A Last Chance At Redemption
Alex would walk in to the town of Youswell. the old mining town had been through some tight spots. But with the explosion of major cities in Amestris it was coming up. The recent influx of money made the miners richer.they had enough money to buy new equipment. but the miners recent riches were not why Alex was here. he was here as he had gotten a tip that his brother might be here. As he entered the town he saw his brother there.Well Kaien I have come to make you pay for your murderous ways. Kaien had a youthful appearance and was a fairly tall person. He had aqua green eyes and spiky raven black hair. moving his hair back his brother used the transmutation circle on his glove to change his automail. it was now more of a dagger attached to his arm above his hand. he than began to charge at Alex with his blade. Alex smiled and would draw his sword as the fight began.

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
There was a certain smell in the air that night, and the ever-curious Sal began to follow it almost mindlessly. In truth, it was his curiosity that had led him to Youswell in the first place. With the destruction of a lot of Amestris' major cities, it left a lingering desire to check on the status of the less populated places. However, now that he was here, the homunculus could smell - no, the better term would be sense - that something wonderfully bloody was going to happen here, and in recent developments, Sal he grown to enjoy these situations as long as the ones involved excluded people he cared about or himself.
He was wearing his typical pirate captain attire, which normally stood out, but given the fact that there were countless fumes and ashes in the air, the brilliant orange had dulled to a musty brown color, and his boots had lost their shine. Even his hair and fur had grown from a bright white to a grey color. Normally, he would have been coughing from the fumes, but Sal was no ordinary 12 year-old. No, he was Gluttony, and one of the perks that came with that was his impossibly convenient internal resilience. This was no different from walking around on a clear day in Resembool, save for the dark clouds that never seemed to pass.
As he muttered to himself, he approached the source of the murderous intent. Being the chimera he was, he was able to make his way around without much noise, and waited a small distance away as he heard the words the one of the figures spoke to the other, and the obvious source of the murderous cloud that was hovering over Youswell. They engaged each other in combat, and Sal giggled and clapped playfully at the sight, no longer caring if he was noticed by the two men.
"This is gonna be fun," he said aloud to himself.

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
Alex would charge forward as he dodged his brothers first strike. The strike ripped through his vest and exposed his chest. Moving his hand he sent a slash at his brother. The slash caught and caused blood to spill out. As the blood poured out he heard a voice speak out in Ishvalan. He smirked and took another slash from his brother this one drawing blood. As the wound began to flow thicker he would take a chance and flick his hand across the rayskin. The rayskin was made from spark cloth and ignited and his brother took a third degree burn to the face. His brother smiled as he took off the mask he was wearing. It had glass eyeholes and was burned black. He than smiled as he said that this was the last battle they would have. He than charged again dodging the flames Alex unleashed. The flames headed towards the onlooker who spoke earlier and Alex yelled his apology as he dodged yet another strike.

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
In the few moments between Sal's comment to himself and the flame that then came toward him, a lot of action had taken place, and a few of them resulted in blood being spilled. The scent alone was enough to excite the chimera turned homunculus, and the apology by one of the one involved in the fight wasn't truly necessary. Sal was quite capable of taking care of himself, and was able to move out of the fire's path in plenty of time. His ears, which were nothing short of a cat's both in appearance and function, twitched ever so slightly. Kicking up some dust, the small Ishvallan took note of something that had been verbally exchanged between the two men - that this battle would be the last that they ever fought.
The homunculus couldn't know what this was all about or how it all started, but he could stay to find out how it ended, which is exactly what he intended to do. His red eyes glinted in the light of the moon, and he moved closer to get a better view of the action, not afraid in the slightest that he might get caught up in the fight. After all, he was no mere child, and could match the strength of a full-grown man, if not surpass it. His tail waved about wildly as he skipped toward them, making sure to move out of direct range. Both of his eyes were now akin to a cat's (as opposed to only one), and it was difficult for him to stay so far away, to resist the pressing urge to slaughter the one already wounded. Blood was one thing that he loved - the smell, the taste, everything - and he would get it if he wanted, so long as it didn't bring trouble. A villainous giggle escaped his lips, and he grinned a wide, sharp-toothed grin.
"Don't lose~" He chirped with a heavy Ishvallan accent. The loser of this battle would suffer more than just a simple death or defeat by another's hand, oh, no; Gluttony had other plans for the defeated.

Alex would smile as his brother came forward for another strike. as it came Alex stabbed the earth with his sword. the sword opened up a crack in the earth further.the crack began to spread a bit farther. but as his brother got into striking range he maneuvered himself. his right hand grabbing the bladed hand and pulling it forward. the man followed the hand and received a punch to the gut. Alex then drew the sword from the ground behind his brother. he then smile as he placed the tip of the sword at an angle across his prothers back. smiling one last time he thrust the sword in.Sorry but You have fought your last fight Kaien the sword peirced hislungs and as he fell to the ground he said his last condolences. If only this had never hapened then we could have been at peace. Now stay down.

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
One thing that Sal couldn't understand was the lack of people outside. It wasn't that late that not a single soul would be around, and someone had to have heard what was going on. However, it seemed that everyone was either too absorbed in their own activities, too exhausted, or cared not for what went on right outside of their homes. Shoving that thought aside, Sal's red eyes were drawn to the crack in the ground that had been caused by a mere sword. The sight was impressive, but not too far from what Sal would be able to accomplish if he put his mind to it. Another moment had passed and the brawl continued, but then the sword was lifted out of the ground where it had been placed and thrust through the back of its owner's opponent, and, judging by its location, pierced his lungs as well.
"He's a goner~" Sal's voice chimed, and a joyful, playful expression grew on his face as he put his hands together happily. Something in the boy's mind had changed, something vital that helped to shape his personality. He was no longer the innocent boy that he was before; Gluttony had changed him, and scenes like this were now part of the list of things that he fancied. With the expression still on his face, he walked over to the two men and knelt down over the one who had dropped to the ground, leaning over him to get a good look. "He's a goner~" he repeated before looking up at the one who had done the dubious deed, grinning maliciously.
"You did good, mister~" he chirped, the playful tone masked by a sinister air. "Can I have him?~"

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
Alex would look at his brother and kick his side. the slight muscle in him beginning to harden the meat would be tough if he were to die. removing his sword he flicked his finger across the ray skin. the resulting spark created a heat that dried the blood off of the blade. as he moved his finger along the blade the dried blood flaking off as his thumb ran over it. With a smile he saw a being in a brownish pirate costume approach. the being had a certain air about him that seemed dangerous. Alex shrugged it off as he looked at the being. the being had white shaggy hair down just below his shoulder. his eyes were a shade of red and had one pupil was slit while the other was round. on his head were a pair of cat ears. He looked at the boy and smiled. then a hand grabbed his ankle. kicking it alex said I Said die Kaien. now you wouldnt want your little brother to finish you off now would you? his brother looked at him with the most twisted expression he could muster.Sure go for it he deserves whatever he gets. with that he saw a few people looking out their windows and some had phones in their hands. He really wasn't in the mood for more destruction then was nessescary.
Anyway why are you here kid. shouldnt you be with your family or something?

Re: A Last Chance At Redemption
A spine-chilling giggle filled the air as Sal licked his lips. So, this person really meant for the other to disappear, it seemed. The chimera's ears twitched as he noticed some faint voices from the houses nearby. Looking around, he noted that some were looking out of their windows now, some of them with phones in hand. That was bad...too much attention and Sal wouldn't be able to wander around like he did now, as he could become a wanted entity. Then the victor of the fight between the two men kicked off the hand of the other and spoke. So...they were brothers? Sal felt his heart sink for a moment, as he hadn't encountered brothers with a relationship like this before. Then again, there was likely some long history between them that caused them to be like this, so the homunculus just shrugged it off lightly.
"Sure go for it he deserves whatever he gets."
All the better for the homunculus, as this would net him a nice little snack in the end. He didn't care about the reasons why the two had gotten into the fight in the first place, as it wasn't any of his business, and he was just glad that he got a fresh body out of this.
"Anyway why are you here kid. shouldnt you be with your family or something?"
Sal giggled as he stood up and rolled the body below him with his foot. "I am here because I want to be. I do what I want." Grinning, the small Ishvallan lifted the body off of the ground with little effort, slinging it over his shoulder as though it were a sack of potatoes. "My family is not worried, I am always going places far from where I live." After looking around some more, Sal decided that it was best to leave the scene of the crime before more people showed up. "I think it is better to leave now, so I will go. If you need more bodies clean up, go to north, Jolly Roger, and ask for the captain Sal." He began to run in the direction of a building, then took a leap up to the roof before turning back around and shouted back at the man.
"MAZAL TOV!"

Placing it over his shoulder he saw a card flutter out oh his brothers coat. picking up the coat he saw it had a logo on it. it read Riote sub divison 13 The men in white. he laughed as it sounded like some cheesy movie. he pocketed the card none the less it might come in handy later on.picking up his sword he moved on out of the village. him and Sal just an enigma to the people. they were just strangers passing through they didnt need to be remembered for now.
