→ Unusual in his generation in the family, Jay has straight brown hair that down the his chin, which he also takes pride in and takes care of. He usually keeps the bangs away from his face so the prize of clear site, though he it does get into the outer edges of his eyes at times. Like everyone in his generation of Elicodin family, Jay has a darkly toned skin color, which is covered in scratches, marks, bruises, burns, and scars around various places of his body that includes his midsection, back, both arms, just outside his ribcage, etc. gained from a vast amount of physical training, battles, and survival training.

Jay naturally dresses in extremely plain clothing due to not only him not being one with alot of money, but also for not being the kind of person to always search for the finer things in life. His usual form of attire consists of a brown jacket and brown baggy pants with a patch of blue material sewed on it as a pocket. He caries a chain with him in his pocket that connects to his normally empty wallet. Jay also wears several necklaces that he has gained from each of his brothers as well as his mother. His body is also normally covered by a good amount of gauze, bandages and such for the reasons stated above.

Jay usually carries around something bitten down in his mouth which varies from a straw to a small stick, etc. Jay also holds his Alchemy Gloves in both of his back pockets and only wears them when necessary due to their metallic build that makes them rather uncomfortable to wear for too long. Jay also wields a lean yet muscular body gained from the seemingly endless hours of physical training he has endured over the years.

PERSONALITY:
→ The first thing anyone who knows James Elicodin is that he absolutely hates his first name, considering it too proper like to fit his style so he's been known as "Jay" for as long as he could possibly remember. Jay is more of a free spirited type of character that is in touch with his "Urban" style in which he speaks in continuous slang that is mostly made of words few people could understand though if he chooses too, he can speak in the general accent of the average man.

Jay also has a more positive look on life than his brothers and though he's not happy 24/7, it isn't unnatural to see him joking around quite often. Jay can also often be seen simply sitting around doing nothing except for staring off into space, thinking about as well as studying various things involving life, death, alchemy, science, as well as various other things. He is also extremely intelligent for someone of his age, often thinking of inspirational poetry, metaphors, etc. as well as think of amazing tactics when in battle or survival training.

Jay has a very deep determination in himself and tends to not exactly know when to stop fighting until his body let's him know for him, usually by failing to operate, causing Jay to eventually pass out, evident from the multiple wounds that seem to literally grow on him. Jay is also a lover of Hip-Hop & Rap, practicing it's rhythmic styles since he was just a kid, having somewhat of a inspiration to his fighting style, clothing, manner of speech as well as movement. It isn't unusual to see him rapping on occasion in the streets as a form of entertainment or yet another odd job to earn money.

Being the youngest of his siblings, Jay is known to be a bit shy at times, including when it comes to females though he is rather confident in himself, he has very little knowledge on how they work to the extent of him sometimes calling them a different species all together. The closest thing that one could say that Jay has to him are his brothers and his mother, willing to due anything for them in a heartbeat.

HISTORY:
→ James Yamica Elicodin was born as the youngest of two other brothers that went by the name of Marcus and Max. He was given birth by a woman of the name of Shani Elicodin. Neither James nor his siblings were ever told of who their father was but they never really grow too curious about it due to the fact that they felt happy with just themselves. The Elicodin household wasn't the richest of the bunch, but they did have enough to live pretty well lives for a family of four with only one guardian of the bunch. Though he didn't really have the nicest things, James didn't really complain too much about it and always enjoyed the finer emotional things in life rather than material.

Once he was of the age of 3, the recently nicknamed Jay witnessed his oldest brother preforming Alchemy and almost instantly drawn in by the makings of the science and wanted to preform the same beautiful actions. Since then, Jay has studied Alchemy vigorously and learned that both of his parents were former Alchemists back in their own youth days. This information was honestly the only thing Jay knew about his father along with his last name at the time. But since then, Jay and his brother's started to read countless books and done many practices on Alchemy in hopes of truly mastering the art/science one day.

At the age of 5, Jay traveled across town to do one of his famous annual hunts in order to find something of use, sort of like the job of a pirate, and stumbled across an old man that once studied Alchemy a long time ago. Once the old man learned of Jay's desire to master Alchemy, he handed the young boy a few books on its advanced and intermediate form, which were all hard to understand at his age, but one thing in particular caught his eye and that was the biography of someone by the name of Roy Mustang. Jay thought the cover page looked pretty cool so he opened the book and started reading, next thing he knew, 7-8 hours had passed and he had gotten to the 132nd page, marking his obvious interest in the book. He would then head on home with the books in hand, giving them to his mother and brother to check out excluding the biography of Roy Mustang, which he spent days reading.

Once he was finished with the book, Jay had gotten some ideas one what he wanted to do as a unique Alchemy style and started studying the makings of electricity as well as famous figures that practice electricity in their Alchemy and how he would be able to match something like that to Flame Alchemy. At the age of 6, Jay had preformed his first successful "Lightning Alchemy" as how he used to call it before showing it to his mother, and even though it wasn't exactly effective at the time, it weas proven that it could be done and from then on, Jay continued to practice on his own with some help from his brothers on this type of Elemental Alchemy.

Once he was at the age of 10, Jay's mother thought her children was about that age and level to start their real Alchemy training so instead of watching from the sidelines, Shani Elicodin got up from the bench and became her kids' teacher. Even though it was their mother, Shani didn't exactly give them too much time to breath. It was mostly train, train, train, food, train, little bit of fun, train, etc., etc., etc. This caused the Elicodin brothers to suffer, though never life threatening, painful injuries but in all honesty, it would bring on amazing results. It wasn't until About 6 years later that their training was considered complete, or at least had to have been.

At the "end of their training", the Shani had disappeared all of a sudden. They were all surprised by this because they were given absolutely no warning or a clue as to where she could have possibly went and why she decided to leave them or if it was even her decision. At first, they believed that she would return and lived by themselves, waiting several months but then grew tired of waiting and set out to find her on their own after going through whatever money they had saved and a few important things.

Though the money that they had wasn't much, the Elicodin brothers used it to travel across a town right next to South City via train to gain a bit of information. Though they weren't able to find much, they were able to find out that their mother was once a well-known State Alchemist across the land of Amestris. Shortly after this realization, an explosion sets off into the town and everyone is quickly exitted out of the place. Unfortunately though, the crowd of people attempting to leave the town caused Jay to become seperated from his brothers once he's finally out. Since then, Jay has spent months searching for them across the land as well as find a bit more about his mother, but with a very low budget, Jay has had to find various odd jobs and such along the way to make ends meat.

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ Jay has studied Roy Mustang's methods for producing "Flame Alchemy" as well as the aspects of electricity and incorporated it into his own style of what he calls "Electro Alchemy" in which he generates lightning by increasing the high frequency vibrations of his energy once he hits a transmutation circle, the lightning would then proceed to surround the transmutation circle. An extra boost of quality as well as quantity can be used with the presence of water as well. The only unavoidable weakness of Electro Alchemy is if their is the presence of non-conductive material such as distalled material for the lack of metallic ions.

At first, the lightning would only work inside the transmutation, but after years of training, Jay has been able to manipulate the Lightning in the transmutation circle by the electricity reacting to the metallic ions in the air and moving across it. At his current level however, Jay can only manipulate the electricity approximately 10 meters away from the nearest transmutation circle.

TRIVIA:
→ The name "Electro Alchemy" was actually given to it by Jay's mother after witnessing his ability for the first time

→ The nickname "Jay Electronica" was actually self-proclaimed to Jay after being inspired by his mother's name for his Alchemy

→ Jay is skilled in Martial Arts and is considered to be a very formidable hand to hand combatant. His style is mostly similar to the Brazilian Martial Art of Capoeira mixed with other various styles.

→ Though he's not completely immune, Jay has a high tolerance and endurance for electricity, taking a great amount of volts to harm him physically.

→ The saying "Never Throw a Stone & Hide Your Hand" was actually first said by Jay's grandfather towards his mother, who told them of the quote. Though neither are exactly sure of the direct meaning, Jay's brother, Max has a theory that it might have something to do with the Philosopher's Stone.

Wow, yeah that makes a lot more sense. XD Thank you for explaining better. So technically it's just pure human electricity, not lightning. Don't forget to make a Transmutation Equipment post so you can use your alchemy! You should say what it does to the people it hits in this post, I'm curious. Does it disable their brain momentarily, etc. Cool idea! <3 And welcome~~ ^o^
