanks and APC's, so countering it with armor of our own would be nice. One step at a time of course, one step at a time.

Five days? Wow, that was fast! Things could get rolling faster than Nina had ever dreamed! Looks like fate was on her side after all. She nodded to the nearby soldier, who bowed, and handed the King a manifest, containing all the arms and supplies we would require. When they had found out about his visit, and the likelihood of his support, Nina made up a manifest for good reference. Of course it was all estimates, but most of the finalizing would be done by her second Boris.

Miss Shostakovitch knew exactly what he was talking about. There was a feeling in the air, something she couldn't explain. Impending doom? Looming terror? Upcoming war? Only the Communists would know, and only time would tell. She shook this away though, no need to focus on the future. Now was a time to focus on the present. Changing subjects, the King began showing her some of the weapons they would be able to provide the Resistance. Only two words could describe them. HOLY. CRAP. So many! And so beautiful! Nina jumped slightly in her seat like a little girl at Christmas, her eyes lite up with joy. Keeping herself from yelling she wanted all of them, she gained her composure. "Well, Wolfy, I must admit you have some impressive wares!" she replied, a big smile on her face. Nothing could hide her excitement right now. She could tell he was happy too though, his eyes were just at lite up as hers were.

"We'll take as much of it as possible Wolfy, we do have a war to fight and a country to win!" This was great! Victory was within grasp! "Now, one area we are poorly lacking is armor. You know, tanks and such. Would you be able to provide those as well?" she inquired. At this point, that was the make or break in this upcoming war. Without it, things would be tough to say the least...

Glancing over the manifest, he nodded as he scanned the required arms, before drawing a red pen and marking a few bits on it, adding extra stuff to it, and increasing the amounts of some things. If he was going into this plan, he was putting a fair amount of supplies into Nina's hands. Smiling, he displayed his improvements to Nina, before handing the manifest to the man on his right, who was ACTUALLY, to put it properly, his right-hand man and advisor, Lt. Colonel Molotov Jeanboir. "Jus' hadda makes me a few 'justments, y'know. We got plenty'o stuff, and plenty'o resources'a make mores, if'n we need tah."

And as he spoke of the weapons, he had noticed Nina's eyes perk up with every weapon drawn. As he finished and she complimented the elite arsenal of Gelemort, Wolfy grinned. "I kinda figur'd you'd like'em. A bunch'of'em're act'ly not even exported under normal conditionin', soes you guys would be the first army ta'use'em outside'o the Camelback Mounties." And Wolfy carried on grinning over making the RRR feel special about their privelaged usage of Gelemortian armament, until Nina asked the question he had quite expected; armored vessels.

Now Gele had plenty of guns, amazing infantry, the best cavalry in the world, and arguably the best navy. But tanks and APCs were a rarity in the land of bitter cold. This was actually pretty reasonable; Gelemort was an island and therefore, the navy could devastate any attacking hopefuls, and the remnants that survived until they hit the coast would suffer at the hands of the Camelbacks. They really had no need for armors, so it made sense to produce relatively few. "Tanks, eh? Hmm... Well, I guess'et we could sendja what we got, but it ain't much. We do gots us some AT rifles, though I didn't never bring'em with me. Think that'll do for now?"

Wolfgang made a few slight adjustments to the manifest, making Nina smile. The more the merrier, as she always said. There were a lot of men and women to arm, and this would not only cover giving them all basic weapons, but having plenty in reserve. Not to mention enough ammo to spread around. She had only dreamed of results this grand for her rebellion. If you had asked her a year ago if she thought she'd have this many supplies, she would have laughed at whomever said that and told them they were an idiot. Yet, here she was making a deal with the King of Gelemorte to give enough weapons and supplies to last the entire rebellion, and even afterwards! It was almost too good to be true. But Nina knew this was not the case.

"Thank you, the added supplies and weapons will be most useful," she replied with a grin, still extremely excited about this whole endeavor. Now if only she could get Creta, Xing, and Amestris on their side... She shook this thought from her mind, knowing that worrying too much about the future. One step at a time. When the King mentioned that they would be the first outside of their own forces to use these weapons, her eyes lit up even more than before. Special privilege? Dang! "Wow, that's great! We will make sure to put them to good use!" She felt like a little school girl at Christmas or something, all excited about her new presents. These weren't toys though, these were guns, bombs, weapons of death and destruction. But they would not use them for that. The RRR would use them for justice, for the people of Drachma, and a better future.

When she brought up the subject of armor, it was not surprising to see him hesitate slightly. Gelemorte was known for their infantry regiments and their immense navy. Tank fighters, they were not. Hopefully though, they could get some from other countries like Creta and Amestris. Anti-armor weapons would have to do until then, which was more than fine with her. "Of course, that will be more than fine. You are already being so generous with everything else, we wouldn't want to take your only armor. AT rifles will work great!" she replied with enthusiasm. Today was turning out to be a great day.

Ah, yes. He had enjoyed marking up the paper, and ESPECIALLY enjoyed that clipboard. Clipboards were the only thing that made paper feasible for him to use. of course, NINA hadn't noticed the delicate care he took while adding marks here and there. But he had, and with good reason. Paper cuts stung a lot, and could happen virtually ANYWHERE that paper was present. As a child, he'd recieved MANY paper cuts, often from having to roll his own joints, and from counting the money he made selling them... BUT YEAH! Paper was rather unpleasant for him. His Kindle was his best friend... But the POOOINT is that he enjoyed offering up more and more of his services. He was, of course, quite happy to help.

And it seemed that Nina quite appreciated them as well! GOOD! If Nina was happy with the stuff he was sending to them, then Wolfy was happy to send it! "Youse is absatively welcome~ Anythin', tah get ridda all the corruptin' and such, and 'specially to bring down RIOTE." And of course, at the mentioning of armor, it seemed that Nina had prepared for that disappointment, but didn't seem too disappointed about it. Knowing the key to any good rebellion, she'd be asking other countries for some heavy duty stuff. "Well'en, that's good to know. If'n we had more, we'd give youse a couple, but for now, we gotta have some built for yah." Glancing at the time, he noted that he was to be headed back from Drachma soon, so he smiled to Nina, and enveloped her in that friendly hug of his, a tad gentler as he knew that most girls didn't normally appreciate a massive bear hug. "Well, it weres good meeting youse, Nina. Here's my personal-type cell phone number, if'n you needs'a call me," As he spoke, he handed her a slip of paper with the aforementioned digits listed, "An' have a lovely day!~ I gotsa run now, soes take care! Good luck with the rebellin'." With a smile, he headed back to the carriage as his soldiers gave Nina a set of courteous bows, before following. What a lovely meeting...

With Wolfy's obvious excitement, and Nina's apparent happiness towards the matter at hand, things could be said to be going 'perfectly.' Miss Shostakovitch smiled at this, as she loved when things went according to plan, and especially when they go better than planned! And that was definitely happening with this. Some of the best weapons in creation, and the support of the greatest naval power in the world? Sounded like a great day to most people, and most certainly to Nina.

"Well, it weres good meeting youse, Nina. Here's my personal-type cell phone number, if'n you needs'a call me." She bowed in return, taking the slip of paper and she leaned back up. "Thank you Wolfgang, and here is mine," she replied, handing him her own cellphone number on a small piece of paper. "It's an untraceable line, so you can call me any time, and safely."

"An' have a lovely day!~ I gotsa run now, soes take care! Good luck with the rebellin'." Nina took the hug, hugging back lightly as well. No need to get rough or anything, he was a King after all. As they left each others embrace, she smiled and waved as he left. "Thank you again! Good luck in Gelemorte, and safe travels!" she yelled, watching with a sparkle in her eye as the carriage drove away. She turned to her men, who were preparing the Jeep they had come in for departure. Boris approached her as she walked up to the Jeep, a smile seemingly etched onto her face. "So it went well I assume?" he asked, smiling back to her. "Yes my comrade, very well indeed. Today is the beginning of our new and glorious future. Can you see it? Feel it? It's... amazing," she replied as she jumped up into the Jeep. "Lets go!" she yelled, very much still excited from the days events. And so, the curtain falls...
