The Choice...
Wandering...Wandering for four years. She did as she pleased for four years. Back then the world was new and exciting. Wonder held behind every closed door she saw, but now? Now it was bleak, bear, and damn near worthless in her eyes. Life had no meaning to her, it served no purpose. In a world where the law of the land was Equivalent Exchange, humans were the only ones to seem to take without giving. A disease upon the planet and yet both survived the other despite the hardships they imposed on each other. She sighed. Laying back on the grass, as the soft blades caressed her exposed patches of flesh. Her crimson hair danced across the green like fresh strewn blood, her body poised in the most unladylike position possible. Her arms where supporting her head from behind, her feet firmly planted on the ground with her thighs spread apart. It wasn't like she wore pants, but the open dress would allow any passerby a free look at perhaps the most pleasant sight he'd see all day. A perverts dream.
Her eyes closed as she wondered about what path to take now. Continue her maverick lifestyle, pirating and stealing from wanton perverted men...or perhaps she should fly straight and take on a position in the Aerugese Military. It wasn't as if she couldn't pass the exam to gain acceptance. But it was the path of doing something against the norm which frightened her. Taking orders was something she never took kindly too. She wasn't the type to bend for anyone, and she was even less inclined to aid the government she was birthed to destroy. She heaved another heavy sigh. No wonder this weighted so heavily on her mind. It was beyond her to try and complicate her life with a system of rules. But perhaps...she would be allowed to kill without the terrible ramifications that happened after. She was in question with a series of murders already. How would that hold weight in her path of joining the militia?
She rolled over. She was really considering this? Was this really an option? The wildflower actually wished to be a wall flower. Limited in where it could grow, but nonetheless beautiful. She assumed she'd give it a try, but she knew no one in this world. Even less, she didn't trust anyone in this world. Even if they were bad she was worse. An Agenda that did not serve hers, always lie destroyed at her feet. She wasn't the type to yield...but that might just be it. She sat up quickly, and looked to the grass as if for some hidden answer.
What if she joined and used it to her advantage? She could clear all suspicions of her being this mass murderer, and at the same time give her inside intelligence on the government itself. It seemed like a legit plan and it served a short term goal, but what of the long term? She couldn't simply quit after joining. She could disappear, but she'd have to stay gone. That was it. She would climb as high as she could...uncover a secret she could exploit and then seize control of this Government...no not just the Government...but the entire country. It wouldn't be easy...and it wouldn't happen over night. But if anyone could do it...it was Yurina.
She reached up and stretched. Her ample breast raising as she did so, peeking the attention of a man running passed. She cracked her neck and straightened her hair. Best to try and find someone of the Militia background and pull information from them in order to figure out what was needed to get in. She didn't want to be restricted for something as simple as documentation. She would forge those papers if need be. She licked her lips as if she could taste the prize ahead. "Let the games begin."
