A sushi serving..
Newly appointed as an imperial legionnaire. Pridefully he did tread the streets and roads of the metropolis that is Tōkyō-to, There is a great difference between the Kyūshū's Kumamoto where his clan reigned supreme and Kantō's Tōkyō with all of it's extravagance and lights. Tōkyō in his eyes breathtaking for the lad coming from the silent and quite south and for that he longed more for the place he did come from.
Homesick, he decided he will have a serving of Sushi. And he really hoped that it will taste here as likely as those made at his home, he really hoped though he deeply knew in his heart that it will be different as they differ from region to another.
He kept walking though and there is a reason behind it. The man owning the sushi restaurant is someone he knew and will gladly will deal with who is a Shimazu like himself. There is a message he needed to rely to his father and sending through primitive means could be useful in this era of great technology and it didn't matter really if it fall in the wrong hands because they will never understand it.
He left his mantle formed by the shy darkness that is night showered by Tokyo's lights at the Sushi-shop entrance only to take a seat raising his hand only for his index finger to be shown as a sign of one thing to be ordered.
Sashimi The owner recognized him and his order and only after a couple of minutes his order was served as Sashimi was presented with two separate bowls of rice and miso, indeed it is the epitome of Aerugese culinary. And beside them an object that is not to be considered an ingredient of food for it is a paper within it a map of Kyūshū is drawn and in it's side there is the Shimazu crest drawn as well. Understanding the message his father sent, he replied within the same paper with some words that could be considered as poetry with a pen provided.
"Naniwa bay, now the flower blooms, but for winter...
...Here comes spring, now the flower blooms"
Then he gave the paper to the waiter who served the order. Picking his own set of chopsticks he started to begin eating slowly after saying as tradition drives most the denizens of Aurego "Itadaikimasu" certainly if someone Auregese or even not joins things would be more amusing...he feels generous tonight and certainly another serving of Sashimi could be made.
