What a day...
"Hyaah!" With the collision of her kick, the pole shattered, sending splinters out in every which way but none. She smirked, and jumped around, kicking in the next pole and sending that one into pieces at the same time. Her leg swung around in a wide arc, and she spun to a stop with a small smile on her face, breathing heavily. The Homunculus stretched, and walked forwards, looking at the destruction that she'd wreaked.
Before AA lay a lot of destroyed poles - a small area of them, as a matter of fact. Splinters covered the ground, and she had to jump back a bit, just to make sure that she wasn't standing in them herself... which she was, of course. The girl wiped her brow, sending small droplets of sweat to the ground. With a stretch, she jumped backwards, and onto one of the tops of the buildings that surrounded this small sparring ground.
Of all the places in Edo, she appreciated this one the most. It was a building that wasn't destroyed by nature, or man. It had stood the test of time, something that she appreciated. With a sigh, AA stood up from her position, and checked her hair, making sure that her tousled bun was still in place. That was some interesting training, alright. She'd have to get it cleaned up later. But for now, Sloth jumped off the building, and onto others. She jumped between the buildings, making every step count, before finding herself approaching the city, leaving the palace far behind... She landed on the ground and began to walk normally, finding herself getting strange looks from onlookers. What?

Re: What a day...
It just so happened Saika was patrolling the area, the typical business considering that Aerugo has intimately involved military with the police. Hence he was not an unusual sight, from sometimes a military man all the way to a typical police officer going on and about. Stepping along the path and going his own merry way. Nothing remarkable happening as his gaze had become more fixated upon the more interesting surrounding than the mundane path he took amongst a light crowd.
Queue Saika stopping as he quizzically stares at a girl in trousers landing right in front of him, his attention suddenly snapping there. Tilting his head to the right slightly to which he cursed to himself in thought that he could not speak to ask questions. Although it looks like... from the angle she jumped, she had just leapt off of a building. Taking a quick glance to see said building... probably the roof, before inclining his vision to the girl.
Gesturing to her to ask in sign language (which hopefully was simple enough to understand to the girl-in-trousers): *"Are. You. Alright. Miss?"*
Notably... Saika had made a shape of hooters, also known as breasts, in his attempt to illustrate that she indeed... is a miss, that of the fairer sex. Hopefully not enough to get him into trouble for misinterpretation? Or perhaps the start of Armageddon? Who knows?

Re: What a day...
Woah! The sudden appearance of the man caused AA to step back slightly, and almost fall over with a small yelp. She walked back a couple of steps, and looked closely at the man - he seemed to be making signs with his hands. Strange... she watched them carefully. That was... Auregese Sign Language, right? She had no understanding of it, but she knew what it was, if you get what I mean.
Anyway, he made a few motions, and then one that caused her face to turn sharp, and a nerve to pop out in the girl's forehead. Breasts? Ohh, that smarts! He was a pervert, wasn't he?
"I get it now. You're a pervert! Pervert, pervert, PERVERT!" She stamped around slightly, the girl-chimera-homunculus-thing making small cracks in the ground beneath her feet. Yeah, she was kinda strong around there. Wait... if he was a pervert, why hadn't he dragged her off, yet? He was a pervert, right? Normally perverts dragged the girls off and had their way with them, at least, it was like that in the manga that she'd found under that man's bed...
"You are a pervert, right? And why don't you speak!" She blinked a few times, and tilted her head to the side. Maybe he wasn't a pervert? But why did he make that motion of breasts? She was worried, scared and wondering.

Re: What a day...
Saika's eyes widened at the sudden accusation of pervert thrown his way slapping him across the face harder than any bullet can hit guts. Shaking his head furiously denying his perverse nature, his face tinted red, only to stop shaking his head at the sound of the stomp. Inquisitively looking upon the cracks on the grounds as he tilted his head a bit to the right. His eyes widened still because... how did she cause that crack? The floor is made of concrete, and concrete is strong, and because it is strong, it is uncrackable by a stomp, hence she must be... abnormally powerful. A Youkai before him.
Queue flushing tinting away back to normal colors.
Then he decided to use SIMPLER sign language as Ken Shinaru is the only one that can interpret things for him, hopefully she can understand much more simpler and albeit more known gestures. Pointing to himself, to his mouth, opening it, he would then gesture that he cannot speak by tilting his index finger left and right. Closing his mouth afterwards. THEN he points to her again, his other hand presses against his chest, and afterwards a motioning where both his palms faced upwards followed by a shrug of a shoulder. PERHAPS that can be understood as how her health has faired... despite stomping her leg and her jumping around like that. Perhaps avoiding further confusions about him being a pervert?

He shook his head hurriedly, and blushed bright red. Oh, he was embarrassed to be called a pervert? Maybe he wasn't a pervert, then? He seemed to be adamant that he wasn't, at least that's what his body language told her. She placed a single hand on her chin, and tilted her head to the side, smiling softly at the mute man.
He then turned to make a few more gestures, starting by... was he saying that he didn't have anything to eat? Maybe he wanted food? No, no, there were a few shops nearby. He didn't want food, so what did he want? Maybe he was trying to tell her something - that could possibly work...
"What are you trying to tell me? Mouth... talk... no... You can't talk?" She tilted her head further to the side - almost to a point where she was looking on a completely right angle to the man. Alright, she was pretty sure she'd cleared up that issue...
But the rest of his attempt at communication was lost on the chimera. She tilted her head back to the other side, trying to consider every part of that, over and over again in her head. But she couldn't see it... She shrunk back slightly, and sighed softly, pulling a small notebook and pen out of her pocket - she usually carried this for... other problems, and as a way to make sure that she remembered everything; her memory was certainly not great.
"Can you write? It might help me a bit more than you trying to sign to a person who doesn't understand anything about sign language..." She proffered a kind smile and a little giggle, before holding it out before him.

Re: What a day...
It was before that Saika Shima has something against being called a pervert. It happens so often because of how silent he is at times that women change in front of him. Taking off their undergarments only that when they notice him do they label him as a pervert in their slander. HENCEFORTH why Saika has a thing against being called that, due to how often it happened to him. Often. Like that one incident he had with a nobleman's daughter due to his silence, which had at most, shaped Shima's experience with the matter of being dubbed a pervert, hence flashback of viewing intimate exposure of those whom he voyeuristic and stealthily just watched albeit not really putting an effort into trying it as it was inadvertent.
Flashback was gone in a nano-second anyways. Once again shaking his head at what she is saying. Sheesh, this is getting hard. He should really get a pen and paper and... oh, the tilter to the right had produced a notebook and pen. Well this is awfully convenient. TOO convenient... could it be she can read... INTENTIONS?! Wait no, that can't happen, she misunderstood him before. Yeah, that's right. It can't be THAT certain she is a Youkai. Probably not, definitely not. He takes back what he thought. That crack is probably a result of a gas leak minor explosion from below, and just happened to coincide with a stomp... that's right... and her landing is just a catalyst.
Taking the notebook and pen, he nods that indeed he can write to this smiling potential she-Youkai... yeah... somewhat perplexed from how she is tilting unusually to the right and all over the sides from earlier.
Writing upon it a couple of times on an empty page, he turns the note around to display what he had written. Basically it just says after a jump like that, that she mustn't be alright, that it was a long drop from how she jumped, and she might've broken a few bones without knowing it, that, and she would have to repair the tiles from running on the rooftops of the houses and that crack on the floor, that, and how her health is because of that drop.

Re: What a day...
He took the paper and began to write, AA watching carefully as he did so. He wrote for a few seconds, before turning the note around to show her what he'd written. At least he could write in Aerugese - good then, that he at least had some way of communicating with her - she happened to be quite unable to speak sign language, so if he could write and understand her speaking, they'd be quite fine and dandy. She smiled softly, and leaned in closer to the paper, reading it carefully.
Something about my legs, and if something like that happened, that my legs should be shot... Shit. That... and something about how I should really repair the tiles on the rooftops, and the crack in the ground. She looked down.
"Oo-er..." She blinked a few times, before reaching a hand up behind her head and scratching the back of her neck with a nervous laugh... quite an exaggeratedly nervous laugh, but still.
"Eheheheheh... I suppose that I really do need to, huh?" She looked around, completely unaware of the excessive damage that she'd caused while she jumped - it was almost as bad as the damage she'd caused to that field... but that was on purpose. With a small sigh, she turned away for a second, tapping her chin, before turning towards the man again.
"Well, what's your name? I'm Akiha Akihiro!" She clapped her hands together and smiled brightly at the man - the excitement of her meeting someone new being increased by the failed attempt to destroy her emotion - instead, they'd succeeded in making her more emotional than before.

Re: What a day...
Must be another one of those types of vandals, those who are unrestrained in their own crime commitments and at best, not even knowing. At least that's what Saika inferred from watching police officers on TV and hearing loose talks from them had told him. That they pretty much just pay a fine, do whatever it is they are meant to do, and he is meant to go to his jolly way. He is just a patrol man... whose cruel idea was this to make a mute man to fill the role of a police officer despite being a soldier?
He waved away the crowd as they are staring at this youthful girl for far too long. Probably a delinquent ditching school... perhaps.
So she smiled at him. It was quite unnerving most so and not really heart warming to Saika. So much vibrant emotions in that one smile, she is so youthful and filled with energy like a limber turkey ready to run a Marathon. He replied to the smile with a raised eyebrow, tilting his head slightly to the right. A quick nanosecond of self reflection upon his purpose all from a smile, heh.
Untilting his head, he turns the notepad around, writes upon it for a while, AGAIN, which is a hassle considering Aerugese has a rather cumbersome writing script, which tempts him to fight this cruel fate in life about being unable to speak by getting a vibrator (NO, not that vibrator as a tool for carnal gratification but the voice box meant to vibrate the throat enough to form speech).
He turns the note around again which reads as following: "Warrant Officer Shima Saika. You must fix tiles. Crack on ground needs fine of 21,000 Yen to fix. Pay at police station by this week. But now, fix tiles. Owners might be angry. I'll be watching to make sure you fix it correctly. Afterwards I will take you to school since truancy is bad for your future."

Re: What a day...
He seemed to be two things, at least he did to Akiha.
Firstly, he seemed to be quite worried about her actions - did he think that she was some vandal delinquent who wasn't capable of working out her own actions and destructive tendencies? That was quite possible, seeing as she had destroyed a little bit on her run through the city. But, y'know... She shrugged the notion off, and kept watching him.
The second thing that occurred to her was the fact that he gave of some kind of military feel to him. She didn't know exactly what, but he seemed to be quite the militant. She shrugged again, and smiled at him brightly, before watching him bring out the paper again and write something else down for her to read. She studied the piece of paper again, before looking up at him with an annoyed look in her eyes.
"Warrant Officer, Saika Shima. You're saying I owe a military officer 21000 Yen?" Her eyes narrowed as she looked at him.
"And you want me to fix the tiles?" She sighed, and shook her head, before standing up straight and pouting slightly.
"You don't know who I am, do you? I told you, my name is Akiha Akihiro, Retainer to the Royal Family of Aerugo. You don't tell me what to do, and I am certainly not truant from school." Her eyes narrowed again, and she stamped her foot down to prove her annoyance with him.
"Also, just because you're military does not make you police, my friend. You had better remember your place."

Re: What a day...
In this situation, there are three things that happened to Saika upon a revelation revealed to him that moment. It went in the scientific process of three, or more precisely psychological with scientific emphasis and oomph to it. A revelation that made Saika have a feeling of three things. Dropping the notebook to the ground as he lost grip of it.
The first would be a frown and wide to indicate disbelief upon being told that she is a retainer of an Empress.
The second would be his jaws would open up to indicate surprise as his mind begins registering that he may have to commit seppuku for dishonoring one of the Empress's entourage. Or perhaps... he might be beheaded and his decapitated head would be placed on a table as crows would peck on his head.
The third is trying to figure out what the Hell to do to avoid the prospect of trying to get out of this situation WITHOUT seppuku or executions involved. He does not like the prospect of death upon doing his duty and wronging someone unintentionally most verily so.
Could be a chance she is not who she claims she is, but nobody would be that bold to claim that around a military officer playing the role of a police officer.
So Saika inclined his head towards Akiha, making a repeat of bow that is common in apologies. Before finally planting his head on the ground and unto his knees he stands, humbling himself before this lady in hopes she might brush this off. Not because she is the Empress's retainer, mostly because she can darn well have him killed off on an order due to her 'special' privileges, jolly, being executed over the slightest of offenses is one of the things to shy away from in Aerugo, after all, Saika has a good mind NOT to lose his head over fining someone. Wouldn't really look great on his cause of death and how he died.
