Rose’s grandmother often had to rebuke her young granddaughter about her intensity and rash actions. After beginning her teaching with alchemy, Rose did indeed learn that the ripples of her reactions could be either beneficial to those she knew or harmful. To keep this teaching always in mind, Rose constructed a very basic transmutation circle to reflect the causality of her ability in observance with the basic nature of her teaching. She originally kept a marker on hand to draw the circle on her hand or a container to hold the water her ability withdrew, but later on she came up with the novel idea to engrave it onto her old tin whistle, which she tended to keep inside her jacket to alleviate boredom, and converted it to an alternate use as a siphoning straw.

BRIEFING:
→ Rose’s transmutation circle is fairly basic, and constrains the basic principle of her alchemic equation within sets of concentric circles, resembling ripples of cause and effect. Within the circles are power triangles to indicate the directional forces she wishes to exert on the applied element (generally, water, as she hasn’t practiced much with other elements though the theory is similar). The runic archaic words and the centralized knot design are more esoteric and localized among Rose’s homeland and give the equation specificity to her as the control portion of the equation. The central knot design is symbolic of the four basic elements in nature, reflected in the rune words, and their consistency throughout the whole of things. The resultant action is being able to pull moister from sources, generally the earth or stone, up to the surface to siphon out the pure water for drinking or other purposes.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:
→ Rose uses the basic tenets of alchemy to draw moisture from deep within the ground and stones. She first learned it as a basic survival technique it had entailed sapping moisture from the immediate soil beneath her and other such natural sources. With the help of her transmutation equipment, a metal “straw” (it’s actually a tin whistle given to her by her grandmother) with a transmutation circle etched into the pipe barrel, she can siphon clean water directly from a source containing moisture.
