Waking up Feng knew today was just going to be normal. He had been having a lot of time to himself lately and he never knew how to feel about it and as he crawled out of bed and stumbled to his night stand to turn off his alarm. It was in the afternoon and he should have been up as it was but he decided he might as well sleep off as much time as he could. He made his way to the fridge tiredly as he rubbed his eyes and dragged his feet. The sun was leaking past his dark blue curtains which he really should adjust to prevent that. But alas, he was far too busy right now for that.

Opening the fridge he had to adjust his eyes to the light for a moment before he sighed and mentally declared officially that there was nothing edible in there. Only thing that was in there was a box of rice that had been there for... Well... He didn't want to know how long. He just grabbed the box and made his way over to throw it away. Running a hand through his hair he acknowledged the growling of his stomach and thought about that to do. Finally he just decided to head down to the market and find something worth eating. Tiredly he made his way to his room again and slammed the door before tripping over his own bed and catching himself through flailing his arms. He made his way over to his drawers and pulled out a pair of black well fitting pants and his black shirt with the gray skull on the front. He was planning on grabbing his blue hoodie but it wasn't here so he just shrugged and changed before heading out to put on his shoes on. Finding his hoodie and pulling it on but keeping it unzipped. Now moving out of the door while putting on his hat and glasses.

Putting his hands in the pockets of his pants he tiredly made his way out of his home and began his walk towards the market. It was a long walk but he was willing to do that even when he was tired and freshly out of bed. And honestly he looked like he had just gotten out of bed. His hair was messy and his hat slightly lopsided and his expression somewhat grumpy looking. But it seemed the more he walked the more calm he began to look. His scowl turning into a straight face and his hand reaching up to adjust his hat AS he walked through the market area now instead of before. Politely he bowed his head to people as he weaved through the partial crowd. He felt his tired drag still but he wasn't letting it show anymore.

Well then that thing happened when he loses ability to stand upright and this time it was caused by the accidental placement of a human foot. He went to step over the foot but instead ended up tripping over it anyways and then fell. Face first. into the ground. Between other people's feet and the only thing she could manage was a quick yelling of "Please don't step on me" he said, sounding annoyed. He sighed as he moved to pick himself off of the ground. Damn he wished he knew how to walk.

It was hard to believe this was Xing's second in command, really.

Get Bent Empty Re: Get Bent

What a past few weeks it had been. The meeting of a fellow member of RNB (if they even existed still at this point since it wasn't like he had exactly heard from Surealis lately), the consequent escape from Tokyo with those bastards on their trail, and then the leaving the country he had called home for his entire life. Sure he'd been out of the country before, but not like this. At least... he didn't think it had. Those lapses in memory were really starting to concern him at this point. It was happening too often now, or at least more often than he thought it had before. He... should have consulted someone about it by now. Maybe he would find his answers in Xing for that is where his feet had carried him. Across a desert, and far out of reach of those scientific bastards. He wouldn't go back there again, he refused! Not to that facility, not to those tests, not to that life. But how long would it be before he could return to his home country?

It wasn't like he exactly fit in amongst the Xingese anymore than he did his native people. Being 6' made him far too obvious.... Oh well, it wasn't like there was anything he could do about it except move on. So for now, he found himself in the capital of Xing, maneuvering through the crowds of people with little to no difficulty. He wasn't exactly hard to miss amongst the crowds considering how he towered over the majority of those in the streets. He was sporting his usual white button-down shirt with a red tie and a black blazer, black slacks, black socks, and black loafer type shoes. He had somehow managed to find the right kind of clothes in a store while exiting Aerugo. Not... that he had exactly gotten them legally. He hadn't a choice! He hadn't had his wallet at the time! Oi.... Why was disguising himself such a tedious thing? If only he could keep his clothes ON when he needed to blend in with a wall... But no. He had to get naked. Some might like that air around their private parts, but sometimes it just wasn't the right thing at all. Thankfully the weather in Xing was a bit warmer than Aerugo at this time of year (and he didn't have to run from any officials he saw either) which meant that even if he did have to strip to his birthday suite, it at least wouldn't be an altogether unpleasant event.

In any case, it was quite a lovely day thankfully as he strode down the unfamiliar streets-- BAM! He saw someone go down ahead of him and yet no one bothered to stop and aid this poor soul. He couldn't help but think of Tokyo with its ever bustling people who were always rushing to... somewhere. Increasing his pace to a light jog, the tall Kyosuke weaved through the crowd as he heard a voice call out, "Please don't step on me" Reaching down, he served as a buffer for the person on the ground, an easy and friendly smile spreading across his features. "You alright there?" He asked softly, grey eyes glancing to those that were moving about them now. Was he a river rock that separated the waters now? Heh, very well. It was now that he took a good look at the new face below him and what he found was rather... confusing in his head. This person smelled like a girl (huzzah for a wolf's sense of smell?), but looked like a boy. Was he, er.. she... er... it, androgynous? Or were they a hermaphrodite? Just how DID one refer to a person such as that? Oh well, he'd go along with the boy idea for now since it seemed a little less... offensive? Not to mention this person was clearly dressed more towards a male role in any case. "It's a shame how no one will stop to help a person hm?" Aiya was his Xingese a little rusty...

Get Bent Empty Re: Get Bent

Feng had failed to notice the teller person before as he had been walking, as his gaze didn't go much above his height. He just had not been close enough for him to have noticed. And as he had been looking up at him now he did in fact notice and also did take a moment to appreciate the kindness before accepting the help and standing and looking at him. Trying to get a feel for how tall he was going to be at full height. His expression looked calm mostly but his eyebrows were raised slightly. Making him look slightly surprised that anybody was bothering to help him at all. He figured everybody around here was so used to him falling that they payed no attention to him anymore. A couple people did used to help occasionally but he had not seen them around in awhile so he just figured they didn't care anymore and just continued to blend into the crowd. Finally Feng smiled at him and nodded as he took in what it is he said.

"Ah, yes, it is quite a shame really" he said with a calm and slightly cheerful tone "are you from here? Have never seen you around" he added. Quite sure he would have noticed the giant at some point. And something about his speech seemed a little out of practice but it could just be in his head, he wasn't sure. That was when he noticed he forgot to thank him and with an awkwardly quick slight bow he did finally say "thank you" quickly. He probably seemed like a mess right now. He pushed his hat down more to perhaps straighten up his appearance slightly. Most would most likely assume it was the fall that made him look disorderly but, alas, it was just him this morning.

He felt no need to say more as he tried to identify if he knew this person at all. He didn't recognize him at all the he knew of. So he just assumed for once this was really just a stranger who actually felt the need to help him or whatever. Which was a little refreshing to Feng. He was used to the common avoidance of the people when he fell or made a food of himself. He didn't blame them, it wasn't like he was often the type to make friends with them and they were far too busy if they were here for all that much down time. They did know him, usually. Which he had to admit, he did like that somewhat. But it also made him uncomfortable at points. But hey, perhaps this was a person who didn't know and was friendly anyways. He hoped for this honestly, would just be all the more refreshing.

Get Bent Empty Re: Get Bent

With a carefully measured tug, Kyosuke popped the person (as he would call this person until he could figure out what gender they actually were) back onto their feet with ease and a friendly smile, wondering why this person seemed so surprised at the aid. But it was quickly replaced by a smile which put the tall Aerugese man at ease as his hand left the Xingese person. "Ah, yes, it is quite a shame really." Oh good, his Xingese must not be THAT rusty if this person could understand him. "are you from here? Have never seen you around" It was time for Kyosuke to appear a little bit uncomfortable as he felt a giant sweat drop want to roll down the back of his head. He did stand out a bit too much, didn't he? "No, I'm not to be completely honest. I'm not even from this country." That was a safe enough answer, and he could always lie and say he was a tourist. Though... would it still be considered lying considering he basically was a tourist at this point? Details made things so very messy.

A nervous chuckle began to leave his lips at how awkward he was beginning to feel, which was rather odd, wondering just how today was going to go now. But suddenly the androgynous person was bowing to him, the quick "thank you" all the explanation he needed. For some reason that was amusing and so he laughed. It wasn't a harsh laugh, or even mean-spirited. No, it was a light laugh that sang out over the crowd with the lilt of a tenor, heads turning to the fresh sound. After the laugh began to die, he grinned down to the person and shook his head once. "Think nothing of it--Er," He paused, resuming his thought a moment later, "What is your name? I'm Miharu Kyosuke." Extending his hand once more, this time it was in greeting to this mysteriously gendered person, bending down a little bit so as not to form them to raise their hand too high.

(( Crappy post is crappy. ><;; Sorry! ))

Get Bent Empty Re: Get Bent

After he was up, Feng smiled up at him pleasantly, though still looked pretty calm overall. His eyes searching the face of the taller man. When he found out he didn't live here and nodded with his pleasant smile still. He always loved seeing tourists in Xing, it pleased him. It always made him feel proud of his country. He folded his hands behind his back now and bowed ever so slightly as he listened to the taller man introduce himself. Miharu Kyosuke, huh? Sounded Aerugese, but he wasn't going to say that in case he was wrong, of course.

"Hello, Miharu Kyosuke. My name is Feng Xiu" he introduced himself with a polite tone "and I hope you enjoy your stay in Xing. I am always happy to see outside people here" he said, as he crossed his arms now. That was when he noticed they were still in the middle of the crowd but... Didn't say anything. This Miharu Kyosuke was certainly tall enough to inform that people to part. Usually if it were just him people will bump into him and then stop and say they are soory. But if he fell on his own... Well, usually people don't NOTICE then. "So, how do you like Xing so far?" he asked casually.

(oh God this is so short. I am sorry ;;)

"Hello, Miharu Kyosuke. My name is Feng Xiu" Damn. That was NOT helpful in his endeavors to try to identify the gender of this person. He couldn't just ask out of the blue, 'hey are you a boy or a girl?' now could he? That was just... awkward. No. He hadn't gotten to the ripe ol' age of 29 without learning some things! Which meant he had also noticed how Feng had been examining him so closely moments before, searching and searching as if the tall foreigner might do something. If nothing else, Kyosuke should be doing that of the people here in case they were somehow tied to that.. place. Yes, don't think of what it was called and maybe he wouldn't black out. Maybe... Perhaps someone in Xing could offer some advice as to that what with their alkahestry. "and I hope you enjoy your stay in Xing. I am always happy to see outside people here"

He chuckled softly, a light and easy sound as he shifted his stance to account for people trying to get past them. It was really rather amusing since they almost seemed to stop and stare at his height, or else somehow sense that there was a great big person in the vicinity and so did their best to avoid it. Still, for the sake of politeness while being in a new country, he gestured for the pair to move off to the side, walking in such a way as to keep people from bumping into them. He didn't want to see Feng fall over again! "Thank you, I'm sure I will. I haven't been here for years, but it doesn't seem to have changed much. Still as beautiful as I remembered." To hear that plenty of tourists came to the country was a relief since it meant he might get even more lost amongst the crowd. Lots of records and stuff would have to get sifted through (if they even found out where he had gone to to begin with). "So, how do you like Xing so far?"

Oh boy, good question since he hadn't been here very long... "Well, the last time I was here was.... probably at least 13 years ago maybe... God I feel old that I can't remember for sure. But! I'm quite happy to be back. I didn't realize how much I missed the food, the gardens, the atmosphere... It's quite different from Aerugo, and in some senses all too similar." Oh now he was ranting, that wasn't ok in the least bit. "Have you lived here your whole life?"
