A Pleasant Day for a Stroll

A Pleasant Day for a Stroll
It was a decent day out in the outer edges of Central City, far away from the main hustle and bustle of downtown. The wind gently blew through the trees as it passed by. Houses dotted the various roads heading into Central City. A man walked along the sidewalk with his hands in his pocket. He seemed to be at an eased state, walking and inhaling the air around him. He wore a back tee-shirt with a singular pocket on the front left part of it, which held a pack of cigarettes in its loose grasp. He also wore a beat up pair of denims and a beat up pair of sneakers, not to the point of homeless but rather just for comfort.
None of this truly mattered but regardless the thoughts ran through Alesana's head. It was what made her able to do her job so efficiently, her extraordinary calculating mind. Alesana walked behind her target at a slight distance as to not alarm her prey. Others also walked the warmly lit streets but they mattered naught for her, Her eyes where on her prize and nothing would stop her from achieving it. Her silver emotionless eyes tracked the man as he walked down the sidewalk to an unknown destination.
Alesana's snowy white hair blew in the wind as she followed the man, his path slowly leading them closer and closer to the city's center. Out of no where the man in the black shirt breaks off in a dead sprint down the sidewalk. Reacting quickly Alesana started her chase after the target not letting him out of her site. The man wove through side streets and people's yards in what appeared to be an attempt to escape. Alesana being right on his tail found out quickly that this was not the case as she rounds one last corner.
Behind the corner in an abandoned house's backyard, Alesana was quickly greeted with eight guns trained at her head. The man that she had been following stood behind eight fairly well armed men, all with there guns trained on her. Alesana came to a quick stop as she realizes what she had run into. Her eyes quickly scanned the situation for any and all advantages she might still have. As she did this the man smiled widely and spoke in a victorious tone, "Well well well what do we have here? The tool Hound sends to erase their mistakes?"
He paused for a long moment waiting for a response from her. None came except for her lifeless stare now trained right at him. Her face revealed no feelings of surprise or shock as she stood before the well armed men. This unease the man a little for there was no, question on how he came across such prized information as of her existence. Instead only the stare came. The man looked back into her stare, the smile slowly fading at the girls lack of discuragement. "Well your file didn't lie when they said you were nothing more then a tool now did they?' Alesana did not reply but only readied herself to dispatch of the man and his oafs quickly.

Decent day? Pfft, that meant nothing to Jericho Cross. The one man who's sheer arrogance and pride would give even Pride himself a run for his money. Many had met him in combat, many had failed, few had triumphed. At least in his opinion anyway. There weren't many who fit into his world of "perfect" let alone many he respected. A man who respected power among all else. His sense of him being "perfect" was ironic seeing as he was missing an eye, well had it replaced with an automail one after losing it. He had been taking a stroll around central today. The explosions upon Amestris hadn't even phased him. Those who were strong would survive and the weak perished, that is how he saw it anyway, nothing sad, simply survival of the fittest. This may have been why he was a member a big part of Briggs. Well, big in his opinion.
He had actually been laying on a rooftop when he heard the commotion, his one eye not covered by an eye patch opening to the annoying sounds of a man in distress....he guessed. Looking down from his perched he observed the situation below. Not so much curious as angered by being disturbed by someone he didn't even know. He saw nine well armed men below pointing all there guns........at a little girl? First of all, Jericho thought guns were cowardly. Second, it was nine against one, which he found not very honorable at all. Yes, even mister arrogance himself had his honor and loyalty to some. Finally, it was a bunch of grown men going against a little girl.......strike three your out.
Jericho got up onto his feet, his malicious smile coming across his face. He had to admit he was a little curious why they feared her so but, he decided on simple cowardice by the circumstances. Alright, it was time to go to work. "Hey jackass! Why don't you pick on someone your own size!?" His eye went wild with lust for battle as he raised his arm with the wrist mounted fire canon. "You have no right to live," he said as he fired a fire ball and used alchemy to make it explode like a grenade without the shrapnel by their feet. He then unsheathed his nodachi and leaped to the ground ready to continue. Worthless cowards....

Re: A Pleasant Day for a Stroll
Alesana's calculations were interrupted suddenly just as she was about to act. She was interrupted by a strange man standing upon a near by roof. Being careful to keep her target in the corner of her eye she stared up at the man above with her lifeless eyes, scanning and examining every inch of him. Her mind raced to compensate for the new entry into this situation. He appeared to be much stronger then the one she was after and his thugs. That would be an inconvenience if he decided to fight alongside these men. She hated inconveniences...
As the man spoke it was clear this was not the case as he called them out in their cowardice. The man then began to preform some sort of alchemy. Ales jumped back just in time as the fireball landed right in the middle of the scurrying men. The resulting explosion rocked the backyard, disintegrating three of the unlucky men instantly. The rest had been able to get far enough away from the center of the impact to just be launched in all directions. Ales covered her eyes with one arm as the explosion took place, her body not flinching.
Following the explosion the men were laying scattered in the backyard along with a large black spot in the middle of the yard. Ales acted quickly as soon as the smoke cleared. Her eyes instantly locked onto her target who happened to survive the blast. He was laying on the ground with two of his thugs laying next to him. They were struggling to get up after the impact of the blast had rocked their body's.
Two clicks can be heard as Ales ran towards her target. A few feet away she swung her arm in a line in front of her. Two blades seemed to magically fly out of the end of her sleeve and strike the two thugs, one in the throat and one in the spine. A third click can be heard as a large blade appears out the end of her left sleeve. As Ales reaches her target her free hand reaches down and grabs on to his black hair through the sleeve, pulling up his head to reveal his throat.
Ales bent down til her mouth was next to the mans ear. The man who was so confident before began to cry and beg for his life. Ales whispered in the mans ear in a emotionless voice, "I'm sorry.." As she finished saying this she slid the blade over his throat, releasing a torrent of blood onto the grass below. A noise could be heard behind her as the other men awoke followed by the sound of more clicking. Ales readied her body to turn around and launch a deadly rain of blades.
