DESCRIPTION:
→ Vein is a thin man, looking more like a boy then a man. He was born in Xing with a father in the military and a three more siblings. The was never enough food for the family and Vein, along with his twin sister Rein, had to start working early to feed the family. This is the reason Vein has many scars on his hands and arms. Working hard for little payment, the boy became strong despite being skinny.
As opposite his twin sister, Vein has white hair and blue eyes with a white but slightly sunburned skin. Vein often try to hide his hair under a hat or cap when he is together with others but the hat usually blows of since it’s made by light fabric which used to be a skirt. Vein is used to light clothes which are easy to move in. When he works he is dressed in a ninja like outfit with a light, but protective, armor as an additional item.

PERSONALITY:
→ Despite growing up in a poor family with many people, Vein is positive by nature and always try to act to help others. As a boy he wanted to join the army like his father and help others, but as he grew up he learned about the hard wars the military fought and the sadness of a battlefield. Veins’ mother always told him not to join the military but when he turned 18 he still joined. Vein thought that by being on the inside, he could help avoid a war.
Vein is a gentle superior and is often taunted by his subordinates. But they are just joking and are very glad to have Vein as a superior. The general often says he need to be more manly and acting for a man his position, thou the general actually likes Vein the way his is since Vein helps keeping the spirit of the teams he join.
Vein learned to read when he was eight so he reads slowly but carefully. This takes unnecessary long time and his desk is usually covered in papers. But the xingese never slacks on work, thinking about his family. However during lunchtime one can find him snoozing behind all the papers on this desk, probably with a clean eaten plate beside him.

Vein likes food and money. By nature he has tried to gain money for his family and is now very careful with it. He learned to count before reading; his mother making sure the employers wouldn’t trick her children and giving them less payment. Vein like numbers and has always been very careful when it comes to engage his employers about the payment. If he does a good job, he thinks he has the right to ask for am improvement on his paycheck. Since he is careful and a good employee, he has gained a high ranking.
After hearing his father’s stories about the battlefield, Vein dislikes weapon. However he prefers cut weapon over shot weapon. He wears a sword but dislikes using it. The reason Vein prefers a sword over a gun is because a sword and cut the opponent down, stopping them from moving but not killing them. A gun is designed to kill directly while a weapon with a sharp edge can cut of limbs, stopping the enemy from using his weapon.

HISTORY:
→ Vein was born into a poor family with three other siblings. (Now he has 1 more, an orphan). Soon after the birth of Vein and his twin sister their mother who was once a soldier in the army, lost her legs after an explosion of a grenade and can’t walk or work anymore. Vein and his sister Rein had to start working when they were young to help feed the family. Their elder brothers had also started working in an early age but the next elder brother was born blind and can’t work like the others. An old woman living down street taught the blind brother to weave and also how to make and fix clothes. He makes money on fixing clothes for neighborhoods and weaving for the rich.
The oldest brother is named Xuan, the blind brother is named Lei, then the two siblings Vein and Rein and the two orphans called Ai and Nuo. The family is actually too poor to take in more children but the mother’s heart is big and she welcomed the two without any hesitation. The older girl, Ai is now 7 years and Nuo is 4. Lei have started to teach Ai who to fix clothes and their mother tries to teach her to cook food. The child has a hard time learning how to cook but is showing improvement in the sewing.
Veins first job was at a restaurant called The Forked Chicken. He had to take care of the cleaning at first but the owner wanting him to learn how to cook so she placed the boy with the other cooks. One of them disliked the child and pushed him hard, making Vein spill warm water and other material on the floor and at himself. This is the reason for all the scars on his hands. However, the child learned from the mistakes and in time the old cook started to like the kid. Veins cooking skills improved and in time he was along the best cooks in the restaurant.
The owner was very proud of him but said she couldn’t increase his payment since he was too young. Vein then left, looking for a job in the harbor in the town. He got a job as a carrier, moving barrels and luggage, out and in to boats and ships. If he has lucky, a man with a rich catch could spare him some fish or other goods. Then his mother would turn the fish to a delicious meal and his brother transformed the spare to something useful. The pay was better and he also got some bonus sometime. As a hobby Vein loved to watch the engineers work. Fixing broken motors and parts, making the small gears and wheels work together again. One of them found Veins interest funny and started to give him lessons is repairing things.
The harbor was filled with people from different countries, speaking a lot of different language. Vein’s friend the engineer, whose name was Welliam, told the boy that he was from a country behind the dessert called Ametris. Welliam was 18, he had left his home, following his uncle on a trip. Half through the ride the uncle had fallen overboard and left him alone. Welliam then started to work together with the other engineers, paying of the trip. The ametrishian taught the xingese to understand and speak ametrishian and surprised by the child’s fast learning the engineer watched as the boy learned to speak like a born ametrishian. The other engineers thought it was fun and joined the lessons too, trying to teach Vein their language. Because of that Vein knows a little ishvallan and cretarin too, but not as good as ametrishian. As he became 18 Vein told the men good-bye and left to become a milliner. And the story keeps on...
