How do you misplace a child?
Ogihci had done it! He had finally found the exact spot where his son resided. Not Tataki, not Nero, not even his other long lost son Anthony. Nope, he had found Sal. 12 years ago he had a rather, unforeseen relationship with a Ishvallan woman and had apparently impregnated, to his disbelief when he discovered 12 years later. It was a long search but the rewards he knew would be greater than the challenge. A chance to raise another son. He had always enjoyed fatherhood, except for when he had to decide which son he would have adopted... That thought brought a tear t his eye. Poor Anthony, he was a grown man by now, and he hadn't even gotten to know him. He was soon writing a note to his new found son, Sal. He only hoped that he would receive it and that it would not get lost in the mail. It actually took him quite a few tries before he was sure the note was perfect. The note was written in Ishvallan of course.
He quickly made preparations to meet his send, the first one being sending the letter. He also scheduled off some time from being Hild and Aurel's butler, his little bit of time off for being such a badass butler. He was sure they could handle themselves without him for a little while. Then, he made his journey from central to the great northern parts of Amestris. He hadn't been there in some time. His journey actually brought him against a bear, he made quick work of it, but found it to be such a waste of a life. It took a few days, but he made it to the pirate ship. He walked up to the wooden ship giving a light whistle. It was a rather impressive sight after all...
"Ahoy there!~ Is there anyone aboard?~ He called hoping someone was here and he hadn't failed in finding his son.
He wears rather elegant clothing these days. First is a long, flowing, and purple three tailed jacket that has embroidering on the pectoral areas, cuff links, around the neck were there seems to be a collar that is flipped up but in reality is just rather big, and on the bottom around the rim of the jacket. The pattern is red and black in color, at times using a lighter red. It also has no buttons that are meant to snap closed and so the shirt is left open showing the dress shirt underneath. The inner liner of the jacket and the trim that goes around the edges of it and the arms is a dark burgundy color. The entire jacket including the inner liner seems to be made of silk. The jacket has cuffs on each arm with them rolled up once trim. The outer material of the jacket is made with a much nicer and softer silk and the jacket itself weighs close to nothing.
The second part of his attire is his white ruffled dress shirt that he wears under his jacket. As said before the shirt is ruffled at the top of it and seems as though it spreads out near the top actually covering part of his jacket and seeming keeps the jacket from fully closing. Though the dress shirt is white on the upper part the lower part of it is the same color as the embroidered parts of the jacket. Along with his dress shirt he wears a pair of purple dress pants that seem to be made out of a high quality silk much like his jacket. He also wears a red sash which he specifically wears to place his rather large sword into and it seems to be made of silk much like the inner liner of his jacket. The sash also acts as kind of a sheath for the sword. He also wears a pair of black colored loafers and a pair rather elegant white gloves made of leather.
The final part of his clothing is a beautiful pendant which he wears around his neck and over the ruffles of his dress shirt. This pendant was given to him by his wife on there 10th anniversary and he has never parted ways with it for too long as so it doesn't get stolen, broken, or lost. The band of the pendant seems to be made of the same material as moccasins. The band attaches to the stone itself through a hole in the top of it. The stone is made of what seems like a ruby that when looked at is jaded and reflects even the tiniest bit of light but is still seemingly flawless. He holds this item in high regard and will kill to keep it safe seeing as a sign of his and his wife's long lasting love and the safety of the future of there marriage.
Dearest Sal,
I am writing this note now to tell you....I am your father. My name is Ogihci Masu. I have come under the knowledge that you are my son thanks to your mother who gave you up for adoption. Whatever her reasons were for this did not satisfy me at all. I made haste in tracking you down and learning of where you were. Starting by your adopted family, it seemed that you had run away though and my trail went cold for a while. But alas, a true father doesn't give up that easily when trying to fin his son. I hope you don't mind me inviting myself but I am coming to visit you and I will honestly not take no for an answer.
Your long lost father,
Ogihci Masu

Sec was wandering the halls of the Ship for a long time before he heard the door being knocked on. He was actually changing into his suit about that time, and his hair was, possibly for the only time in a year, exposing his left eye, very unInvidiaishly. The eye was characteristicly paler than his right eye, by at least several tones, and the skin was almost rival to sour cream. That was the result of a near-permanent hairstyle. But he finished dressing hurriedly, grabbed his rapier and sheathed it at the belt, loaded his pistols into his jacket pockets and went off the get the door, not botyhhering with his hair, which would fix itself eventually. Still, he thought it looked kind of odd. As he walked to the door, he stopped to grab his medallion from the coat rack, bearing his family seal. Still in a sort of rush, not to leave the man waiting, he placed it on his neck, and opened the door to Oghici Masu, looking like he'd just walked out of the morgue or something. He didn't really smile, but scanned the man over. In Xerxian, he mumbled to himself as he examined him.
"Look's to be sort of old... Fancy suit... A pendant... Hmm... Hello, sir. I would assume you are the guest Captain Sal has informed the Crew of? Please, come inside. Mr. Oghici Masu? My name is Secundinasci Amor Invidia. A pleasure meeting you. Sal shpould be here momentarily. Please, make yourself comfortable." Sec waited for the man to sit down as he began to comb through his hair, getting his emover back, and adjusting his suit to look presentable. If they were to have company, he ought to look like it.

Re: How do you misplace a child?
It was happening today. He just knew it. Ever since he'd received that letter, Sal was becoming increasingly nervous, awaiting the day that the man would arrive. After all, it wasn't every day that one received a letter from someone that said they were a long lost father who had been looking for you. Sal had so many questions that he wanted to ask, but he wasn't sure how to word them. He went over them again and again in his mind, and went over the situation again and again, but it was just too much to take in. All this time he didn't know of any blood relatives at all, and then all of a sudden, out of the blue, this man was supposed to be his father?
The homunculus was pacing restlessly on the deck of his pirate ship. He was so nervous, but something told him that he should be happy that this was happening. Just the fact that someone was actually claiming him as their own out of nowhere was something that he didn't expect, and it made his heart soar. Someone who actually wanted him, was looking for him, might really be his biological family. Just then, he heard an unfamiliar voice call out. It had to be him, and even though it was the proper thing to do, Sal didn't go to look, he just continued pacing for a few minutes, trying to get the nervousness out of his system. Though he was only 12, his mind had matured rapidly over the past few months, even if he sometimes behaved more like an 8 year-old rather than a 12 year-old. It was a strange phenomenon, but the young Ishvallan put that thought aside.
He heard the voice of Secundinasci rather faintly, but at least someone had answered and invited the man in. After all, even Pirates knew the importance of hospitality, and Sal's crew was no exception. When he finally felt that he was ready to get started, he began to walk into the ship. He hoped that Xan would be there soon...he wanted him to be there for this. It was something extremely big, and if anyone's presence could help him keep calm, it was Xan's. When he finally reached the main area where Secundinasci and Ogihci were, he took a deep breath and walked over to to the man, holding out a hand, intending for him to shake it.
"I...Hello, sir. I got your letter, and I'm glad you took the time to come out and see me," the young chimera said awkwardly, trying his best to speak and act appropriately for the situation. His tail hung rather limply, a clear indicator that he was nervous, and his ears lay back as well. The boy could feel his heart beating slightly faster than normal. He had his hat under his arm, and was wearing the orange suit that gave him that distinctive pirate look. The boots, the coat, everything about what he was wearing made him look pretty authentic, save for the fact that it was such a bright color.
Sal's red eyes scanned the man known as Ogihci Masu. He did seem older, and his attire made him seem rather...wealthy, or at least important in some way. Something felt strange about his presence, but Sal couldn't exactly place it. It was similar to how Xan's presence felt after Sal had become Gluttony, but he couldn't quite put the puzzle pieces together just yet. He wasn't quite that insightful, unfortunately.

It would seem the door was answered a giant of a man. Old? He guessed he was, oh how long of a like he had, the children were grown up ,except for Sal of course. Hmm that language sounded familiar though. Ogihci thought about it for a moment..... Xerxian! Well it was not every day that you ran into someone who spoke that particular language, he wondered if the man would be surprised if he spoke it, this caused a little bit of a grin to appear on his face. This would certainly be interesting. "Yes, that would be me, and its a pleasure to meet you as well.~ Nice to meet a fellow speaker of the Xerxian language.~ After all, I don't encounter many who know it,~" He said extending his arm to shake the man's hand, with a friendly smile on his face. "Oh, where are my manners?~ Your name would be?~"
"I...Hello, sir. I got your letter, and I'm glad you took the time to come out and see me,"
This was when his son came up. The very person he had come to see. Ogihci had to keep work to keep his eyes from watering up. He observed Sal's ears. Chimera eh? He sighed lightly, look at what that wretched woman had caused by giving him up for adoption. But....he guessed that she had no control over that, and he couldn't be mad at her. It was his fault in a sense too, he could have been there for him. He looked at the outstretched arm of his new found son. He took it....and dragged him into a hug. "It is nice to meet you too!~" He said happily tears actually forming in his eyes a little bit. He had finally found! His son! His long lost son! He quickly threw him up over his shoulders into a seated position upon them. "Oh, we have so much to discuss!~ Perhaps a tour of your lovely ship?~ Or maybe you wanted to get some questions out of the way.~ Or maybe......A GAME!~" He might have been getting a little ahead of himself. But, he was happy.

Re: How do you misplace a child?
((Since Ogi doesn't have a lot of time left to post before boot camp, we're scrapping any sort of posting order and just posting as the opportunity arises. Also, sorry for the crap post, I was too excited to let my tiny bit of inspiration slip... XD))
The man grabbed hold of Sal's arm, but instead of shaking his hand, pulled him into a hug. He... he sounded so happy and it made Sal wonder how much this meeting really meant to the man that he had come to learn was his father. The embrace caught him by surprise and threw him off balance for a moment. Simply meowing in response, Sal felt his heart skip a beat. Despite the fact that this was his first time meeting the man, the embrace made him happy, and he wasn't exactly sure how to react, but he started to feel relaxed. When he was placed on top of Ogi's shoulders, he didn't resist - not that there was any time to resist, anyway. The list of suggestions caused his childish nature to kick in.
"A game? Ooooh, what kind of game? I wanna play a game!" The chimera asked playfully, his tail waving around. He had dropped his hat on the floor when he was pulled into the hug, but he completely forgot about it now. He wanted to play a game! Now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember the last time he'd actually played a game. After all, being the captain of a crew wasn't all fun and games, and unfortunately, that's how things had developed. Maybe now things would change, but for the better. Sal's entire face lit up. His eyes were opened wide and there was a large, playful, happy grin plastered on his face. "I wanna play a game!" He said both excitedly and impatiently, bouncing up and down on Ogi's shoulders.

Sec was surprised, actually. Like Ogi said, it was rare that someone else spoke Xerxian. " Well, actually, yes. That is a bit interesting, isn't it? Very rare indeed. I'm actually of Xerxian blood. Back to my great great grandfather who left Xerxes before it was destroyed. Amazing, that we met, really." Sec nodded shortly as he finished his sentence. It was true, that was a rarity. Just then, Sal came up. Sec saw the nervousness he was feeling at the sight of Ogi, and he felt a bit of sympathy for Sal. He'd never met his father either, so he knew that Sal was thinking all kinds of things right now, and to be honest, anyone would be a bit nervous at the prospect of meeting their long lost father. Sec watched amused though as Ogi lifted a now very happy Sal onto his shoulders and started shooting suggestions at him. He even laughed when Sal told him they wanted to play a game. Sec would have to stay and watch this. It was too amusing to pass up.

Re: How do you misplace a child?
Late... Prides' metallic voice resonated inside of Xanthus' head. How in the world you manage to be late to such an important event is beyond me. Crimson eyes narrowed in slight annoyance even as Xan admitted to himself (and consequently to Pride) that he somehow just knew that he was late to the all-important meeting between Sal, who was his little adopted brother and a man named Ogihci Masu, was was apparently Sal's long lost father. 'Long lost father...? For some odd reason, Xanthus simply had a hard time wrapping his mind around that concept. Sal's long lost father had, after an untold number of years decided to 'reclaim' him? So suddenly?
The Homunculus' thoughts were quite interrupted by the ships' large, rather imposing presence. Well, at least it might have been imposing when it was actually sailing. Locked in the ice however, it looked more like a ship shaped inn than an actual...ship. Walking right up to the door and opening it after a simple (if not sharp and loud) knock, Pride officially entered the ship of the Pirate Captain Sal. And was greeted by an interesting scene.
"I wanna play a game!"
Sal was busy bouncing on the shoulders of a more elderly looking man whom Xan assumed had to have been Masu, while Sal's first mate...Secundinasci Invidia, that was his name! Sal's first mate was standing in the room watching the sight. It was only after he had entered the ship that Xan realized that, coming directly from Briggs, he might not have been dressed for the occasion. He was still wearing his pitch black variant of the Amestrian militant uniform, complete with grey trim, grey gloves, polished black shoes, and a brightly shining silver State Alchemist's pocket watch. It probably didn't help much that his twin swords were sheathed at his waist either. Ah well, since he was here already...
"Hey brother, sorry I'm late. I kind of...got lost on the road of life." To the first mate and Ogi, Xan simply nodded, acknowledging their presence but not speaking to them, since he didn't know either of them beyond names that he had learned from the Pirate Captain.

A game? Ogihci thought for a moment. There were lots of games. Chess, checkers, but those might be a little less exciting. He began thinking again, there was hide and seek.....though he just found his son and didn't want to be separated quite yet...hmmm tag! That game was always ever so much fun. "How about tag?~" He asked a slight grin appearing upon his face. "Then again.....its not as much fun with only two people...." He pondered and remembered Sec, the Xerxian speaker. That's it! He could join, couldn't he? "You! You will play tag with us won't you?~" He asked with a smile that could only be explaned as child like and more of a begging smile. Its not that he was desperate, he just didn't want the good times to end here. At least......not right now....
"Hey brother, sorry I'm late. I kind of...got lost on the road of life."
"Brother?" Ogihci asked with a rather baffled look on his face. What had he done that night!? Though on closer inspection, it was quite obvious that this man was not related to him. He was too old to have been part of that night.... Actually he looked almost as old as his other sons. Well, if this man was like a brother to Sal, then he would surely be like a son to him....maybe. "Well its good to know you were never alone.~" He said his smile reappearing on his face and looking up at Sal. He walked over to the new man to the party, while still holding Sal upon his shoulders. "Hi there, the names Ogihci Masu, and yours would be?~" He asked extending out his hand in a kind manner. This was certainly interesting, he wondered how many more people were on this ship. For that matter, why were they on a ship?

Re: How do you misplace a child?
Sec watched in amusement as they talked happily for a moment, until Xan came in. He addressed Sal as if they were brothers and, from what Sec had heard from Sal, they were pretty close. Sec smiled slightly and gave a sort of half salute, his form of a wave. Then he was asked by Oghici to play a game of tag. Oh man, Sec didn't even remember when he last played tag! He actually barely knew the very very simple rules! But he smiled and clasped his hands together. "Of course I'll lay! Though I must admit, I haven't actually played any games like this for what, maybe 15 years or so. I wasn't even 10 then. But I'll give it a shot, I guess. Though I must warn you, your son is lightning. I wouldn't go easy on him, or it won't be fun." Sec gave a wink and a grin. This would be fun...(~(Is iT Roadhouse? xD And Sec is the only human here. o.o So many pimps!/homunculi!)~)

Re: How do you misplace a child?
There were all kinds of games they could have played, but when tag was suggested, Sal knew that's what he wanted to play. Especially when he learned that Sec would be joining them! After all, his First Mate didn't seem like one for games, but he did like to do fun things, so it wasn't that surprising. Tag! It was going to be so much fun! "Alright, tag!!!" Sal said, hugging Ogi's head. If this was his real father, then things might not be so bad after all.
A familiar voice broke Sal from his game-of-tag tunnel vision. Xan was finally here! Sal slid from his position on Ogi's shoulders and hopped happily over to the older Ishvallan, wrapping his arms around his waist, rubbing his face against the man's stomach and purring. "Hey!! Hey!! Xan!! We're gonna play tag, you wanna play with us? But I think we should play outside, because there's more room outside! But maybe the snow might be cold? But it'll still be better!" Sal rambled, clearly excited by the idea of playing tag. His tail was flailing about uncontrollably, and he didn't care much about Xan's tardy arrival anymore.
