Description: Liam is a tall man, almost always smiling, and cheerful, he is a serious scientist, with a less serious personality. He walks with a confident stride knowing exactly where he is going, if not always how he will get there. He has light blue almost grey hair, and light blue/grey eyes, with a pair of glasses that cover almost half his face, he has a certain predestined look in his eyes often giving him a far off look, like he’s concentrating on something that cannot be seen. He is generally wearing his military uniform, or lab coat if he is working, and is known to wear a sweater, kaki’s, and overcoat.

PERSONALITY:
A well spoken man, he is friendly, and professional with colleagues, light hearted and sarcastic with his friends and associates, he is the kind of guy who makes few enemies, and a lot of fair weather friends, he maintains a long list of acquaintances and associates who more often than not owe him a favor or two. He is a people person at heart often jovial and goofy, but he may take time to truly open up, he has a way of commanding the respect of all those who work with him.
A good listener more out of hopes that someone might return the favor than actual interest he is not prone to interrupt unless he thinks it’s important, he takes his work seriously and will not stop until he thinks he has done his very best. This manifests itself in his almost obsessive compulsive behavior, he makes sure to avoid being to obsessive in public, his apartment however sees very little use and makes it quite easy to keep it in pristine condition.

HISTORY:
History: Born in South city to Elizabeth and Jin Nakamora, he was named after his great great grandfather Liam Nakamora, who was a Captain during the Ishval conflict. His father the then floor manager of An Arms manufacturer, and son of a watchmaker was a rough man who had a down to earth outlook on life. His mother a kindly woman spoiled him beyond all belief much to the annoyance of her husband still; His father had to admit that was one of the qualities about her he had fallen in love with. As such Liam’s was spent with him being the center of attention, and his personality became that of a mother’s boy. He was devastated when his mother died of pneumonia when he was 12, he refused to eat for a week, and would not look anyone in the eye, his father was the one to finally console him by taking him hiking in the mountains for two weeks. His father related to him as his mother had died when he was a teen, and the shared sorrow he felt at losing his beloved wife. Liam would recover well with a newfound respect for a father he had not known before; his father would begin to push him towards the sciences as even at this early age he was a head above other children.
At the age of thirteen he began his apprenticeship with his grandfather a watchmaker a business that had been in the family for generations, by this time Liam excelled in mathematics and chemistry, and was skilled in all subjects aside from English. At this time his attention was turned to the Sciences, and engineering, he was pointed in this direction by his grandfather, who could see his talent. This started a long lasting friendship with his grandfather; it was also at this time that his father was elected as the new CEO of National Arms Fabrication due to his unceasing pursuit to improve the company. At 16 Liam expressed his desire to become an engineer to his father, who thought that it was an excellent idea. He removed his son from the apprenticeship with his grandfather and had him work in his factory as a line worker; although Liam still visited his grandfather and would help him repair watches. At 17 Liam was a floor manager in charge of all the line workers his father looked on in pride as Liam had achieved this position in a shorter amount of time then men and women who had worked there for years. At 18 he was accepted to a position in the company’s research and development department and began to go to the local university.
At 21 he graduated at the top of his class with a degree in Engineering, and he began work supervising the R&D department at his father’s company, it was in this year that his grandfather passed on, he was deeply saddened but his Grandfather had been sick for years before he died, he had already accepted his passing. The following year at the urging of his father and many of his colleagues, due to his leadership skills, he joined the officer candidate school, he graduated fifth in his class at the age of 23. He was immediately assigned to the militaries Science and Engineering division, due in no small part to his work before he enlisted; at 24 he was assigned to inspect other Amestrian military research facilities a job that drew upon his knowledge of weapons systems and science, and his ability to operate on his own. This job often makes inspectors liasons between the science divisions and Military intelligence with, Liam is often the only person representing central Science division in far off areas, and as it is the nature ofhis job he is often traveling. He has been working this assignment for a year now, and is hoping to clime the ranks and become a general in charge of an entire district. His father still lives in South City , and Liam often visits him when he can, they will often spend weekends Hiking the same mountain range they did in Liam’s youth.
