DESCRIPTION:
→ The first thing that one would notice about Deirge is the pair of bright red eyes that adorn her soft skinned face. These eyes are looking at everything, always analyzing the situation around her with great gusto and interest. These orbs are not due to Ishvallan blood in the girl, however, as she has none. In fact, they are a general trait of the Brunestud family, borne throughout them through selective breeding of the members. So it could be said that she has some Ishvallan blood within her, however that has almost completely been bred out, save for the red eyes - which are a dominant gene, however not as dominant as brown. Because of this, all Brunestud Family members are mated with a blue-eyed partner.
Next, one would see the light blonde locks that frame her soft-featured face. This hair reaches her shoulders, and spreads out around her head. The locks are smooth and flawless, but you can tell that it has been cut crudely, as the base of the hair is slightly ragged and torn. There is also a single piece of hair that pokes up out of the top of her head. If your gaze was to move to her face, you would see the smooth features, and the kind mouth. Her skin is pale and light, and she takes an appearance of royalty.
As we continue to study this woman's body, our gaze locks onto the slender frame that she has, adorned with her pale flesh and smooth curves. Her skin is nigh-on-flawless, despite her years of travel, and gives her the appearance of being far more mature than she acts. Her clothing sits nicely on her figure - Deirge usually sticks to a white cardigan and maroon long-skirt, with a pair of stockings and comfortable shoes. This is certainly the best choice of clothing for her travels.
She doesn't walk with a gait like her old title, choosing instead to walk like a normal person to mingle with the public. On the palms of her hands are a pair of transmutation circles. She also has hemophilia, so is more likely to bleed out if she starts bleeding - and must get urgent treatment for any major wounds.

PERSONALITY:
→ To be honest, this young lady doesn't act like she is running away from the Church. While she holds tinges of paranoia, she only holds these tinges because she thinks that Elesia may appear from the next corner. On the other hand, she doesn't really choose to care anymore, trusting people that she meets more than she used to. In fact, she is almost willing to open up to those that she meets, nowadays.
She also has a powerful ADD, and is easily distracted from the task at hand, unless she is forced to concentrate. Because of this, it made it difficult for her to actually learn all of her studies correctly, meaning that her capacity for learning is quite great, even if her own intelligence level itself is quite low compared to those with larger IQ's and the like.
When she meets people, she can be quite amicable with them, speaking in kind and dulcet tones. She will usually attempt to work out their attention towards her, and their current allegiance within the first few minutes of conversation. If she finds out that they may have negative intentions, she will immediately cut off the meeting, most likely tie them up, and run away. If they appear to have positive intent, or are innocent in all of this, she will be even friendlier. Her naivety about the real world is quite extraordinary.
Although she is involved in this war between the Maiores Verum and the Mors Apostoli, she refuses to kill those that aren't involved. The very fact that she's taken up a position in the military means that she is already prepared to bring this war into the public if need be, and end it with any means possible. However, that may possibly result in her being removed from the Maiores Verum, so she isn't completely sure.

HISTORY:
→ For the past five hundred years, there has been a secret war waged. This war has been held in secret, out of the public eye, with small, unremarkable battles happening in places that nobody would see. These fights were generally short and to the death, occurring with little-to-no civilians watching. If a civilian was found to be watching, they were immediately hunted down and killed, as to leave no witnesses. This brutal war went on between two factions; the Maiores Verum, and the Mors Apostoli.
The Mors Apostoli were created as an offshoot of the Cretan Church. They are the sect of the Church devoted to performing the duties that the Church didn't want to; executing traitors, hunting heretic Alchemists, that sort of thing. Despite being known as the Mors Apostoli of the Church, they were also divided into certain codenames. The that time, the most powerful member of the Mors Apostoli was known as the Serpent of Akasha, or Roa Michele.
Unlike the rest of the Mors Apostoli, he was tasked with the simple job of eradicating the Brunestud Family. This family was special within their faction, being the self-proclaimed "Royal Family" of the Maiores Verum, a small clan of powerful Alchemists, split between Creta and Carriag. It remains to be said that these two sects weren't actually related by blood, just associated between each other. Now, every fifty years, a single member of the Cretan sect, and a single member of the Carriag sect mated, and birthed a child. Therefore, on the 25th of December 1992, a child was born within New York City, in Creta.
More should be known about the Maiores Verum, however. When one thinks of an Alchemist, one usually thinks of them as a scientist. However, when it came to the Maiores Verum, they were known as something completely different - sorcerers. Magi. They were claimed to be wizards and witches, hated by every member of the Cretan Church, and hunted by the Mors Apostoli. However, these Alchemists were only claimed to be like this because of the nature of their Alchemy. Unlike most Alchemists, they used the forces of nature to strengthen their Alchemy, as well as energy from within.
Now, when a child is borne between the Cretans and the Crieg, this child is usually fated to be the greatest Alchemist of the Maiores Verum, their "prince" or "princess". This child was born female, and is therefore the Princess of the Maiores Verum. This child, Deirge Gealai, or Red Moon, was given the element of the moon for her Alchemy, and told to study everything that she could about this subject, over the years that she lived. Although she was told to focus on Alchemy, she was also given a formal education, increasing her knowledge of the outside world, at least theoretically.
But this tranquility was not to last. As mentioned earlier, the Serpent of Akasha, Roa Michele, was the one tasked with killing the Brunestud. That was five hundred years ago, so it's expected that Roa would be dead by now. However, Roa was simply the name of the original, and the title of Serpent of Akasha was passed down through the generations, until it reached it's current holder, Elesia. Elesia is the current holder, and the one who has been chosen to execute the Brunestud. However, when she came to kill Deirge, she was confronted by a large amount of Maiores Verum. This girl, who had been trained from birth to kill Alchemists, didn't fail to kill any of them. It wasn't a fight, it was a massacre. She had been given research on every one of the Alchemists, destroying them with their weaknesses. But... there came to be one problem. She couldn't find Deirge. Despite killing every single Maiores Verum in her sight, she had no way of discovering the Princess, the one that she had to kill in order to win a victory.
Deirge, on the other hand, had already escaped. She had been taken by a few members that had survived the attack, and was being moved to a safehouse in London. It was a quick move, under the cover of night. They stayed in low-brow motels during the day, however. Deirge, despite being asked NOT to by her handlers, forcibly cut her own hair down short - in an attempt to hide her identity. This now fifteen year old Alchemist was being forced to take liberties that she had never taken before, and tried moving in ways that she didn't expect. She changed from her regal-looking clothing to more civilian-oriented clothes, and, well, tried to assimilate into society. But no matter what she did, she always stuck out.
This was to be the downfall of her small troup. Unbeknownst to her and her party, Elesia had been tracking her with perfect accuracy. If Deirge and her followers checked into one motel, then Elesia checked into the same motel two days after. She would question the staff, and then continue on her path. Somehow, she rarely deviated in her quest, and soon enough managed to gain on them. The small group of Maiores Verum were being hunted down by this envoy of the church, and so began the last day. The longest day.
"You finally caught up with us, Apostoli?" Her red eyes were focused on the face of the woman that stood in front of her - the other's nun robes fluttering in a light breeze that blew down the road. Deirge could only watch Elesia. If either woman made a move, then the other would be likely to attack as well. It was a stalemate by concession, and Deirge wasn't enjoying it.
"What can I say, Brunestud? The Serpent of Akasha will always succeed..." Deirge's hand went up behind her head, the young Alchemist sighing softly. The one thing she did know was that Elesia was intending to kill her. And as much as she loved letting the Chuch have their way, that wasn't possible for her. She hadn't been training for fifteen years for nothing. Her left hand clenched into a fist.
"You know, Serpent of Akasha, you made a grave error when you confronted us tonight." Her mouth twitched into a confident smile, and she looked directly into the orbs of Elesia, before tilting her head back and looking up.
There was a full moon tonight.
"Huh?" Elesia followed Deirge's gaze, before stepping back slightly.
"Maybe you should've thought this over. Or maybe you should've assumed... that this was in fact a setup." Deirge raised her arms, clapping her hands together, crushing a small amount of powder that shimmered in the light of the moon and letting it drop to the ground before her. The powder settled in a circular area, and she knelt down, activating the Transmutation Circles on the palms of her hands.
"Heed my call, Chains of Heaven. Face that which I choose. Bind them into sleep. I ask of you, Queen Moon." Her Alchemy glowed a deep gold before her, lighting up her face, spreading out through the ground. Elesia could only look around her as the ground beneath her feet lit up in a large array on it's own, creating the shape around Elesia's form. The material of the road was shaped and hardened, and out of the area of the circle came a large amount of chains. These chains were locked on the woman in the center of the circle, and coiled themselves around her like tar-black snakes. Deirge smiled and stood up, a confident smirk on her face. But all that Elesia could do... was laugh. The girl stood there and laughed, staring at Deirge through eyes that screamed hatred.
"Nice trick, girlie. But don't think I can't stop an Alchemist like yourself." She let something drop out of her fingers, and it collided with Deirge's Alchemy, splattering a cruel-looking liquid onto the material, causing it to crumble and dissipate. Deirge's eyes widened, as the liquid spread throughout the chains, strengthened by the very energy that it seeked to destroy. One could call it a parasite, of sorts. Deirge stepped backwards as Elesia broke free from the chains.
"N-no..." Elesia took a few steps forwards, readying her guns.
"We'll protect you, Princess Brunestud! Run!" N-no... The men stood before her, staring down at Elesia.
"I can't let you die for me!" The Alchemists smiled at her.
"We've been prepared to die for you from Day 1. Now please, we'll hold her off. Get to the safehouse." Her eyes widened as the Alchemists prepared their weapons. She couldn't leave them! She opened her mouth for a rebuttal.
"Leave!" His command was final, and Deirge could only run as the sounds of gunshots and shouts emerged from behind her. Try as she might, Elesia was being held back by these Alchemists. These people which she despised, and they were holding her back! She screamed out in rage as she slaughtered them, but Deirge was already far away, too far to chase properly. All Elesia could do was scream...
After that incident, Deirge was alone. She had no more allies that she knew of. She had no more words to speak to those she didn't trust, and so she only ran, her footsteps pounding the ground. She didn't take the same method as she had earlier. She took different routes, deviated from the path she was given, but continued to move towards London, towards the safehouse.
A month later, she found herself in said safehouse. This place was the safest place that she could find, and she could only hide. For months, almost a year, this girl hid. No, let's make that years. For years she hid there, getting assistance from those around her. She had contacts at the food places, keeping her fed. She had contacts everywhere, and so she was safe. That was three years ago. These days, she's been able to travel around safely, and is exploring both Creta and Amestris, in hopes that she can further her study. Her goal is to eventually meet with the Carriag sect of the Maiores Verum.

ALCHEMIC/ALKAHESTRIC ABILITY:
→ The entire area of Alchemy that Deirge performs is known as "Type: Moon", and is heavily based in a region of Alchemy that is designed to look like "magic" as opposed to "science". While the Alchemy still remains exactly the same, it's appearance is designed to deceive targets into thinking that it is magic. This is the Maiores Verum style of Alchemy. Under the influence of the light of the moon, this Alchemy gains more strength and the transmutation is both quicker and easier.
→ Level One: "Chains of Heaven" - When using the Chains of Heaven Alchemy style, Deirge gains the ability to entrap a target in chains made out of the materials of the area around her. These chains are built and formed, before moving out and wrapping themselves around the target in question, hardening into place once they've been formed. The chains come out of an array that is lit up on the ground by Alchemic energy - this is an effect to confuse the target.
→ Level Two; Part One: "King's Treasury" - The King's Treasury is a specific two-part Alchemy. When she activates this, and places her hand onto a surface, she can draw out either the hilts or the blades of a large number of swords at once. This is her "Treasury" of blades. Each of these blades is unique in it's own way, and she can keep an active array placed on the area inside them to keep the creation going actively, rather than leaving incomplete blades sticking out of the surface.
→ Level Two; Part Two: "Gate of Babylon" - While using the King's Treasury, Deirge is able to use these various swords as large projectiles, changing her Alchemy slightly to force the swords out of the surface at a rather high velocity. These swords hit a surface and then shatter about two seconds after collision, as the creation is extremely rushed, and the swords are only given the purpose of being used as projectiles.
