DESCRIPTION:
→ The first thing you notice, much to Syrus's disdain, are the white and light tan fennec fox ears on his head. It is hard to pay attention to much as well, and if they weren't required to hear he would have gotten rid of them. But he cannot. the left one has a cut in it near the base facing the outside. His hair matches his ears with the white and the light tan in streaks. Well, that is his natural hair color is, but he dyes it out of distaste. He dislikes his hair matching his ears. His hair is usually dyed a dark brown or black. And is styles somewhat short yet somewhat longish and is layered. No particular part and just seems that he woke up and messed his hair on purpose. It is naturally rather straight. His eyes are a light gray blue, eyes are steady and somewhat piercing -- not looking through you, but certainly looking at you, as if to challenge. His skin is not pale nor tan but a steady average tannish tone. He has a normal human amount of teeth but they are shark teeth pretty much. His tongue is rather long from the anteater part of him yet isn't thin like an anteaters but is pointed at the tip and gets somewhat thicker as it goes on much like a persons. (Except of course the pointed part)

He has somewhat broad shoulders as he IS a man, kay? This also attributes to his light muscular build. Just enough to make him fast and somewhat strong but is not particularly strong. And he isn't all weird and thin either. He is at an average weight, because though he may eat a lot he also does a lot of cardio. Nothing beats running in place on a machine. He is a runner, not a weight lifter. He has scars on his arms and chest from his own claws but nothing on purpose. He just scratches some itches too hard. His claw like nails are short yet sharp and a somewhat light gray color. They do nothing but ignore him, though. He rarely uses them in any fight. Other than that everything is average looking honestly. And pretty much all his body hair is lightly colored so you can feel it but you can't see it. Even when he tries facial hair. Which he does occasionally. And if he gets serious about his sideburns he will dye them the same color as his hair of course. And he does have sideburns occasionally. And does dye them when he does.

His clothing style is usually that of an Amerstrian military style uniform just with different pants that are less poofy. Oh and is pretty much unmarked so he is kindof clear he isn't militant. And is black with gray trim where it belongs and stuff. He keeps a golden pocket watch in his pocket connected to his belt loop by a golden chain. Also wears a military style hat of the same black and gray color mix.

And the way he walks and handles himself is with confidence. He licks his teeth when he is pleased and usually walks with his hands behind his back and with an orderly step that he ends up competing with people to walk ahead. He is a natural leader like that, okay? And he yells a lot. Whenever he is even minorly irritated. So his regular voice seems to have gone a little raspy sounding though is somewhat deepish yet not all that much. And when he isn't yelling he is speaking somewhat softly with a smile.

PERSONALITY:
→ A natural leader: Syrus is a natural leader and will push people down to take this position. And he expects others to follow and to be loyal to him even if they have no reason to. Though he is like this, he knows when somebody is in fact in charge. He may not like that it isn't him but he will follow under them obediently if he has to for an interest or his own goals. It is very rare that this happens and he usually isn't ready to just roll over and allow them to lead him. Though for Sal he seemed to not have much of a problem it with it, perhaps it could be because he is a chimera as well. Whom he sees as the only try people to be above him, nobody else really. Though he feels he must be the boss, he is loyal to Sal and respects him highly. Enough to see them as equals, even though Sal is the boss.

→ Energetic: Syrus has plenty of energy to spare of which he uses for running to improve his physical condition or to do his job of course. He isn't hyperactive but he certainly has energy to spare. And his sleeping schedule is a bit thrown off by this, but not by much. It doesn't cause much problems though it does cause him to be somewhat brash with almost all of his decisions. Though he is pretty tactless anyways, but his energy attributes slightly to this. But yes, in general his decisions are quickly made and not well thought out.

→ Blind to his negative effects on others: Syrus only sees his positive effect on others and seems completely ignorant of those he effects negatively. If he hurts you, you have to somewhat make an effort for him to notice otherwise he will go on with his life without a second thought, never considering for even a moment that he might have done something bad. This makes relationships hard for him to maintain but if he DOES notice he will try and make it better, even if he has to lie to do it. But that is only if he cares about you. If he doesn't he will just make more of an effort to put you down. And he cares for few people. And even if he helps you it usually isn't anything more than to aide him in achieving his own dreams. Unless you, of course, manage to worm your way into his favorite list. Then he might actually help you every now and then but makes a point of it somewhat boring him unless violence is involved.

→ Readily accepts challenges: Syrus is the challenging type so if you challenge him to do anything he will most likely do if not for any other reason but to show you he can. This may seem like a good quality but this is also somewhat his downfall because he often gets himself in sticky situations just to prove himself. Also because of his brash personality, he doesn't really think all of these challenges through and he will end up with things he can't even possibly accomplish. But he is willing to try, though he does know when stop as he doesn't particularly want to die. It is hard to be awesome when you are dead.

→ Continues actions even when others give up: He is confident and thinks the he can accomplish what others cannot. He things he is better than almost everybody else and equal to the others. He will not listen when others tell him to stop unless it is Sal or somebody like that. And for those he loves he might listen to you from time to time but usually not really. He tends to disregard a lot of what people say. He is greatly intolerant of being told what to do, he believes he should be able to do whatever he wants whenever he wants even when others gave up on it.

→ Insults both the strong and the weak: Syrus doesn't discriminate with who he insults and there are few who escape his insults and emotional battery. Since he thinks he is better than pretty much everybody he goes out of his way to insult pretty much everybody else. This has started fights and he didn't really win all of those. And he doesn't even learn from them. He will just turn around and insult them again. Though he has been known to throw out the rare occasional compliment and they really only slip out when he is too occupied with something else to notice it. Close friends and those in a relationship with him may get them a bit more than others but he still tries to maintain his insulting outer layer. This isn't based off of some inferiority complex at all, he just thinks far too highly of himself to care about what others think or feel much unless they are that close to him for him to really even think twice about it.

→ Will defend loved ones: syrus will not hesitate to defend those he loves, as he sees that is the honorable thing and he thinks he is generally honorable. He is actually rather selfish, though in relationships he is less selfish of course but he still is somewhat selfish. If not kept in check he can really hurt people without really even noticing. And if you aren't important enough to him, he just simply wont care and his selfishness will only prove to hurt you more.

→ Overly conceited: Syrus does not believe in a God, but if he did he would be sure he was it. Not part of him ever for even a second thinks of himself as anything short of perfect. Honestly, the only thing about him he doesn't like are his ears, his hair color because it matches his ears, and his nails. But those are simple aesthetic things that the rest of him easily makes up for. And not to mention his personality. He thinks he is the Burger King and no matter how much people try to push him down it never seems to work. There is only one time he ever feels down about himself or a situation is when he fails somebody he loves which he makes a point of not happening often. To him he is a total freaking rockstar from Mars and is better than everybody else. He is truly the 'holier than thou, you are lucky I am even giving you the time of day' type and this seems to never falter. and due to this trait he never really spends all that much time depressed over his own actions or whatnot because he is sure he will make up for them by being awesome.

→ Sadistic: Syrus can be a little sadistic and generally likes to see others in pain. This attributes to his violence, or course. But this can also show in more subtle ways from snide remarks to just downright insulting people. He gets less cruel about it the closer you are but usually it causes people to not want to even try. Unless you happened to catch him in public on a particularly good day. Then he may actually seem somewhat interested in you and less him and may only insult you occasionally but nothing too major. It may seem hopeless to find him like this but isn't actually all that rare. He is generally a rather cheerful person who finds little to be depressed about.

→ Clever: Syrus can be rather clever to get what he wants but that is more in a street sense, though he isn't the strongest when it comes to book smarts. But he is certainly clever. And even when he doesn't know something he will come up with something to justify this. So he may be clever but isn't exactly high in intelligence. These is a difference, especially with him. Like he may be able to con somebody out of something but doesn't even comprehend Algebra and such.

→ Is mostly an open book: Syrus is painfully honest and will always tell you how it is, even if you don't really want to know. This even includes good things. But he avoids saying things such as that. Except the few situations, of course. But he won't hesitate to tell people about him and his story unless it somehow makes him feel weak. Then he will most likely hide it until it gets noticed.

→ Affectionate and loving: Not what you expect to see places with the rest of these things, but yes. In a relationship, despite all, Syrus can be affectionate and loving. He likes to hug and snuggle and all sorts of things to the point where it can seem somewhat adorable. He respects those he actually forms a relationship and he may still insult them from time to time and hurt them unintentionally buy part of him really just doesn't know better. He has never been in a real stable relationship due to all of his personality flaws but when he is he grows protective over that person and will do things for them and try his best to make them happy. But he of course isn't the best at this. These are the only people who never have to ask or anything to touch his ears. He doesn't mind when it's somebody he is with.

LOVE:
→ Violence, booze, cigarettes, military themed things, food, eating people, getting his way, chocolate, cats, children, techno music but also likes other types, himself, and men. Oh, and dominating. His favorite bands include: Skrillex, Muse, Modest Mouse, and Avenged Sevenfold

HATE:
→ People who disobey him, scientists, sunglasses, trucker hats/baseball caps, rap, the color pink, foxes, his ears, and the sky and it's many phases as they have lost all beauty to him.

DEEPEST SECRET:
→ He is secretly a closet romantic. I am talking affection, flattery, and all that jazz. But he hides this well even when in relationships and only shows this to them in momentary glimpses.

HISTORY:
→ Syrus's history started in an upper class family that lives in North city. His father was a scientist and his mother was a doctor and both of them were interesting in the idea of chimerae. They were casually trying to figure out the science without making one out of somebody already alive. That was when they made the decision to make one out of a fetus and whatnot. That was when Syrus was originally conceived with a twin. The couple haad always wanted children and this just seemed natural to them so it was not at all an issue for either. Yet somewhere along the pregnancy their marriage began to fall apart and before the twins could be born they separated and his father, Arther, remarried. His mother lived nearby but was in no way associated with Arther. The finally the day came and she finally went to Arther and his new wife's home to give birth as they figured a hospital wouldn't be too fond of birthing Chimerea babies and they had no clue how obvious their traits would be. First, Syrus was born rather harmlessly which they were greatly surprised by but the twin wasn't so lucky. During the birthing process both the twin and the mother died. Arther was of course stricken deeply by the death of his ex-wife but took in Syrus with his new wife and raised him in as loving environment as they could. They homeschooled him throughout his life starting at an early age but as he got older they found he had little interest in learning what they were teaching.

As a child Syrus was hyperactive and always wanted to be moving around. He was cheerful and your average happy child who just also happened to be a chimera. He did hurt people occasionally without fully understanding what it was he did but when he did he was quick to say he was sorry. He loved his parents and was quick to help with chores and such and never complained about anything. They were rather happy with his development as he seemed to be the perfect child, despite the fact they occasionally had to apprehend him for eating food out of the garbage and such but that was just part of his nature and Arther was sure of that so he didn't worry about it too much.

As he grew into a teenager he hit his awkward years where his awkward movements and way of handling himself cause injuries. Despite this he was still pretty happy and was showing more and more of his self confidence. He was a bit stir crazy but they weren't too sure about socializing him with the public really so he got to go out into the yard and play with relatives only. His interesting in school at this point was a strict zero and all he did was complain when they tried to the point the pretty much gave up because he was beyond stubborn. They figured eventually he would come back for the knowledge. They still had classes and such with him but didn't try too much to get his attention as it seemed he wouldn't give them any and favored listening to his ipod and running around over reading and learning.

In his late teens his stir crazy behavior finally drove his family crazy so they finally introduced him to cities and society in general. And Syrus managed to fit in rather quickly. This was also when his personality really shined through and he began to get violent. It started with biting his mother to them one day waking up to find a dead guy getting eaten. And honestly with them that was the last straw. He was sent out and honestly... He didn't care. He didn't need them. He didn't care about them. All he needed was himself. Thus began his life as a nomad where he pretty much developed into his full personality. He ended up joining the pirates finally at age 23 and hasn't really looked back much since. And with Syrus's personality he doesn't even look back to the past all that much unless asked, but still speaks fondly of his mother and father and makes it rather clear that he was a happy child. Because he honestly sees nothing wrong with his past and would never claim it to be anything less than awesome. But not as awesome as he was, and in his opinion his parents just couldn't handle his awesomeness. To him not everybody can. And that's okay.

→ Syrus's ears are highly expressive so it is easy to tell when he is angry, sad, happy, and ect. His ears betray him a lot.
→ He is 80% more sensitive about failure than he lets on. He can get REALLY depressed when he fails but luckily he recovers quickly from such derpression.
→ Sometimes insults from others do hurt his pride a little bit but it is very rare and when this does manage to happen he does into a rather inward depression but hides these sorts of things. Sadness and such are not strong things to him, they are a sign of weakness.
→ Hates being completely left alone or ignored, it will either piss him off or make him somewhat sad.
→ Sees the world as some dull gray lifeless ugly thing, is rarely able to appreciate little things that isn't him. Has pretty much lost hope in humanity.
→ He watches the sunset every day hoping one day it will appeal to him again.
→ Hates when he is awake when everybody else is asleep, only time he feels somewhat 'empty'.
→ Has little to no morals.
→ Speaks Amestrian Drachman Cretan and can understand some Xingese and can speak even less.
