DESCRIPTION:
→ Nevada Vervada, as she’s know as, is of average Drachman height. She’s on the thin side, but has lightly toned muscles, indicating that she keeps fit. Her skin is white, though not pale, and her hair blonde, usually no shorter than the base of her skull and tending not to go longer than past her shoulder blades, though exceptions do occur. She has full eyelashes naturally, often accenting her blue eyes quite well. She is obviously well known for her shapely body, her long legs seem to go on forever, curves that are both catchy and appealing to the eye, as well as her large… tracks of land…

But I digress…

Her clothing style is… unusual, for a Drachman. Would she say “Let me slip into something more comfortable,” she’d probably return wearing nothing at all. Her idea of “conservative clothing” is a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. She is by no means an exhibitionist, but rather she prefers warming climates, breathable materials, and softer materials. She does, of course, dress for the occasion, and usually within the acceptable bounds of “appropriate.”

PERSONALITY:
→ “Nevada Vervada,” as she goes by, is a rather interesting case. She’s kind and polite, and certainly has manners, though she seems to forgo the standard societal rules, preferring to use them rather loosely. She is, in fact, rather liberal, and though she knows the limits and boundaries that society has in place, she tends to prefer to dance on top of that line, though generally she crosses it to some degree.

In general, she’s rather laid-back and comfortable around people. Very sociable, and even personable at times. She doesn’t try to impress people with outrageous stories, money, or glamor. She acts how she normally is, all the time, though sometimes there is an angle on how she acts.

However, from her nature, it seems that she might have “Ugly Duck Syndrome,” meaning that she either wasn’t “attractive” until she grew up, or she never considered herself as such, and thus lacks a lot of the more manipulative traits that someone such as her might develop.

Her intelligence is a rather interesting case. Though she doesn’t act it, nor would one expect it from a person such as her, she expresses a lot of interest in fairly complicated topics, such as philosophy, theoretical physics, and even the logic beyond time travel. She has also taken a liking to alchemy, and seems to have little problem with using it, though seems aware of the complexity involved. Due to the conditions she was in growing up, and consequential lack of education, evidence points at her being rather intelligent, but lacking any formal education to back it up with, and also that the subject herself is unaware of this. Another possible explaination to this could be that she’s a savant in multiple areas, but that is unknown for the time being, as the subject is avoiding any tests on the matter.

HISTORY:
→ Nevada Vervada, born Emma Akimov, was introduced to the world on December 28, 1988. Born into a working family, she never had much in the way of education beyond what was absolutely necessary. She had a somewhat comfortable childhood at her parent’s expense, with things never being too easy or too hard for the family in general. She was the middle child of 5, which often left her being ignored more than her siblings.

By the time she was ready for high school, her oldest sibling (and oldest brother) was about to enter college. Her parents dropped her out of school, seeing as she wasn’t learning anything that her parents considered valuable (which is ironic, since her parent shad been home schooling her up until this point), and Emma became a working citizen in the glorious nation of Drachma, though mostly cleaning some houses, looking after young children, and sewing for whatever wage she could get.

She continued supporting her family until she was seventeen, which was when she got a job at the “Hoofless Horse Gentleman’s Club” as a stripper. And, quite frankly, she enjoyed it. Sure, there were some of the men were major perverts, but security tended to take care of most of the trouble. And she was noticed, she got to dance, she got to listen to the newer music… Something about the light reflecting off the pole, the warm environment, and attention spoke to her deep down inside. And, that translated well into her ability to dance.

Of course, she needed a stage name. She wasn’t too embarrassed about being a stripper, but she knew it wasn’t exactly something to tell her parents (better to show up with money and not say where it came from, right?). And thus, Nevada Vervada was born, after a rather short name-pitch session between her and some of the other strippers.

Back on track with her history, Emma, now Nevada, found herself with an abundance of money, even after she chipped in to provide for her family. So, she started investing in books in topics that interested her. Philosophers like John Locke and Plato, books on the theories behind time travel, and even a couple basic alchemy manuals. All things that she never would have learned from her parents, she now had the ability to learn. And she soaked up the information quite easily, and soon started amassing a small collection.

The beginning of her big break happened when she was eighteen, when she was approached by a small-time “producer.” He had a simple job offer for her: do a short film, and make more money in a week than she did in a month. She accepted. As it later turned out to be, it was her first step into the adult film industry, and she quite enjoyed the experience. It was “fun and exciting” to her.

Until just before her twenty-first birthday, she continued stripping while doing the film projects on the side. She was popular in certain niche markets, as those were the kinds of films she appeared in, but they were often well-guarded secrets, and never made a big release in the public market. Until the production company was consumed by a larger, mainstream one. Apparently, one of the directors had taking a liking to the “Nevada Vervada” character, and the videos started seeing a wider release. She also started appearing in bigger productions, and became more and more popular.

Now, in the current day, she’s left her home, but keeps sending her parents portions of the money she makes. Her rising success in the international adult film market has allowed her to quit stripping, and caused her to take interest in redubbing some of her older work in other works. Besides delving further into her reading interests, she’s also refined her alchemic skills to something that she thinks might help her family finally live in ease: vodka. Right now, she has a brewery set up in Drachma creating her “Vervada Vodka,” but she’s looking to expand her operations, as production of her drink is currently small-scale. When she’s not working, she’s often travelling the world, looking for the next big drink idea that’ll help further her success.

ALCHEMIC ABILITY:
→ With ethanol (a.k.a. grain alcohol) on hand, she can add it to anything containing water. This usually amounts to vodka or a vodka-spiked drink, depending on the water content of the liquid in question. In people, this creates a drunken effect, and could potentially kill, but requires prolonged use, and as such is highly unlikely to occur on accident.
